Thank you so much for a lovely birthday experience. Amazing food, warm and intimate atmospheric and really kind staff. I cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back again.

The food is delicious and perfectly served by the lovely people working here. Wonderful place to eat and drink.

Food was delicious and great value for money. We came in on a Thursday for lunch, ordered the lunch set menu where you can get a starter and a main or a main and a dessert for (I believe) £15.99? It's a great deal and the food was lovely. My husband ordered the calamari for starters and then the lamb tagliatelle for his main. I ordered the antipasto for one and a lemon chicken risotto. Although I did like the antipasto, it wasn't anything special and it did feel like the ingredients were all from Tesco or your local grocery store....which is fine but they do market themselves as authentic and getting the meats, olives and salad from Tesco does not scream authentic. We were the only ones in the restaurant along with an old man who was sat 2 tables away from us and he only ordered a beer so there's not really an excuse why the food should take long but it did....They said they had to change the oil for their calamari, which would take 10 minutes, but I'm confused on why they didn't do this earlier before they opened or when they opened as we were there around 11:40am and they opened 11am. It's not a big deal but we were on a time crunch. Overall, it was nice and we would go again but it wouldnt be on the top of our list to come back to.

Visted Mezzaluna for the first time with family for a Birthday meal. Lamb dish was delicious, chicken wings and cheesy garlic bread was excellent! The team are extremely friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our visit was a special one! Highly recommend for those special occasions 5*

Me and my wifes favourite place to go, the steak is always perfectly cooked and the peppercorn sauce is excellent

Great food - lovely service Would return

First time here, manageress was not very welcoming didn’t even smile when speaking to us. Could’ve been the filler in her face. The young girls serving were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough. Starters were lovely then the main course barely any meat on the lamb tagliatelle non of my other friends were best pleased about the main apart from one who had the chicken dish. I had a bad tummy after mine. I’m sorry I don’t think it was worth the money and not a great meal so I wouldn’t recommend sorry.

There were 18 of us for a birthday party on Saturday, not my booking, great atmosphere, food came all at the same time, which was a feet in itself. loved every minute of it, food was amazing. thanks so much to the staff as we were a bit noisy as hadn’t seen each other for a while, will definitely be going back.

Went back again last night 28th Sept. Very busy and the waiting staff were great. Food delish. I had King Prawn starter followed by seafood spaghetti. Husband had garlic bread and pizza. All cooked fresh and very tasty. You can see why this restaurant us very popular. We'll done staff.

I had my hen night party in the back room of mezalluna. The room is already beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant! Lovely restaurant all round.

The staff were incredibly.sweet and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The prawn cocktail was lovely.and the subsequent Salmon that was a replacement dish. Sadly the lamb was very dry and chewy. Indelible. When a complaint was made we were told 'its just the cut of meat. We can replace with a different thing off the menu but the next one will be the same. So perhaps buying a better quality of meat might be a good idea. The risotto was really tasty, but overshadowed with way too much garlic. The lemon, which was what I was excited about, was too subtle with the garlic. A little less garlic and a little more lemon and the risotto would be perfect. I feel reluctant to try again, which is a shame because the staff could not have been nicer and its a restaurant close to home. Perhaps the more traditional dishes taste better.

If you want to feel like you're on holiday in some Mediterranean restaurant, whilst in the heart of Bedminster, this is the place....beautiful food, great decor, attentive staff and chilled music ....

Recommended to us by family. 8 of us had meal for my brother's birthday in lovely garden room at rear. From moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel very welcome, very polite, efficient and professional staff. Good choice of food menu and large portions. Every one of us enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent and service charge is not automatically added, it is your option what to leave. They gave my brother a chocolate pudding with a candle in for his birthday. A very nice gesture Will definitely return with others.

amazing food and immaculate service, highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal on a night out

I've had lots of friends who have been here lots of times and always rave about the food, however I live in Kingswood so not close but decided to try tonight with a friend. I was very happy with our experience, seated quickly and drinks order put in immediately which is always good. I ordered the lemon chicken risotto and it was lovely, so so tasty. My friend had moussaka and also was very pleased. We shared a side of fries and house salad which were both lovely also. I struggled to choose off the menu as everything sounded so nice. It was my friends birthday and they played birthday music which was a nice touch. I was impressed with the outside area, very Instagramable. Will def be returning.

This place is shocking. We turned up 2.5 hours before the closing time listed online & on their opening time board outside the restaurant, and was made to feel uncomfortable & rushed. As soon as we’d finished our mains, there was no offer of dessert menu, instead they just brought over the bill and stated they needed to close the till (1 hour before the restaurant closed). The waitress behind the bar kept looking at me, whilst I was trying to enjoy my drink. Also extremely unprofessional that whilst we were still sat down, all the staff were standing around getting ready to leave, clearly waiting for us to leave and making inappropriate comments. Food is overpriced for the quality, please look elsewhere for better priced food and staff that actually treat you like they want you to be there.

Food was average, it certainly did not match the prices though. Young staff serving and owner sat doing nothing whilst the young girls seemed very overwhelmed and forgetful

A surprising find. We were staying for a couple of nights in an air bnb and only came across Mezzaluna as we had done some shopping at the Tesco next door. We hadn’t booked but they found us a table on a busy Saturday evening. The interior and decor is basic, and the service although a little haphazard was charming and polite The Pasta was absolutely excellent and the pricing is reasonable If we return to Bristol we will return to Mezzaluna!

Tagliatelle Lamb and Pizza were delicious. Staff were very efficient dealing with two Christmas parties, and chefs were cheerfully busy, and very good at their work. Our party of about 17 of us all appeared to enjoy our varied meals.

