McDonald's in Staffordshire Moorlands

I received this as a hot chocolate. More like dishwater.

Was asked to park off away from window. This is so they can fudge their timings / KPI which I’m sure head office wouldn’t agree with. Was served half a coffee…. Literally paid for a medium caramel latte and was served less than half a cup…..

McDonald's usually a great place. This one is always cold, we have told them so many times to yet no improvement ,so in winter all customers wear pullovers and heavy coats. Some older staff are helpful and talk, youngsters have no such pleasant approach or people skills. .car park is often very full yet few customers. we wish everyone month now instead of every 3 days.

It's maccy d,s. Say no more... Enjoy.

Really good, hash browns were very hot which is nice! Cola tasted great, just the car park is kinda one way and wasn't easy to find the entrance. Very very fast! Like 1 min max and served.

Atrocious McDonald’s. Given a £170 fine for staying 15 minutes over the 1 hour time due to slow service and talking with the people I was eating with. Explained the situation to the manager of the day who said not to worry, but the fine was still issued. McDonald’s corporate stated there’s nothing they can do and it’s purely an issue with the parking company. Ridiculous fine, for a ridiculous situation. Do not eat here

Very slow service with the drive through. Other than that it's a MacDonalds so you know what you're getting. Good dirty food for when you're feeling naughty!

Ordered electronically, and food was delivered fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the buger was not as hot as expected and bit if a let down.

I tried to order a coffee in the app but it said there was no McDonald's nearby. I was standing in the restaurant and the map showed that I was at a McDonald's. I was so frustrated I left without buying anything

Stopped for food at about 11pm. Service was good but didn't seem very busy, although there were a few in the drive-through. Place appeared clean. Tables were cleared. No complaints , usual McDonalds experience.

While costing less than £2 the coffee was underwhelming. Maybe if it’s just a medium for consuming sugar it would be okay. But really wasn’t great. Service was okay, although ordering from the app isn’t the easiest. A few people around me seemed frustrated about slow service. Not much parking but a busy drive through.

Stopped for a sit down meal 2/10,2024, around 13.00. My sister and I en route to Mildenhall. This is the best Mc Donalds we have ever eaten in. The food was hot and fresh, the staff were all so helpful and cheerful. Service was excellent. The establishment was clean. The gentleman on the shop floor was like a busy bee, tidying, asking if we had everything we needed, clearing rubbish, but not intrusive. An absolute credit to the Mc Donalds family . The staff should be very proud of themselves, all superstars

Avoid this place, do not go with family as they charge you 60 pounds per parking!!!!! Just go somewhere else!!

The best maccies in east anglia in my opinion, I travel from my home town where we have a maccies to come to this one, the staff are lovely, the ladies that keep the tables and floor clean are lovely and helpful, its spotless which wasn't easy in the school holidays but they kept it pristine, all the cooks and counter staff are kind and work bl@@dy hard and the food is both fast and hot, if I could give an award it would go to this place. Keep it up guys you da best 👌

Went for breakfast before a day out. The food was quick and no complaints. Jo who was out on the floor was so welcoming.

Had a sausage egg McMuffin to take away got to work and found that it was dry and the egg was green never again

The staff are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant is always clean. Plus, the food is served fresh and tasty and the chocolate shakes really taste chocolatey, which is unusual in most McDonald's. I would recommend this branch ...its the best for miles around, pure and simple.

Rarely use McDonald's but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a crispy chicken wrap, side salad and fries with a coffee & enjoyed all of it!

Pretty rubbish service. Don't worry about ordering at the screen, just drive thru to the first window, save you waiting 5 mins and not getting attended to.👍🏻

Where is the most efficient McDonald's? I will 100% say this here at Whittlesford Service Station, Pampisford, Whittlesford, Cambridge CB22 3HD. Here is why, We had a summer school coming to see the Duxford Museum. We needed help getting food for students, so we kindly asked McDonald's whether they could prepare food for us. We had 80 students so that they could prepare 80 Big Macs and several more chicken nuggets/selections in under 20 minutes. Can you ever believe this? This is the first time I have seen a fast food restaurant that is so efficient and well prepared for large group meals. They have good teamwork, a super friendly team and an affordable price (of course). They definitely deserve a 5-star rating and are highly recommended for pick-up and drive-through. Thank you !

Stopped enroute to hand over my grandaughter,during the school holidays. She was desperate for toilet,but we couldn't use.Of the 3 WCs,one was broken,with piled up detritus in cubicle,the other 2 were disgusting....couldn't use.

Discovered drive through order wrong when home- no response from company where informed

Early morning stop for breakfast. Sat at order point several minutes, no one taking orders. Drove to payment window, again waited for anyone to take order. Asked to park up to await order as no food ready. Sat 15 mins waiting then went into shop. No one seemed to know I was waiting and order still not available. Asked to wait few more minutes then order eventually delivered to me. When I get home, surprise, order is wrong, sausage n egg McMuffin had miraculously transformed into a plain old egg McMuffin. Saddest thing is, lots of staff, not busy, but still terrible service

Good food for people on the move and for those wanting a quick meal

It was midnight in the middle of nowhere and we were starving. This McDonald’s came as a welcome delight. The staff were surprisingly happy and friendly at this time of night. The food was hot and tasted really fresh. Thanks McDonald’s for a much needed meal after 11 hours of travelling.

