Good selection of shop made chocolate Bought “animal “ shaped chocolates which the granddaughter enjoyed.

We had a wee browse round McNees and were very taken with the selection of hand made chocolates .There is something for everyones taste we ended up with Creme Brulee Truffles and Salted Carmel Truffles ,not cheap but superb quality . We got home and realised we would have to go back up soon . Great ideas for gifts and with christmas only 4 months away a few foodie presents would be a good idea.

Always drop in when we are in Crieff ,I do not understand the last reviews we have always had good service . The shop is a cornucopia of culinary delights ,we particularily like the Pasteis de Natas. A good selection of pies and cakes and sweets

A very unwelcoming shop with 2 very dour faced owners Unwell from the pastry wrapped sausages as the sausages were not cooked and almost raw and pastry was under done. I would not recommend this shop and there is nothing artisan about it

You would have thought that following a downturn in business following COVID 19 this establishment would have welcomed visitors. Not a bit of it if the attitude of the lady working there was anything to go by. She was rude, unwelcoming and surly. I live reasonably locally but I’ll certainly not return. I came out of the shop feeling as though I’d done something wrong even though I’d just spent money.

For a town that supposedly welcomes tourists, after the short drive from Larbert, our brief visit to this shop was highly disappointing. Utterly rude staff - I base that comment solely on the interaction with the lady who served me a couple of (actually not great) venison sausage rolls. My wife enquires about gluten free food (quietly). Obviously an extremely insulting question - we took our custom down the road to the l, altogether more civil Crieff Food Company - who, perish the thought, appeared to realise that basic manners are worth the effort. I'm unsure whether it was the question, the fact it was asked too quietly (due to wearing a mask) or the fact that it was asked with a Spanish accent that led to my wife experiencing such rudeness when I had not. Doesn't matter - we won't be back.

Not cheap, but fantastic pie and savouries and great food to go. Personal service. A real deli and well worth a visit.

This well stocked shop and Deli always has something new to tempt us ,this time it was the Pork sausage and red onion rolls........delightfull , I wish we had bought more . There is a very good range of chocolates in the shop as well as sandwiches and Baguettes made up as you wait

I visit Crieff on a regular basis and always pop in for and filled Ciabatta with Cheese, Ham and Salad, It really is the best ! While I am there I am always temped by the beautiful displays and never leave with one item ! Pop in if you are in Crieff - it is a fantastic deli !

As usual when we visit we buy a lot of the irresistible foodstuffs and sweeties . This is a well stocked shop with lots of pastries,cheeses pies and olive oils . The staff are friendly and helpful . Great if you are looking for wee presents for friends as well

We are regular visitors to Crieff saddend by its ongpjng demise. You would think surviving businesses would be gojng out of their way to be friendly. The lady making the sandwiches barely spoke. The grumpy man at the till didnt speak other than to say "£9.50" No please No thank you for coming in......nothing. Guess what...we wont be going again

This is one of those Delis where you go in looking for something,get it then pick up amazing stuff you had not known you needed . It certainly has a great selection but it is far more than a chocolatier This is a real find for lovers of good food We left with armfuls of presents for Christmas

When we visit family we always shop here. The selection of foods is very good, the quality excellent.

One of my favourites in Crieff. It had a great selection of fresh produce and is the perfect place to grab a last minute gift. The bread in particular has to be tried.

We love stopping here for fresh, full of flavour, different sandwiches. Made to order with good choice such as goats cheese, sweet chilly jam and Turkey yummy. We also had chocolate brownie was melted in the mouth. Great little shop to look round.

Muy buena selección de comidas interesantes que no encontrará en todas partes. Vi que también hicieron llevar sándwiches que parecía delicioso. . . .

Una joya en el centro de Crieff. No pase por ir y se sorprenderá! Desde chocolates a las salchichas, conservas - la lista es interminable. Los rollos de ciabatta son excelentes. Me pop en cada vez que estoy en Crieff. Personal excelente.

Had a takeaway lunch from here on two days, very tasty food, lovely staff. Highly recommended. Huge selection available with a convenient location. Don't go to a big chain, use a local shop.

This is a real find. The selection of foods from such a wide range in a small town is remarkable. The deli is outstanding.

Everything you buy here is quality. Beautiful sandwiches, a good selection of deli meats, beautiful freshly baked bread, pies and cakes. Hand made chocolates. Amazing gift parcels in various price ranges

A fine selection of cheese, bread, pies, meats, soups, olives, peppers, sauces, spices, chocolates and much much more not to mention the "Porker Pies" and the "Sausage Rolls" A great drop in for good quality nibbles.

They do some lovely chocolates to use as gifts for home and to eat on a cold night with your feet up watching the telly

Produce is incredible from McNees - everything is so freshly prepared and delicious! Try the smoked cheese, leek and bacon flan - amazing.