I have visited Mezzaluna on a number of occasions. I have always found the restaurant very warm and welcoming. It is spotlessly clean! All of the staff, including the owner Oz, are extremely friendly and helpful, and the service is great. The pizzas are delicious and the chicken pasta dish is 1st class!! I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant and I will definitely be visiting again very soon!

Quality, family Italian restaurant. Local vibes, good wine, a tad pricey but the food was excellent. The pasta dishes are very well made. Simple and fresh.

Awful service. Made to feel like an annoyance. We had absolutely no table service, we had to approach the bar to order food/drinks and pay upfront whilst other tables were served at the table and billed after. Made us feel like they couldn't trust us. Women behind the bar just stood there barking orders at the young lad who was running around. The woman is the most miserable and rude person I have seen in a long time. My partner wanted plain tomato spaghetti, something he has eaten there many times. She was making a point out of being awkward and argumentative. Out comes a bowl of plain spaghetti with nothing on it. It was as if she was trying to go out of her way to upset us or as if it was a joke when we asked her to change it. A member of our group approached her and asked her if we had done something to offend her as she needs to brush up on her service skills And how her approach was incredibly disrespectful. I couldn't even finish my meal because she was laughing at us from behind the bar. It was very off putting. We have spent lots of money here in the past. Something we will never be doing here ever again. Zenas across the road is better in every way!

Me and my girlfriend went there for food the Staff were very nice and professional and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The price was good and food worth it. The staff even let us have a takeaway box so we can enjoy our spare food instead of it going to waste.

Ordered fresh Focaccia, ended up with 3 slices of normal bread (my bread machine makes it waaaay better better!) - sprinkled with Olive Oil, , EXCESSIVE salt and DRY Rosmarin - [ FYI ONLY- genuine Italian food is served with FRESH ingredients!!] You can buy for a pound from FRESH rosemary from Tesco’s next door to your restaurant and use it for like 50 slices of bread, or what you call “focaccia” !! Price doubtlessly is rip-off, and I bet the rest of the food if I would have ordered anything else,, it would’ve been nothing, but a disaster for sure and nowhere, near genuine Italian food - run away from these Cowboys! The “Italian chef” I could see cooking, was wiping his forehead of sweat with bear hand, and continue to complete his dishes. Went for a mid week dinner, sat through the back which is a lovely setting. Starters and mains were delicious, and the team were super lovely. Thank you!

Delicious pasta dish. So flavoursome. Perfect lunch. Fantastic quality of Chardonnay and superb, friendly service.

Went with 6 friends for one of their anniversary meals on a Friday evening. Pretty quiet for a Friday night. Good service and polite staff. We all had a mixture of dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy theirs. My lasagna was lovely and fresh with garlic bread and side of fries. However, my husband’s was not so good. It looked like it had been dropped or someone had been eating at it. The bottom was dried out & crusty. The fries over done. It’s a pity he had a poor dish as the rest of us were happy with ours.

Vegetarian Moussaka was delicious. Great price offer on 2 course meal :) Friendly and attentive staff. Pleasure to dine.

Horrible owner! Look at the reviews of this man’s aggression, upset our table when we queried why food was taking so long with our large table with several children who were getting really fed up. Two hours to send our food out. Small walk in tables were seated, served and finished with the bill paid before we had a starter. Will never go back.

Management are rude and arrogant OZZIE/OZZY should be ashamed of himself and the way he treats customers and staff! Not doing food in ticket order meaning large tables are left HOURS waiting for food people who ordered over an hour after were served their food before us then instead of dealing with the situation he stood in the kitchen allowing young ladies to deal with it even after repeatedly asking to speak to him direct. This is not how a successful business should be run.

Ruined my daughters birthday and our family Father’s Day celebration. Horrible and AGGRESSIVE manager. Waited an hour and a half for our pizzas. Took 25 minutes before anyone asked for a drink order. We politely asked to speak to the manager after two hours of being messed about with four young children. Manager refused to come out. When we did approach him, his immediate response was to shout aggressively at us. He then stormed off. We just paid £200 for drinks, a few pizzas and a burger that took two hours. I am horrified at the way this man treated his staff and patrons. He caused upset and spoiled our evening. Shameful.

Waited 25 minutes for a drink order and only got served then as we asked. Ordered food for a table of 11 including 4 young children after 40 minutes. We waited an hour for our order (which we again had to chase) whilst watching other tables who came in after us, order drinks and food, eat and drink and leave again whilst we still had nothing. Asked 3 times to speak to the owner/manager. I then clarified with the staff, who advised he was refusing to speak to us. He could clearly be seen where we were sat just chatting to the kitchen staff I went to the kitchen hatch and asked why he would not speak to me. To sumerise "we should be grateful he was working on Fathers Day when he has not seen his children". There was me thinking thats a personal choice when you decide to buy and run a restaurant that earns you a lot of money that you may work unsociable hours. My advice would be choose a different restaurant with an owner who treats his customers with the respect they deserve in a timely manner.

I gave 1 star because the food was good. But the owner it's the most disrespectful, disgusting person I've seen. He shouting loud in middle of the restaurant at his employees(waiters), he shouts and screams all the time in the kitchen. I had an very disturbing dinner with my family there in last weekend. The food was ok, but I will not go there again ever !!!

Great little neighborhood restaurant with delicious Italian food and takeaway pizza that I've tried several times. They also do roasts on Sunday, but I wasn't a big fan of these so probably won't try that again. The restaurant is great for big groups as they have benches along the wall and can do long tables. The waiting staff are good, especially the skinny girl with a dark bob (sorry I don't know your name, but you do a great job), she's been very attentive whenever I've had her serve my table
