A real find. The Pork Chop Saltimbocca was amazing. The others had homemade pasta, and all really loved it. Highly recommended will be back.

The food is very delicious but the staff is very rude. I can see that the kitchen is closing at 9:00 pm and once we’ve arrived the staff told us that the kitchen is closing 8:45 pm and only we can order pizza and pasta and I have arrived at 8:39 pm.

Authentic Italian restaurant in London! 🍕🇮🇹 We entered this restaurant by chance and we couldn't have been more successful. The atmosphere was super calm and the service impeccable. The food felt totally Italian. We tried the diavola pizza and the maffaldini. Everything was spectacular. We recommend it 100%.

Awesome service lovely food very pleasant venue

We came as a family and the staff managed to find us a table despite the fact that we had not reserved. The meal was very good and plentiful. However, the staff lacks courtesy and sympathy. We had to eat at the speed of light and were sent away after the meal... which spoiled the setting of the restaurant a little, which nevertheless remained very pretty and pleasant.

This was our first visit to Mele e Pere and we found everything delightful. Pizzas were good and I'd second the review that said the Carbonara is the best, though I would add that my other favourite, Tiramisu, was out of this world :-) The service was attentive and the prices good. Certainly won't be our last time there.

Mele & Pere is a fantastic restaurant in the middle of Soho. I have been many times and never been let down. The food is fabulous, service great, atmostphere lovely and its all you could want in a real restaurant serving real food for real people.

We popped in here to get out of the rain and just have drinks at the small bar upstairs. Then decided to have dinner there. There are a few tables on the ground level, but when you go downstairs, there’s a large open dining area with lots of tables. My friends ordered pizzas that were very good. I went with the pasta, which was also good were mid range not too expensive. Service was great. An excellent place to catch a meal.

Celebrated a friend's birthday and had the best time! The staff were friendly and the place had a vibrant and joyous vibe it it. I had pork which was a little bit tough but everyone else enjoyed their meal! Would definitely go again!

This is a hidden gem. Went for a friend's birthday and it was perfect! Staff were friendly and there was a jovial happy cosyvibe which contrasted with the heavy rains outside. Everyone enjoyed their food although my pork was a little tough. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Came here for a drink during Cocktail Week and enjoyed it so booked for my birthday lunch with my family. Food was excellent, the servers were so good, unobtrusive but supportive, very accommodating of my 1.5yr old niece who was fascinated by the stairs. I had added a note for some space in case we needed to put the pram next to the table and they gave us a great table witu plenty of room. Couldn't recommend it enough. We didn't feel rushed or ignored. Would book again.

Don’t you love it when you book a restaurant for the first time and it turns out to be somewhere you’ll want to go back to and recommend to your friends and family! Instantly felt a good vibe. Staff were super attentive and genuine. Would have been happy to stumble across this place in Italy. Glad I was talked out of booking a more expensive option.

Amazing second experience! We were 4 and the food was outstanding! The carbonara and Fregola (Vegan) were absolutely incredible. My bf ordered pizza and as an Italian, he was very impressed and he quoted 'finaly a good Italian pizza in London'. The manager- Fulvio, 2ent extra mile to provide an outstanding service and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Really recommend it! We love it!

Very good address in Soho. Homemade pasta and fresh, very tasty products, we ate very well and the wine was also delicious. A large room at -1, quite noisy and a few quieter tables on the ground floor, the owner gives you the choice. Alright !

Booked for a pre-matinee lunch on an Open Table deal / recommendation -£25 for 3 courses and a glass of fizz. Very impressed; not sure how you beat this for value in Soho / theatreland. Nice room downstairs, welcoming & attentive (but not fussy) service, good food from a decent menu choice. Perfect for what we wanted. Oh, and the name…”apples & pears”? Nice touch :-)

Bolognese tagliatelle and carbonara were amazing. Pizza Napoli was great as well but it looked like the bottom was a little bit burnt but maybe that's just my taste. Food came quickly as well and the service was friendly. It was quiet when we went in but quickly got busy. Generous portion of burrata for the burrata starter.

Me and my girlfriend often go here to celebrate an occasion, and have returned many times because of how fantastic the food is. My girlfriend is coeliac (gluten free) and they have extensive gluten free options, as well as a good wine list and a great ambiance. Would highly recommend!

This was an unexpected gem. Very accommodating staff, they were great with the recommendations & thoughtful. The foccacia was a great to start the experience, really tasty. The duck ragu and carbonara were 👌 and the Tiramasu was 🔥🔥🔥. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Shoutout to Nicola, our waiter.

My daughter, husband and I, came on 31st October for the pre-theatre lunch and it was fabulous! Excellent service and attentive staff. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. We don't visit London that often but would recommend to anyone and we will definitely return.

We had the pre theatre set menu and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and value for money. It was a Wednesday afternoon and not too busy so didn't feel rushed. Glad we went early as could see it was starting to fill up as we left. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were back for the 3rd time to that restaurant and we tried the pizza this time but we were not that impressed at all for an Italian restaurant and their pizza quality . We also booked a deal 3 courses and Prosecco on here but no one acknowledge that and no one offered us the Prosecco. We sat down 25mn before someone offered a drink other than the water on arrival. So it was ok , not all bad but probably won’t come back a 4th time.

