Service was really bad, DO NOT GO. They charged me 11£ for a latte and one pastry. There was not enough seating, the floor was dirty, and the waiter was rude

We were walking across the bakery, and said that smells really good. A guy on the bike with four bags of bakes insisted we go inside. We did and had the dreamiest and yummiest Christmas feast ever. Been fan girling ever since🤍🤌🏻🦭

Was recommended the bakery but £5.80 for a Hot Chocolate and £3.50 for a plain Croissant seems excessive. Small and expensive pastries. Left and went some place else!

This cafe was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! The place is full of pastries and it was overwhelming. I bought a croissant and a baguette to go, and ordered Americano and a pistachio croissant to enjoy there. The croissants were amazing and the coffee was the best (ps. The staff might have been tired in the morning though, I felt like they weren't really interested in talking to me😂 But the bread was so good, I'll overlook it! haha)

A small and cute bakery with a lovely selection of bread and baked goods. Personal favorites were the pistachio chocolate swirl and the mushroom with emmental.

I bought galette des rois and canelé. The taste of the galette des rois was delicious, but I was disappointed that there was no crown in it. The canelé was empty inside. Maybe it was because they were busy, but the staff didn't make me feel good, so I don't think I'll come back again.

This bakery is a real treat! The pistachio pastry is a standout— absolutely delicious. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth it. The coffee is also excellent. The space inside is small, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot.

By far my favourite bakery, they use the best ingredients and respect what they're doing 👌

Good bakery with an interesting selection of pastries. I had the Pistachio choc swirl which tasted mainly of chocolate rather than pistachio so that was a bit disappointing. The chocolate+ pecan mousse bun was very good. The pastries are not overly sweet like in other bakeries, which I really appreciate.

Pastries are okay. Pain au chocolate - not much chocolate in there. Croissant - average , bit dense. Palmier - slightly burned

I bought a sourdough bread, it cost £7, I asked the bread to be sliced, turns out they do not offer slicing the bread (which is weird for a bakery). When I tried the bread, it was so hard, like a hard tack, I could not chew properly let alone slicing it. I simply dumped the loaf into a dust bin. A total waste of money. Very disappointed.

I love going to Miel Bakery! As a French person, I can say their pastries and bread are exceptional—truly some of the best you’ll find in London. The quality is worth every penny, and the owner is so kind and welcoming. It’s always a pleasure to support a genuine local small business that puts so much care into what they do.

Exceptional. One of the best Pain au chocolat in London. The cappuccino is good, but the espresso definitely needs improvement. Friendly service 👏🏻

Service is great. Coffee is better than all of the bigger brands nearby, though differs dependent on who is making it. Pastries are lovely, both savoury and sweet alike. Wish there was more seating!

Had the cardamom brioche and it was gorgeous. Excellent cappuccino too.

Great little coffee stop with fresh pastries made daily. Seating available inside and out although I didn't stay. Picked up a cinnamon and pistachio swirl, really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next time.

Very disappointed with the croissant. The inner layers aren’t good enough and most importantly missing that buttery scent… Also bought pistachio swirl … not very sure on that pistachio cream, too greasy and missing something. Last.. today’s special crumble Apple bread.. it’s just sweet bread with extremely minimum. I have been wanted to try Miel for over 1year, it’s not worth it… pastries are so expensive but missing the French buttery and the layers in middle …

Fantastic French bakery in London! My husband surprised me and what a surprise! The patisseries are authentic!! And I am French! J'adore! Merci beaucoup! We don't live close but we'll definitely be back! I didn't take pictures of all the patisseries as they quickly vanished but the pecan and apple tart and the Paris Brest were definitely a must!

Waited a few minutes until staff had finished cleaning until I got served. Chocolate and pistachio roll has nothing to do with pistachios as there’s barely any pistachio paste there. Pretty dry too, overall disappointing.

Bakery Miel is a fantastic, cozy spot for a breakfast, coffee or afternoon treat. The desserts are absolutely delicious - I highly recommend trying the cookie or the flan, depending on your taste. It’s definitely worth the visit for a sweet indulgence!

People are very nice, but the prices and the quality and taste is not. The pistachio swirl doesn't taste like an over 6 pounds swirl. It nearly tastes like a Tesco bun. Definitely looks over substance here, feel free to skip the place

High quality ingredients. Worth the price. Got the pistachio chocolate chip swirl and it was heavenly! Went here around 4pm and unlike other bakeries they still have their bestsellers at this hour so I felt so grateful

Pretty good pastries but not worth the hype. I had the pistachio swirl croissant and the cardamom brioche bun. The pistachio croissant didn’t taste particularly of pistachios. The cardamom bun was better but the cream didn’t gel very well with the dryness of the brioche bun. Absolutely enjoyed the sesame crackers and Indian biscuits!

