I had an incredible dining experience at Mezze restaurant, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Arabic cuisine. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that felt just like home. The mezze platter was a perfect start – the hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel were all incredibly fresh and flavorful. The star of the meal, though, was the mixed grill. The lamb was tender, the chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the kebabs were bursting with flavor. Each dish was rich in spices and truly captured the essence of traditional Arabic cooking. We ended the meal with Kunafah and mint tea, which were the perfect sweet and refreshing finish. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable given the quality and authenticity of the food. The service was excellent throughout, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed.

I recently dined at MEZZE RESTAURANTS with a group of 30 people, and I can’t praise this place enough! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely lovely. Organizing such a large group can be tricky, but the staff handled it with ease, ensuring that everyone felt welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect for our gathering—warm, inviting, and spacious enough to accommodate our group comfortably. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was beautifully presented. We tried a wide variety from the menu, and everyone was raving about their meals, from the flavorful starters to the main courses. The highlight for many of us was the PLATTERS which was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. Even with such a large group, the staff were attentive, efficient, and incredibly friendly, ensuring that drinks were topped up and that all our requests were promptly met. They even managed to serve us all at the same time, which is impressive for such a large party! Overall, MEZZE RESTAURANT provided a fantastic dining experience for our group, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for any special occasion or large gathering. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning! I have visited Mezze Restaurant several times, and each time was an unforgettable experience! The food is absolutely amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that reflect the richness and diversity of Syrian cuisine. From appetizers like hummus and mutabbal to main courses like kebabs, grilled meats, and, of course, the irresistible shawarma prepared authentically with incredible flavor. I just came back from a holiday in an Arab country and then tried this food. This was a culinary experience the flavours were sensational, the rice and meats were cooked to perfection. I booked Mezze restaurant for a gathering of 30 people, but it was a complete disappointment. They clearly lacked the capacity and manpower to handle a group of this size. The entire experience was disorganized, and the service was far below acceptable standards. Whenever we asked for anything, the staff responded with rudeness and unprofessional behavior, making us feel unwelcome. It was as though we were inconveniencing them simply by being there. To top it off, their kunafah, which we were looking forward to, was a total disaster – poorly prepared and unappetizing. Overall, the experience felt like we were begging for food rather than being paying customers. I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore, especially for larger groups. Their attitude and service need serious improvement.

Bad management, not enough staff. We were a big group of 33 and had reservations already made for 25 of us ahead of time. Tables weren't timely or properly being set with plates, cutlery and tissue. They kept missing half the room and then would react badly when asked about it. I understand being asked about the same issue multiple times by different people is annoying but there was good reason. The food came and was sub-par at best with people even fishing raw chicken wings. Our drinks were bought to us half way through our already challenging meal only after a lot of asking and they weren't even the right drinks due to lack of inventory. We were given water and cups after we finishes eating only after further prodding which is a bit outrageous. Even when we tried ordering dessert we were shocked at their lack of inventory as we resolved ourselves to all sharing the few desserts they had left (3 pistachio chocolate cakes and 4 kunafe). Maybe the experience here is good in smaller groups but then why let us reserve? They shoudve known such a big group was coming.

I have come here number of times and always enjoy the food,on this occasion I took my mom and daughter and they really likes the food too. Their is a bit of a wait but worth waiting as the food is fresh. Only downfall is the place is cold ,you cant take jacket off too cold. It is however very clean and staff are friendly and food is delicious.

Excellent place. This is the 2nd timenam visiting and the lamb biryani was the best. And so was the chicken kofta. Nidas service was amazing, and they ensured they made food for my 5 year old with less spice as requested.

We were in Birmingham n wanted somewhere nice to eat. Went into Mezze, we were the 1st customers today, there was 10 of us, place was clean food was nice but disappointing we didn't get the 25% discount on cash payments which had been advertised on Instagram automatically.. we were charged full!! Edit after response: Thank you for your response and kind gesture, we will be visiting again soon Insha'Allaah. Edit 2 It's been a while, my husband visited with his brothers, and were offered 25% off todays meal.. Thank you.

This was my first time coming to Mezze, I have to say the food was delicious. The meat was so soft and would definitely come again. Service was brilliant.