Italian restaurant. A very homemade meal and it shows that they work with very good quality products. The pizzas are very delicious and with sourdough. The service could improve a little to give them 10/10. Make a reservation.

Went for a pre-theatre meal before seeing the matinee of Moulin Rouge. We both had the 3 course lunch at £22.50 each and a bottle of sparkling water. Excellent value for money and generous portions. We both had the meatballs to start, I had the Margherita pizza, my partner the tagliatelli ragu and then both of us finished with the Affogato. Service charge is added to the bill. Would definitely go back and spend more time in there. A gem of a proper Italian restaurant owned and run by them ☺️

Honestly you pay too much for what you eat ! Watery and untested pasta dishes, not recommended you waste your money! Overcrowded and unpleasant stay!

Don’t believe all the other reviews, they lie!! Okay there’s a reason why this place had a booking available on Friday night. Pasta was not good…the carbonara was very soupy. They had salt and pepper on the table which also is a tell tale sign for a tourist shop. Tourists nor locals should eat here. However ambiance was nice, we had a corner table where it wasn’t that loud. Service was also not good, they seemed quite annoyed.

The atmosphere was romantic and quiet, this restaurant was suitable for fine dining or group gatherings. The location was very convenient, where close to the theaters and Piccadilly. We ordered 3 courses from the London Restaurant Festival menu, it was perfect. The starter & main course were delicious, especially the squid with chili & cherry tomato sauce.

This has been on my list for a few years now and never got to dine here until August 2024. Unfortunately it was disappointing - ordered the steak medium-well which came out rare and couldn't eat it but they didn't charge us. The other meals were ok. Wouldn't rush back.

Had dinner on Saturday night. While the restaurant is cute, the person that took the drinks and food order was rude and seemed like we were unconvincing them. The food was very average as the pizza crust was very hard and the chips we ordered tasted and looked like they were cooked at least 3 times before. The pasta was okay. Based on my experience, it is not a place I would recommend.

The waiters are a bit busy turning tables, but are otherwise extremely polite and professional. The dishes are very different, but exude real Italian. To that extent, taste is paramount here.

The food overall was average. I chose the two-course menu, but the bruschetta was poorly prepared, and the pasta wasn’t cooked in the authentic Italian style. It felt more like an American take on Italian cuisine.

Really had a good experience here. Thought this maybe slightly more bar than restaurant vibe just due to large vermouth menu but the food really did deliver. The highlights were the duck ragu with truffle and definitely the Fiorentina steak. The staff were great. They let us take our time and enjoy ourselves. Most places do have really specific table turn around but they let us have fun and enjoy it. Would definitely recommend

Pre theatre menu is excellent value and generous portions. We were short on time but the efficient service meant that we had time for two courses and a few drinks without feeling overly rushed. Our waitress Virginia was superb! We will definitely visit again. 😊

The noise level was not the best. a lot of noise from e.g. a very drunken table who sat and sang loudly and shouted. The food was really good and very large portions = value for money.

We live one minute from this sweet spot. Every time we’ve dined there Bogdana has been there and makes it like walking into a home. We like to sit at the bar and have tried many of the menu items. Their pizza is yummy, the butter lettuce salad is huge and delicious. I mention Bogdana because she always has a sense of humor, a great smile and completely gets customer service! This is our go-to place, amazing bolognese sauce!

The focaccia is sooo good! I also like my main dish which was the pasta with duck ragu and truffle, it’s rich but yummy. I didn’t try any desserts as I was so full after the pasta but I bet they are good too. Nice atmosphere and waiters were all very polite!

I highly recommend this place,especially for The Gin lovers. Having a shot of Monkey 47 and a cup of black Americano I finally cooled down after long overseas flight. Of course I couldn't resist either my favorite Gin Mare...and something told me to order pizza prosciutto rucola together with fizzled green beans with garlic and chili peppers combined with San Marzano tomato Tropea onion&basil salad.That was real food symbiosis...

Nice atmosphere. Good food and service. I ordered carbonara, and it was nice but a bit much peper and salti think, according to my personal taste. The only thing that i didn't appreciate it was that they kept asking me if i was finished, i felt a bit pressured, and i couldn't relax to enjoy my meal slowly as i wanted.

Amazing set menu and bubble ! You can’t go wrong. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed our food. Staff may need more training to do the job as I doubt our waiter was ever a waiter before that day , so it was a bit meh service wise but I guess there is always a start. None the less we will defo be back for that pre theatre amazing deal. Thank you

I had some tasty food and a nice glass of wine. Portion sizes were good, not too much. I think it would have been nicer downstairs, we were a bit squashed in a corner upstairs. Overall it was a nice meal and experience.

The pre-theatre is a fantastic bargain - especially if you book online and get a glass of bubbles included! However, the service was slow given how busy the place was - it took 40 mins to prep our main. They did offer a discount to compensate for this which is nice. Very convenient to see Moulin Rouge after!