The pistachio swirl this time was incredibleeeee….I stopped myself at one but could’ve have a few more! Not sure if the first time I came was unlucky off day, but this time I can say the pastry was amazing. My latte felt more like a cappuccino, but I didn’t mind too much ** Original: £10.5 for a coffee and pastry feels like robbery. I got the famous pistachio & chocolate swirl, which was tasty but not worth almost £7! It’s like a swirl you’d get at any bakery really…. And I’m fact, mine had a piece is pistachio shell that hurt my tooth in it. the coffee was mediocre and they charge extra for oat milk (in this day and age, why?). There’s a few seats and overall there are some nice pastries, but I don’t think the price is warranted

This was the best bakery in London we have visited so far. First, we weren’t impressed as the pastry didn’t look extraordinary or special in any way. But it was just perfect! It would be great if they had tags with what the pastry actually is. There was a queue and they were running out of many things. The seating area inside is small.

It would be a question of adjusting the prices 😂 it's not bad but the prices seem way too high to me

Attitude - BAD Food - BAD I would avoid

A little gem I wondered across when exploring Warren Street area. Not that cheap, but I've always found what I've chosen to be freshly made, excellent quality and very tasty - which is exactly what an occasional treat should be.

この日は朝一からWarren Street駅から程近くにあるMiel Bakeryは🥐🥐へ 旅行決めた時からチェックしてて ずっと行きたかったお店💕 何度も写真で見た外観やからもう感無量〜笑 香ばしい匂いのする店内へ。 先客ありで、少し待つ。 地元で人気のお店なのか ひっきりなしにお客さんがやって来る。 コーヒー☕️購入して 隣のスペースで食べてる人も居た。 ケーキや焼き菓子もあったけど ピスタチオのエスカルゴと お惣菜系のパンを購入。 ホテル戻ってから食べたけど まだサックサクやって めちゃ美味しかった😋💕 もっと買っておけばよかった〜 って思ったけど そんなに食べる時間が無かったから ２つで丁度良かったのかも😁 ちなみに２つで¥2,000ちょっと。 今回はほんとに 物価の高さには驚きっぱなしやった

Nice homemade pastry and bakeries in town. The mushroom one is a must try item:) you may also sit down beside the left hand side of the store and ordering some drinks there. Small batches are usually in a great quality and you can also try canelé( sorry forget to take a picture instead) as they are in a good balance with a crunchy beewax coating outside. 🤗🥨🍞🥐🍮🍰

On taste alone I find the pastries hit or miss. They definitely have some unique pastries that you can’t find elsewhere which is always fun. But the prices are the hardest pill to swallow for me: £4 for a Canele feels really steep. £17.5 for 3 pastries overall feels like robbery, especially since not every pastry is a winner for me. And for that to be takeaway… I’ve been here a few times and really want to like it, but I can’t let go of the price, even for central London

Really nice and tasty pastries, you can tell it’s properly done and best ingredients are being used. I loved the kouign amann, chocolate mouse bun and canelé. The only downside was that I pre-ordered but I had to wait so they can put everything together and also instead of almond chocolate croissant they put just almond croissant (it was too far to return and change it)- maybe a bit more attention to details would be nice to have in the future otherwise would definitely recommend. Update: Thank you for your fast response and for offering to solve things up. We will be back for sure to try other goodies! :)

Lovely selection of pastries both sweet & savoury. Very yummy baked goods. Coffee is ok. Not the best, not the worst. Staff is super friendly & helpful.

Sad to see what is said to be top quality ingredients be made into small parcels of disappointment. :( Might have had the most miserable tarte tatin from here the other week. The fruit tasted ok but the disk of pastry underneath was dry and cardboardy .Also got a loaf of sourdough - but it didn’t have that sour taste or stickiness that is usually so great about sourdough. This is the second time I have tried Miel bakery and sadly it shall be the last

Average cardamom bun and pretty tasteless daily special square. It was meant to be pear walnut but you couldn't taste the pear at all it might have as well been called plain croissant.

Went in close to when they closed and was greeted with a smile ! I didn’t try any of the pastries but I bought bread in the black box which is 50% off as it was baked yesterday meaning it was £3.50 total! Absolutely recommend such a cute place

I think this bakery is a bit overrated and over priced, even for London. We had the pistachio roll and it was average for the price and too small.

This bakery is outstanding. The chocolate pistachio escargot was fantastic. The daily special was a fig walnut square (see picture) and it was absolutely phenomenal. The latte was good. The mushroom garlic emental (escargot?) was great as well. The neighborhood of Fitzrovia was great to walk through. The staff were fine, but could be a bit friendlier, I didn’t get a welcoming, service-oriented vibe from any of them.

Visited this neighbour cafe on a weekend morning. Very busy, but luckily we had got a seat to dine in. Don't know why many bees were flying around in the shop...quite disturbing. We ordered Pain Au Chocolat, Madeleine, Raspberry & Pistachio Cake and Latte. My favourite one is Pain Au Chocolat!

