McDonald's in York

I was waiting in my front room, for my order as I saw it was close. And when the delivery guy arrived he tried my door handle first then knocked on my door. Thankfully my door is always locked. I’m wondering why he did this ? I asked him why he tried my door handle and he didn’t reply, language barrier aside, he should never try a customers door handle. It’s taken me a few hours to think about this, and I may ring the police about it.

The driver refused to get out car and bring to door he rang us for us to meet him

Delivery driver was on time and polite considering it’s like a monsoon outside

I ordered a Mcdonalds at 1630. It said it would be delivered between 1710 & 1720. It finally arrived at 2015!!! food was then semi-cold! This is the poorest service I have ever had! Can i get compensation?

Order in at 17:15 arrives at 7:30 I understand traffic weather and all but seriously. However my own fault for been lazy and not collected

Courier was super swift but food cold, presumably due to being sat around a long time in the restaurant.

I didn't received my food and I didn't canceled the order, but the order still delivered successfully. That is so wired. The deliver contact me to ask the code constantly after the order has already shown that delivered successfully. The deliver also say she lose her job because of my fault?!

Food was so cold it was inedible! Spent £23 was offered £4 refund for food that went in the bin!!!

Absolutely disgusting, ordered food & because the staff are incompetent & can't pack 4 labelled products into a labelled bag, I as a customer have to wait 2days for money back & food that's not our order, & none of us eat, how is it acceptable to put the loss on the customer, worst customer service iv had ever, from anywhere,

Macy D's is ok to fill a gap when you're in a rush. Update 2024, a bit slow of late, shortage of staff maybe? Plus none of the screens you place your order with seem to work properly these days.

Didn’t receive dips or the terrys chocolate orange pie with the order.

Good for fast food if you’re desperate. But always having to wait then when arriving it’s cold ! May as well buy a cold chicken from Sainsburys across road for less . Otherwise get what you pay for. .

The website told me that the courier was waiting while they prepped the food. When it arrived, the food was definitely not recently prepped. The nuggets were almost cold and the flurry was melting. Not good quality.

Quick service , but unfortunately the food was only slightly warm . Tables were not cleared. Staff were nice though.

The restaurant took so long to prepare my order! Took over an hour to prep my burger! I could see the courier was already at the restaurant early but the status "preparing your order" stayed for an hour. It was around 11pm order&got it after midnight

Over one hour late and cold when it finally arrived. Very disappointed

Waited 20 Minutes to have our order. I saw my meal in the kitchen fully prepared. And still they didn’t say my number. So I came up to the counter to ask them for my order and said yes. By the time that happened my food was freezing cold. Once the rebooked the food it was 30 minutes from when I entered the building!

He is a good driver, managed to get it too me quite quickly

The drink had leaked in the bag due to poor packaging and the food was luke warm, but I still enjoyed the most part of it. The delivery driver was lovely!

Lucky to even get 1 star. Food was freezing cold and didn’t even get a bun with my burger. When I asked for a bun, the girl behind the counter slammed the bun into the counter. Not to mention the smell in the place was awful. Had to take my food outside to eat it. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

got food pretty quick however wasn’t allowed to eat in restaurant while waiting for others to get their order so food went cold and NO sauces were provided when specifically ordered on receipt. unhappy with overall service will not be back!

Its a nice clean place to eat the staff are always friendly and despite a big queue for breakfast we did not wait long at all. There is a kid play area just outside the main entrance so you can sit and watch them. It close enough to the main road but far enough away to be safe and quiet. A popular place for people going in and out of York city centre.

The Pepsi had spilt in the bag when he handed it over, I said ( what do you expect me to do with that) he said ( put it in bin) the food was cold the sauces were missing and no veg bag. I paid over £23 for 2 cold chicken nuggets happy meal1 cheeseburger and 1 quarter pounder with cheese.! Total waste of money.

Had to try the long lost McRib and it was better than ever. Professional delivery guy too. Top marks

Placed this order at 14:20 - the order has now been marked as delivered and I haven’t received any food. Refund refused. This company is a joke.

Ordered of Uber eats and they left out half of my order. Only put empty packaging in for the missing items. The hash browns were stale and cold

Overall, it's messy, probably because of the people using it. In particular, even if the bathroom is maintained, it is noisy and messy due to young customers.

I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese and I got two burgers in a bun

We didn’t get the correct order sent to us !! Ordered 3 different meals and only got sent a burger and fries which weren’t part of our order. Very disappointed
