Never seems to improve. In my opinion this has to be the worst outlet. Food very often cold and the drive through is so bad 😭

Poor service, arrogant staff, takes ages to get a basic order out.

As McDonald’s go, this one is actually pretty smart. It’s clean, modern, and the addition of table service gives it a touch of class – or at least as much class as you can expect when ordering a McChicken Sandwich. The real selling point here is the soft play. If you’ve got little ones, it’s a game-changer. You can sip your coffee in relative peace while they burn off their Happy Meal energy scrambling around. It’s basically a win-win: you get a moment to breathe, they get to play, and nobody has to deal with the dreaded phrase “I’m bored.” That said, at the end of the day, it’s still a McDonald’s. The menu’s the same as anywhere else, and the dining experience still involves a mix of family chaos, the faint aroma of fries, and the occasional ketchup packet on the floor. If you’re in Maidstone and need a quick bite with the added bonus of a kid-friendly play area, this is a great shout. Just don’t expect fine dining – it’s McDonald’s, not Michelin.

Terrible service and food. Ordered and waited for two and a half hours, then arrived completely wrong! Two meals completely missing, rest of order burgers made wrong, all food cold, sauce and fillings added to burgers that were not requested. Never using again! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

Appalling management. They'll keep taking the orders despite the car park being full of people waiting. After 25 minutes still nothing. No receipt. No food. Still willingly taking more orders and no sign of our order. Staff aimlessly wandering to try and find the right car.

Out of the many McDonald’s I have experienced in the past and present, this is probably the most persistently inconsistent fast food place in Southeast Kent. The drive through is extremely slow and always has been. The service inside is also very slow. The food seems as if it has sat there for an hour. It is cold and dry and the milkshake was warm and can be finished in 8-10 sips. I used to get brain-freeze from how cold they used to be. Not anymore. This place needs a rethink.

We can’t remember the last time we used the drive thru, and didn’t have to wait sometimes up to 25 mins for our food to be run out to us by a member of staff - one mentioned it is due to delivery orders !!

Not worth any stars as drive through service pathetic. I thought Drive thru meant drive thru and collect your food, not pay, drive thru and park up for 15mins and wait until we bring it over.

Service was poor, waited over half an hour for chips and three pieces of meat. Went there with my friend who ordered a meal as well and had to wait even longer for hers. On top of that they forgot to add two of her items. Couldn’t even go back because we’d miss our train again and with their rate, probably wait another 30 minutes. A horrible end to our day. The least they could have done was make sure all the food ordered was there. Oh and the chips were literally THROWN into the bag. All that time and they couldn’t even pack it properly. It’s a pity I can’t give zero stars.

Food was cold , delivered 7.20pm , but my meals were made 6.23pm … absolutely diabolical! Order placed 5.40pm , took 2 hours to get the food and stone cold …

Absolutely appalling, always takes 1.5-2 hrs to prepare delivery orders . Never on time , sauce dips usually missing although been ordered.

Waiting time at this particular branch is frankly appalling, having to wait 30 minutes for a coffee is unacceptable

Shocking place, I'd taken my grandchildren bowling and then they asked if they could have a McDonald's, what a mistake, ordered the food and then waited for my number to come up on the screen, I then joined a mob of people who had been waiting for absolutely ages for their food, there was people demanding their money back, there was people who's orders were wrong and I don't mean the odd person, there was lots , my food came up and we sat at a table and then released that out of 5 of us 2 of our meals were missing so back to the carnage and complained about the missing food which was the got by a very harassed looking young man, the food was lukewarm and like cardboard,I felt like eating the packaging instead. Never again.

Service was good but fries were hard and only just warm burger was stone cold. Not just this McDonald's but seems to be all McDonald's these days, most of the burgers look like they've been made from 100yards. Please at least make it look like the burgers you're buying.

Took 3 1/2 hours to arrive, when it did finally arrive it was so cold it may aswell of been frozen. Also was missing several items!!! Restaurant not answering the phone either. Absolute joke

our "promo pie" has a nice little sticker on the back saying " made 13:37, ready 13:47, discard 15:07"...we ordered our food after 17:00. why are you selling customers food that has been sitting there for over 3 hours?

