McDonald's FORMBY in Sefton

Snail pace service. Don’t bother. Staff really slow waited over twenty minutes for two happy meals when it was quiet. Front staff were slow and not interested. Girl on her phone and chatting away to staff in the back absolutely mad.

Nicer than average McDonald's, is very big, was clean and has a play area. Would like it if more McDonald's were like this.

Always a problem here. Never any gerkin on big mac, voucher codes go wrong when scanning then when you try to enter manually it says it has already been used. Toilets always discusting.

I went into mcdonald's and told them order half of it was missimg when i received it then i had to go back got my order but the burger i asked for was a plain cheese burger and they still gave me a cheese burger with all the stuff on it its every time i go to this maccies they always mess up the order.

Once again Ronald McDonald himself has been hiring at the golden arches....... One job and they screwed it up! A happy meal with a plain cheeseburger..... my daughter burst out laughing in the back of the car when she opened her happy meal box the chips were tepid and pretty much all over the box and her plain cheeseburger was missing a bun! Yes we all thought it was funny but come on its missing off the other side of the bun 🫣 surely can't be an "oversight". My lads happy meal was okay that's why I gave them 3*s

Food is always great, but often takes a long time for Mcdonalds. Occasionally, I've been asked to park up and then had to go inside as I was forgotten about. This has to be the slowest Mcdonalds in the area.

Waited like half an hour to pay then another 20 for the food and my happy meal came with no toy. Also gave me a flat coke

Would give 0 if I could. Truly awful place to visit. More often than not it’s filthy, food is almost always cold or wrong, drinks flat, milkshakes aren’t even remotely solid and are contaminated with the previously made flavour. Can stand at the counter waiting for staff up to 5-10 minutes before the 5 staff who have noticed you even bother to turn their attention. Shocking

Nice food, friendly staff, clean

This place was absolutely awful. Waited 20 mins for three cheeseburgers and coffees only to send the food back because it was stone cold. Staff were slow and unhelpful, obviously couldn't of cared less. Manager had the same attitude. The worst mcdonalds weve ever been to and won't ever go back, I'd rather go to Tesco next door for a meal deal.

Main entry doors broken on way in.. food cold.. tho service was quite quick. Toilets were a disgrace. Ladies sink looked like someone had vomited in it and the towel dispenser was out of use.. the mens toilet stunk and had faeces over the pan and seat. Customers are out of order leaving them in this way but they definitely hadn't been cleaned in a while. Disabled toilet was out of order. Not good enough

Service is very slow and it's certainly not fast food. It seems to take a while to get a complete order from this place

No straws or any of the sauces to go with the meals so my children won’t eat them, absolute laziness from McDonald’s every time it’s ordered

3 hours after placing my order, with the app showing it was being prepared (it’s a McDonald’s, how long can it take?!) and trying unsuccessfully to ring the restaurant several times, the app just updated to say it was delivered at 7.30pm. It’s 9.10pm, no sign of the food (we ordered dominos in the end which arrived in 20 mins, I would recommend). Absolute joke, will never order again. Now to try and claim a refund 🙄

4 nuggets instead of 6 - food was cold, delivery time kept getting put back. Big Tasty a belter, that's about it. You need to improve this McDonald's.

Customers that eat in or order takeaway inside are left to the bottom of the queue. Drive through customers take priority. We waited over 25 minutes for our order despite there only being 4 orders ahead of us on the screen. There appeared to be lots of staff wandering around, doing very little. The just eat driver waited just as long. Our food was only just warm. I'd hate to think what his food was like when it got to the destination. No apology for the delay. Toilets, disgusting. Avoid this place like the plague.

Can you ask the driver why he always seems to drive in the opposite direction when he’s collected my order? Every time the food is cold and ice cream has melted

The delivery was good but my food didn’t have any sauce or cheese on it even though I only clicked no vegetables so I ordered a cheesy mccrispy which had no cheese

Fries were stone cold. Missing 5 chicken selects from the meal and big tasty with bacon was missing the bacon.

Service is too slow in this branch, use drive through normally but went inside today … even worse! Going to find a local business to buy a coffee from. McDonalds are having no more of my hard earned money

Ordered cheesy mcrispy to try the new flavour and they sent a completely plain one with no sauce or toppings defeating the whole purpose of ordering that one

Kitchen seems way too small for the demand. Even the simplest of orders take way too long to wait for. Staff unhelpful. Ice cream / milkshakes never available. Other than this it’s great.

Slow is an understatement. Food is expected to be poor but the idea is you sacrifice quality for speed. Not here. Here you get the worst of both worlds.

Only went for a Cappuccino and Latte, was served in drive through, when parked up, open the Cappuccino to find it looked like dishwater, i took it back and exchanged for a proper 1 with no bother. BUT, the people making these cuppas need to be more awake and realise that they can't serve rubbish!!!

Food not prepared how I’ve ordered it, payed for extras and got it plan, no sauces which i ordered chips and cheese bites were freezing cold, also ordered a Coke Zero and got full fat Coke which I can’t drink

Food was served quickly and hot. Made a nice change to not be served behind all the just eat and deliveroo orders.

Absolutely shocking service. My order was made late (no issue there as I know they are busy) but then proceeded to be driven all around Formby. When order arrived half missing and a post it note advising that no milkshakes available so instead of delivering a different drink (water even as a safe option) the note told us to request a refund. No sauce no straws and a learner driver delivering with someone in the passenger seat. Do better McDonalds.

Chips are always cold and so is most of the food you order. Ordered an apple pie and it was burnt and cold. They never get your order right and the staff are always missable. Think it’s worst McDonald’s in the country.

Just got breakfast , it’s been a while , I know why now ! Rock hard hash browns , hot chocolate just like dirty water , no taste ! And if you drive up to the outside drive through order , it’s 4-1 as the inside one gets services first I was told ! but the best item was the sausage muffin , half of the muffin was missing ! I will never return , Tim Hortons breakfast is so much better in every way !

order was missing the chicken nuggets and BBQ sauce.

I specifically filled in your order notes box asking the store to ENSURE ( in capital letters ) that the requested dips were included and a straw and serviettes were in the bag also and that the food was hot and it is freezing cold (had to reheat in microwave ) and NONE of these items came with the order.. not even the straw to drink the drink of the meal I ordered..🤷🏻‍♀️! That is an essential item ..the courier said he did see the note on the order and just presumed the store had put them in ..

Once again missing items from order & once again no sauces & no straws. Don’t think I’ve had a McDonalds when order is correct & have all sauces we ordered & get straws.

Nice place seems clean enough. Slow service and only 1 toilet for each sex ? Wouldn't like to be there when it's packed out.

Went through some through and every time I go, it's always busy and slow. It does take a while to get served which can be very frustrating.

No matter what time of the day you come here it’s always “very busy” I.e understaffed every time. Over the years this place hasn’t changed I’ve always given it the benefit of the doubt, but I never learn, DONT GO HERE, unless you want cold food that you’ve waited 30 mins for 👍🏼

Short staffed, untidy & a lot of flies inside the restaurant, avoid the milkshakes its more air bubbles than a thick shake from other mac Donald's.

this was abysmal, all fries in the order were forgotten and instead they put an extra drink in the food bag turned up all the food soaking and drink spilling all over the carpet

The venue looks great, but the food was only luke-warm. They didn't close the bag and then walked around the carpark looking for me to deliver it. Close the bag to keep the warmth in!
