I think we've eaten here half a dozen times now since we've moved nearby and this place is always outstanding. Love the pork egg fried rice, pork chow mein, Singapore style noodles, mini rolls, and crispy duck. So good. Absolute lifesavers since we don't have a kitchen yet. I also always have plenty for lunch the next day which is a huge help! Owners are so sweet. It is cash only but there's a 24/7 atm next to the post office in Melbourne.

Went there at 10pm, it closed while the menu said opened till 10:30pm.

Recommended by friends. Enjoyed the food but disappointed that they only take cash( I wonder why?).Luckily I had sufficient.

Best Chinese I've had in ages only thing i would like is when ordering a duck curry is that the duck is just put on top of the curry and not mixed so the duck is cold by the time you get it

The vegetable and mushroom curry with boiled rice is cooked to perfection. A spicy and hot sauce is perfect. A large portion and good value aswell. Very happy helpful staff too. A good take~away to visit. Thankyou

Had many a takeaway from here and never a bad experience whatever we’ve ordered. Great to have such an efficient and bl**dy tasty place in the area. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.

Very much disappointed after being attracted by internet comments. Ribs with half of them all fat, didnt bother to trim it off. Beef as thick and big as steak saving time to cut, special fried rice or anything called special but no king prawns which cost most... ridiculously low price which can only be achieved by compromise in food materials. I used to work in catering before retiring. I know. It is in a very good location in Melbourne and Mrs. Mach the boss told me it is the only Chinese takeaway in Melbourne. No matter why my friends in Melbouene are willing pay much higher price to buy chinese takeaway in Allenton. It will get more customers from Melbourne if it put up its price 30-40% higher (for better quality materials) as normal price in Allenton. People will have greater confidence in it. Also don't shout at your old worker who looks over 80 in age but is being forced to work. Money is not everything.

An excellent service with very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of menu choice and the availability to create your own take on dishes if you would like to try something a little different. The service is very efficient. Telephone orders are taken. There is parking outside and the shop is on a small industrial estate within the village.

Food always tastes amazing and good prices

My husband and I have been a customer for over 20 years. Unfortunately, we didn't feel well after a meal on two Saturdays ago when it was very hot. The chicken and onions tasted odd, a bit of sour. This is not the first time as it happened quite often in the past hot summers. The problem is that the shop is too small for being a takeaway and it hasn't got space for a big chill open cabinet to keep meats and ingredients at refrigeration temperature. All the meats and ingredients are put uncovered on preparation table as everyone can see it in the open kitchen. I'll still travel for over 10 miles to buy Chinese meals from Melbourne as its price is very very good.