McDonald's used to be the go-to place for a cheeky burger as it was like an SAS operation, in and out, and done the job before you know it, but sadly this is not the case anymore, it's no longer the king of fast food as there is literally nothing fast about it anymore. Gone are the days of a quick 5 minute outing it's more of a 30-1hr job, and all you was waiting for was a big mac and fries. It seems like they have too many fingers in pies these days, drive thru deliveries, and walk in customers that they can no longer provide a fast food service. I'm sorry, McDonald's, but I'm not mclovin' it anymore

All my food arrived cold , reported that to just eat and I get 20% back of account credit , I spent nearly £30 on this order to receive £5 back for ordering stone cold food which couldn’t be eaten .

I literally watched on the map the driver drive around town for what looked like forever just round and round in circles and then when he finally got here to deliver my food it was open and freezing cold like it had never been cooked sort your drivers out

I will not be ordering from McDonald’s hart street Maidstone again every time I have ordered there is bits missing either fix up or get a new driver so angry.

Received the wrong order, driver was less than helpful and didn't even want to listen to us, when he has to physically pick up the order and clearly picked up the wrong one as that was the only order he had. I have now lost out on £36 worth of food and he said ours was delivered when he refused to take it back and get the correct order. Get drivers that can actually read and actually care they have done something wrong.

This must be the absolute worst McDonald's in Maidstone. All the employees have zero motivation and no customer service skills. One to avoid, best to venture into the town centre.

McDonald's is McDonald's, it's not a brilliant restaurant for service and speed but the food is what you expect and the added bonus of having a drive through when you're hangry and need something there and then to stop the inner food monster from breaking out.

Messed order up, hardly any filling making burgers really dry, no salt on cold chips, put ice in a drink specifically stating no ice and forgot dip!

Last time using this McDonalds! Always have to park up for 20min waiting for a Drive through order. When it arrives the order always has items missing usually the sauces. Food majority of the time is cold unless its a Mcflurry which ironically tends to be liquid.

Where do I start…. Today! (16/10/2024) is the release of the McRib, a day to look forward, I hoped. So, I ordered a drive through collection, and made my way to the post and was greeted, I spoke to the employee and stated I had a code to give for the order, he responded with I don’t know what that is (perhaps he was a trainee) so eventually he came back to me and asked for the code and I waited about 5mins until I made it to the payment window in which I was asked to pay! But I had already made my payment on the Mcds App. So I stated once again that I had paid via the app and he told me to move to the next window, after waiting another 5mins, I eventually made it and was given the wrong order and I stated that it was wrong and the lady behind the window demanded it my order and had to show the lady the order via the app which I shouldn’t have to do. After another few mins of waiting I finally received my McRib. Now the review of the McRib, it was abysmal, a flaccid piece of “rib” that I highly doubt was real meat, the buns were cold like they’ve been in a fridge and I pretty sure it was supposed to have onions but none were present. It honestly reminded me of the Rib burger you can by from Ruslter, and that’s arguably better tasting.

Literally no hyperbole or anything still waiting an hour after ive ordered to get my food. Edit - Took me 1 hr 10 mins to get my food, they told me to wait in carpark and just forgot about my order, their system didn't even have it anymore. No joke the worst McDonald's experience I've had ever. It takes a lot to be the worst of 20 years of eating McDonald's to be the worst but this does it.

Went here around 2 weeks ago and decided to go inside as we had around 30 mins spare before we had to be somewhere. Food took over 30 minutes, seemed like everyone was getting angry with waiting. Food eventually came after asking staff where it was, obviously missing a burger from a meal that we had ordered. Staff had no sense of urgency for anything or anyone. Will not visit this mc Donald’s again!! Absolute diabolical for somewhere that is suppose to be “fast food”

Got given the wrong burger - which my son now cannot eat as he’s allergic to cheese.

Worst ever! 1:30pm about 10 cars parked up from drive through we was asked to park up 20mins later food cam asked to check before he left 2x chips a burger and all drinks missing asked for sauce for 6 meals given 2 asked for at leat 1 per meal she gave me 4 total I said we have 6 she had the hump and went through our meals to see if we can have 1 each. After 20mins wait for the 1st lot then 10mins for the missing lot it was cold and disgusting tasted dirty.

ordered at 6:50pm delivered around 8:30pm. I had a 5 year old with me so not too happy. Food was freezing when it arrived had to put it in the air fryer to reheat it all. NOT delivery mans fault.