Quiet and comfy place, looks awesome, staff very knowledgeable and friendly! Tried the famous pistachio swirl and it was quite good! Also had a chai latte that was okay, I prefer it more spicy but I could feel the good ingredients quality! Only giving three stars because the swirl had a pistachio shell that I bit and hurt my teeth 😭! Accidents happen, but it is unexpected for a premium pastry. But even after the incident I’m tempted to go back. Edit: they came back to me and offered to replace the pastry because of the incident, this shows respect and consideration for the clients. Highly recommend!

Incredible pastries, best in London? Amazing coffee. But service is agonisingly slow, they make one. coffee. at. a. time. oblivious to the massive queue, so prepare to wait.

Disappointing. The croissants were fresh but lacked flavour and texture. I've had better supermarket croissants. Other pastries were stale and hard. Better quality ingredients are needed. Given the high prices, the products need to be better.

As great as everything else looks please try the canelé. It's rare to find them and the one sold here is perfect!

Need dessert for after dinner. Stopped by this bakery on my way home. They still had a large selection of items to take out. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The pastries I tried were amazing! I definitely recommend the Kouigns, croissants and pistachio swirls! The croissant was very buttery and flakey, and wonderful even the second day. The swirl won’t taste very strongly of pistachio but more of choco, so keep that in mind. The kouign had a lovely caramelized crust that hit the spot perfectly after my long day. I definitely appreciated the staffs’ help and explanations on how everything tasted, they had great recommendations.

Un poco decepcionante. Tal vez solo porque habíamos visto este lugar aparecer tan frecuentemente en las redes sociales y esperábamos algo un poco mejor que el promedio bueno. El par de pasteles que pedimos estaban bien - aunque el croissant de almendras (y sí, sé que dicen que necesitan usar croissants rancios) en realidad era algo desagradable de comer - en que no solo estaba seco, era casi insípido. Los tamaños de café son ridículamente pequeños.

Was so excited to visit here as they are one of the few places in London that sell canelés. Sadly I have never been more disappointed by a bakery in my entire life! The canelé was £4 to take-out, stale, burnt, and an awful texture (so hollow also?). It completely lacked the delicious centre one was craving!

Tried the fabulously looking pistachio praline swirls and so much disappointment. The pastry was denser than I'd expected, chocolate taste overpowered pistachio (4 of us who tried it all agreed on that) and the worst part - one of the swirls had a piece of pistachio shell in it. Absolutely unacceptable in any food you're serving to customers, but especially at this price point! Would ask for a refund if it wasn't a takeaway

The bakery has fresh and fluffy baked goods. The two best have pistachio and spinach, which is very delicious. I mean, I usually go back to it, but the shop is small and in the heat of the place. It is suitable for taking on a cup. Black coffee comes with excellent matcha, but not once. Excellent cappuccino without sugar. The price is negotiable.

If you are a big fan of cardamom bun you must try this over here 😍

Valrhona chocolate cookie is sickly sweet. No balance between the sweetness and buttery. Too much chocolate and had metallic taste after. Awful coffee.

Over hyped London bakery, been multiple times to try different things as everyone raves about it - but all their options are failry underwhelming, especially given the price.

Not too bad! It's so and so. If you want something well worth it, then the croissants are the best items on the menu. The decaf, not so much. You've got your amazing bits and you're not 100% bits, such as the chocolate filled items. The Palmer's weren't my favourite 😔 overall, definitely give it a shot.

Miel bakery is probably one of my favourite bakeries in London! It's so conveniently located right behind Warren Street tube station (it's also on my route to the office if I'm coming from Manchester) so I love stopping here to pick up a delicious pastry. I usually take away so can't speak for the sit-in experience, but it's never busy when I come in the late morning and the staff are always friendly and smiling. They have a lot of different options both sweet and savoury, but I always go for a sweet treat. My favourite so far has been the hazelnut gianduja pain au chocolate (pictured). Definitely on my top spots for bakes and pastries when I'm in London!

It was below my expectations. The dough texture is bread-like. The seating area was a little stuffy. Prices are a little expensive for these products.

Small but beautiful bakery in its simplicity. The baked goods speak for themselves, an amazing sweet selection of traditional French pastries along with more universal options. The savoury selection is not the emphasis but it has some deliciously looking feta spinach parcels as well as sausage rolls. Great strong coffee and terribly flavourful chai, attentive staff is the cherry on the top. Fully recommend.

I recently discovered this place near work on recommendation from a colleague. This place sells some of the best tasting pastries however they are at an elevated price point. I understand that the ingredients are quality and therefore this is reflected in the price. The coffee is really good and there is a good selection. I had the chocolate mousse bun and it was divine. At £6.50 it is a treat for once in a while but I will definitely be back.

I come here at least once a week to grab a pastry on my way to work. I always enjoy my purchases but what lets Miel down is the extremely slow service during rush hour. They lose much custom because of this. People come in, wait and then leave.

Delicious! Definitely worth developing a daily pastry fix.