We came here on a recommendation in our holiday cottage manual to grab some things for dinner on our last night. I knew as soon as we walked in that this would be great. There are so many wonderful and unusual things to choose from. Foodies paradise! We went a bit crazy and bought about 6 cheeses, 2 breads, lots of salami, chocolate (of course) and some other bits. It was all absolutely delicious and so much nicer being that is it a thoughtful buy from a local business. I only wish I had had more time to browse the wonderful baking ingredients! If you give 24 hours notice they can do you up a lovely looking hamper too. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Recommend this wee place to anyone visiting Crieff. It would also be a great place to buy a gift for the foodie in your life.

We stayed at the Hydro but soon found this rather special place for picnic food and gifts to take home.Have never seen such an array of choice in all sections. Sandwiches for our picnic on Loch Earn quite the best especially the truffled ham, hand cut for each sandwich. Fabulous pies,sausage rolls and soup.

It is worth taking time to find a parking place to visit this splendid store. Well established but continuing to introduce new interesting products. Helpful, knowledgable staff.

We went to McNees a few times, great for pies and pastries. When you are in search for nice cheeses, this is te place to be. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Great range of excellent quality foods. The ready meals were particularly good - so much better than anything I could have cooked at home!

They do a great sandwich made to your wishes. There are some amazing pies and homenade cakes, a wide range of esoteric foods. a long with the usual deli stuff. There are more common items & home cooked meals If you're interested in food, looking for something different but of good quality it's worth venturing inside

Looking for a light lunch I stumbled upon this place on a Sunday Lunchtime. The road was being repaired and the noise and smell were frightful. McNees was a haven of calm with what I took to be the proprietor serving behind the counter. He was a little distant and sleepy and ambled up the shop towards the back while I explored. I asked for a sandwich and not having ever been in the place had no idea of the protocols. No bread he said just what you see! There were rolls or baps on the counter and a long list of suggested fillings. Quite overwhelming. I had a turkey and salami sandwich with salad and dressing, took it back to the car with a hot cup of tea from the little garage nearby. The sandwich was delicious. The filling was bursting out, tasty and satisfying. What a find! I will be back next time I am in Creiff.

The style and ambience of this place is superb. It has a real old fashioned feel to it and the range of foodstuffs on offer, particularly the pies etc, is top class.

Although the pies and pasties were truly lovely , we had bought some of the homemade chocolates which cost me £6.06 pence for 5 chocolates ive never been so disappointed they were truly horrible , would go back for the pasties pies , but stay away from the chocolates

A lovely shop full of intresting and delicious products. They have a small range of lovely home made pies, pasties and bakes, such as Cornish pasties, croissants and meat pies. There is a good selection of fresh meats and cheeses and lovely handmade chocolates. Well worth a look for a gift, or just something for yourself.

We visit here every year when we come in September and stock up with goodies. The quality of their food is superb and always have tempting goodies on the counter.

A real delicatessen , home made pies, chocolates and other delicacies. Fresh bread , pasties and all sorts of interesting foods. Go there hungry.

Mcnees used to be a really good delicatessen with take away lunches, soup/sandwiches, however with the economic downturn i have felt that they have gone down hill a bit. The chocolates i bought for christmas were truly awfull. I had bought quite a few boxes to give to friends, feedback was they tasted old and horrible. I have always supported local businesses but in this case, it wasnt good enough.....a real shame for crieff.

Definitely the place for food. We purchased some oatcakes and marmalade. Looking forward to trying them.

Super Deli in the heart of Crieff- they stock just about everything you could want, food wise, mostly local and of firts class quaility- tried their Mediterranean pies - an absolute delight. Want to go back.

Well stocked with the good things you might expect but with many more for those seeking something different. Fresh baked pastries and cakes. My sorrow is that they no longer have the pies that we would travel miles to buy. Clearly not often enough!

Love this shop, nice friendly staff and a lovely choice of everything from gorgeous chocolates and biscuits to homemade meals, sauces and salad dressings to spices and pasta not forgetting the lovely choice of cheeses,pates and ofcourse the cold meats! Something for everyone kind of shop!! Homemade pastries and scones are to die for!

This is our local deli,with many delights!Our family have enjoyed over 18 years of good,diverse,quality food from Steven and his wife.Now we have Fiona,their daughter,developing the business.Well worth a visit.

We visit each time we visit Crieff (twice each year, passing through to the Highlands) and browsing in this store is an education. Bread, pastry and cakes to die for. An excellent choice of deli food and so much more.

Not a restaurant. Great carry-out. Pasties are delicious. Scones, etc all fabulous. Pork pies are amazing. Ready cooked meals are also a lovely change. Shop is well stocked and definitely worth a visit. Everything fresh.