We went here after seeing the reviews and they did not disappoint. We ordered a mezze platter which was tasty and the sea bass which was the most flavourful fish I have had in Birmingham. Surprisingly the food was well seasoned, spicy. The fries were fresh potato’s with the skins on and seasoned with a lovely spice. The portion sizes were generous . However we were let down with the hot drinks as they had no adeni tea or chai latte that day. The Kunafah was average, it could not compare to Mr Knafah or the other knafah place on Coventry road. It didn’t have that crunch or that stretchy cheese it also seemed a little dry not enough syrup. The mochas were lovely though. Overall though one of the best Arab food places in Birmingham as the food was very well seasoned, cooked fresh and generous portion sizes.

Tuesday afternoon at 1400, me and my wife, came to dine in for lunch. Only one table of two and us. Took our order, waited for 25 minutes for the food arrive. We ordered chicken wraps, lamb chops, and chicken wings with chips. My five lamb chops were small pieces, smaller than chicken wings. Cooked nicely but very small. The chicken was ok, bit dry inside. The wrap was decent. I wouldn't go back there personally. I stick to Al Bader. Sorry also no card payments and a headache to pull out cash.

Me being pregnant i had craving for good fresh Middle Eastern food and MEZZE restaurant did not disappoint. Food was sooo good , delicious and fresh! It took a while to come but it was fresh and Hot i rather they take little time and give hot and fresh food. We got special mix grill and Hot mix Mezze and Feta Salald. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. We like Middle Eastern food and are always in search for good places and this will definitely be on top of our list for next visit. Service was also good in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Myself, my wife and son had a fantastic meal here. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. We ordered a mix grill, chicken skewers and a kids meal and Kunafeh for dessert. The food was warm, fresh and full of flavour. The chicken kebab was the best I have tasted in years. We finished the meal of with a beautiful Kunafeh dessert which was freshly made. I would definitely eat here again. My recent dining experience at Mezze restaurant on Ladypool Road, Birmingham, was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the mandi, which delivered an exquisite blend of flavors and incredible value for the price. The lamb mandi was a culinary delight, cooked to perfection with tender, flavorful meat that melted in the mouth. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. Although the dish was advertised to include two pieces of lamb, we received one piece and a smaller additional piece. This minor discrepancy, however, did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Complementing the mandi was the freshly prepared ayran, which added a refreshing touch to the dining experience. Watching the staff prepare it with store-bought yogurt right after our order was a reassuring sight, showcasing their commitment to freshness and quality. While the restaurant does not provide free water or tap water, this minor inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the quality of the food and service. It's also worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge, as there is no dedicated parking area. However, street parking en route to the restaurant is a feasible option.

Food here was good, really enjoyed the mix grill and with rice. Clean and nice atmosphere. It was quiet when we went for lunch and not so busy. The staff were friendly. I would recommend and return here

We came yesterday, the food and restaurant were nice. The woman serving us was just rude and cold. My brother suggested this place from his last visit but since then the waiter had changed and even he was surprised at how rude she was. We bought our mum out after ages, who is sick and doesn’t go out much but that waiter completely ruined the experience. She didn’t even want to speak to us, whenever we asked about the menu, she met us with passively aggressive comments. She literally chucked the plates on our table and we were expected to distribute them, her attitude was just off and there was no attention whatsoever. She’s totally ruining the business and it’s a shame really because the food was good but she ruined the night!

Everywhere else on Ladypool Road was full except this place, we were seated straight away, the food came quickly and was made to perfection and the staff were really kind. Thank you!

Came here for a quick lunch and personally it’s the best shawarma I’ve had in Birmingham after trying many, also the best priced. Garlic sauce was spot on, fries tasted fresh and well seasoned, the wrap was well filled and was nicely toasted, the chicken shawarma tasted great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall delicious fresh food for a very affordable price and a clean place. Would love to come back and try other food, 100% recommend!

Ordered Mix platter for 3, cold mezze platter, fries and milk cake, mandi taste was average not like yemeni style, 4 piece in one shish tawuk skewer, humus was not beiruti type. Taboula and falafel were nice, no tahina sauce. Overall 3 ⭐️ for mix grill platter and 3.5⭐️ for Cold mezze. In the end he recommend to try bestseller milk cake but it was disappointing. 2⭐️
