Stayed at this hotel for business several times now and ate in the restaurant. Decent food for a hotel restaurant. Received friendly and attentive service from Freya.

We were staying at the hotel before a flight from Gatwick the following day, so got dinner in the restaurant. Service was great, really friendly lady on evening of 10/09 I'm so sorry I don't know her name! Food was also delicious, really well presented and generous portions. I had carbonara and it was lovely, really authentic! If we lived in the area we would absolutely come here for a meal without staying in the hotel. We also got breakfast here, its definitely on the expensive side... but nice food and a really good spread of items

We visited Dal Nonno for the first time and it was a surprise to see the welcoming and friendly atmosphere, considering we were also working in Italian restaurants many years ago, my husband and I, and it was always a pleasure to work in such restaurants - kind of Taverna family business. We were expecting the food to be just as recommended and as we know it, however, we were quite disappointed, because the food was tasteless. Maybe because it was a very busy night etc, but absolutely all dishes had no salt or pepper, or any condiments which add the taste to a dish. I appreciate that you may add salt and pepper to each ones taste, however, when pasta has a dull taste, it's not called authentic Italian food. The Calzone Pizza was filled with whole ham slice(s) and mozzarella ( I think), tasteless again, and texture like chewing gum. It was just as you make a sandwich, put ham and cheese, then you toast it. And it did not look like Calzone, but more like a folded pitta bread. Friendly service, a bit rushed, absolutely all tables booked and noisy indeed ( but that's just how 'tavernas' can be). Hope you can do better and good luck! Best regards

Another great experience at Prezzo. Staff were friendly, food was lovely and we had a lovely experience. This has become one of our favourite restaurants

Visited in a group of 7 on Saturday night at peak time of 7.30. The place was full however we had first class service from Angus who was attentive to our needs and clearly happy in his job - nothing was too much trouble for him. Multiple different choices for starters and mains but all arrived smoothly and together. My meat balls starter and the main of chianti pasta ragu were both delicious. We had a good table in a corner away from the hustle and bustle which meant that we could all chat during our birthday celebrations - Zizzi were very happy to serve the birthday cake that we took along and Angus was pretty good with his singing of Happy Birthday. 5 star and highly recommended.