Worst McDonald’s ever, waited 25 mins for our food right at the till and had to ask where our food was which was brought back by another customer which was given our food, didn’t get any fresh food and wasn’t given a refund. Then got lied to as the said they’d said our number multiple times which that hadn’t

Decent fast food at a decent price. The customer service leaves little to be desired but it’s only a 30 second conversation at a window with someone so can not expect much.

The attitude of the manager working today there wasn't showing a good example for the rest of the workers. I went there today just to ask, what you get when you order a big mac plain, coz last night I've ordered one in MC Donald in Liverpool street and they gave me one with onions and cheese, but I couldn't go back there coz I was in the train on the way to Cambridge. The only thing I've asked is what I should get, coz plain for me is just bread and meat. He just said to the girl from the till that he doesn't care, coz I didn't bought from them. But, my question is, MCDONALD is not a MCDONALD everywhere? Plus I didn't ask for my money back, just I wanted to know what I get next time and why they gave me that. I know is a huge company, and they don't care , they have lots of customers and they don't care if they loose one, but is disappointing.

Every time I have visited this mcdonalds the drive thru experience has been terrible. Never a wait time shorter than 15 minutes (for orders as small as 2 cheeseburgers). Today was somehow even worse. Waited at the order screen for a good 5 mins whilst 2 cars pulled up in the other to be served straight away before they even spoke to me. Nearly got me to pay for someone else's order, and the normal story of a 20-30 minute wait in my car (not so fast food..) and to top it off they got my order wrong. I dont know how this one is so different to other McDonald’s, but I would not recommend this particular site to anyone.

Second sub optimal experience at this drive through. Was charged for someone else's order, which the took an age to sort out. We did finally get our order. But it was wrong! We had to go into establishment to sort it out. Not exactly fast food. Even more so for the poor people behind us who were forced to wait for ages without any idea what the hold up was.

Perfectly fine. Polite staff. Check your order on drive through to make sure you get everything though.

Yet again the worst McDonald’s in the U.K. never any paper in the order terminals so your number flashes up and you’ve no idea and no ticket. Week in, week out, they just cannot be arsed here. Came in at 00:15, not really busy, but no staff, tried to make things easy by by ordering by app, but when you get here, drive through closed and the staff inside looked at me 3 times and just ignored me. 17 minutes so far and I’m standing here with no food and writing this review instead of eating. Joke of a place.

Called in on Sunday morning and ordered breakfast at 10.57 via the app and paid via apple pay. By the time we queued and got to the speaker box we were told that they finished serving breakfast at 11 and would not serve our order even through we had paid for it. They then cancelled the order. Not Happy

I've had the displeasure of this McDonalds being the closest one I've lived to my whole life. You could send their incompetant staff on an arctic expedition and they'd still say they have no ice. If you like new menu items, don't come here. If you like McFlurries which are more than half full, don't come here. If you like fries which aren't soggy, don't come here. If, on the off chance they do have iced drinks, they will be clumpy, since they have sat out all day. I once complained about an iced drink I had as it was a literal block of ice, but apparently that's how it's made according to the woman at the drive thru (it isn't my better half used to work there but was repeatedly told she was wrong when she asked why the iceberg which sunk the titanic was in my drink). It's been about 3 weeks since the iced drinks were available, and months since I last had a soft drink with ice in it. They often won't put the sauces you've paid for in the bag, and will forget to give you a straw. I've been made to wait over 30 minutes for a singular meal when I was the only one in the restaurant, and there were about 4 people in the kitchen, probably playing clash of clans or something, I don't know. Often they'll put you in a waiting bay for incredibly small orders - i.e a cheeseburger and a drink. They're often full up anyway with other drivers waiting so you have to wait in the road, blocking other cars. I've often gone late at night, where the man at the drive thru says they're 'updating their systems' and it will take two hours. I've spoken to people who have worked at other McDonalds and they've said they've never done that before. If you want to be let down I recommend it highly.

At 23:50 on Sunday 2nd June after queueing in the drive thru, and after every vehicle in front of me placing their orders I was informed, mid-order, that the drive thru was closed and I would need to place my order inside. I decided against doing so. Really poor service.

DISGRACE ordered food at 21:55, did not get our food until near enough half past 10, and this was only because i went up to the till and asked for our food as we had been waiting for half an hour, we received the food, and not to our surprise it was WRONG. as well as this there was many others who experienced this at the same time as us, waiting ages and wrong food orders. the staff don’t seem to know what there doing or what is going on.

Probably the best McDonald's I have ever been to. Only 2 minutes from ordering to table service. Super clean, super friendly staff. Food that was actually hot, rather than Skegness' lukewarm offerings! Brilliant!!!

I've written previously about this McDonald's being occasionally unreliable on the drive through. To the point where I go in to get the food. So this review is specifically about the chicken selects I ordered today as part of a much larger order. I've left the empty bag from my drive through review where they neglected to add a burger previously. BECAUSE TODAY THEY DIDN'T INCLUDE THE CHICKEN SELECTS. This is ridiculous and I am furious. I feel like I need to take them to the small claims court to get the money for the food I've spent for food I haven't received. I try to make my reviews funny, but today I'm so angry I don't know how. Stay away, they're thieves.

I was washing my hands but I noticed the member of staff opened the door and went back to the kitchen without washing hands absolutely disgusting. so I walked straight out of there.

Very decent place and the service was very good. The food was prepared very quickly and the fries were amazing. The store was very nice and tidy, everything was kept clean. The only negative was that the parking was restricted to 1 hour.
