Waited 2 hrs for food so far… still not here. I rang the restaurant who couldn’t have cared less. No offer of a refund or partial refund. Absolutely shocking

Ordered on Monday food was amazing. ordered today, over 2 hours to get here (1 mile away) poppadoms smashed to bits, baltis were full of water, bland. was like chicken soup. hardly any garlic in the tiny naan breads,no apology for the lateness. shocking. what have you done? changed chief? or let a child practise cookery club. horrible food. never again

I had an amazing experience here The food was full of authentic flavors, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Brilliant food and service on New Years day!, travelled from Australia, grew up in local area of Solihull Lodge and used to come here with my mates.. just been with my dad second time since I've been back, always good food and friendly service.. definitely recommend! All the best happy new year

This Indian will always be my number one go to. I’ve never gone and sat in. Always had it ordered and I always get the same guy delivering. He makes my day! Super energetic, remembers names, has a laugh. The food is just unreal! Amazing portions and always fresh. Love love love this place

First time ordering from here just came across by accident. Food was amazing, we chose the £14.50 meal and was amazed at the quanity of food but also the quality. Very very tasty dishes, lovely chicken in nice portions, 5/5 without a doubt. Amazing!

Food was generally cooked well, subtly flavoured for the most part. Spicy dishes and allergens were clearly labelled. Lots of variety on the menu. The physical menu is a little more extensive than the online version. Service was on the slower side, although staff were nice and polite. Complimentary coffee or ice cream is available after the meal, and chocolates with the bill, which are nice touches.

With regret I must write this negative review. One star is for the quality of the food only, which wasn't bad. It's the SERVICE that was utterly deplorable last night. Our family has been visiting Millennium Balti for years after my parents found it once when they were visiting me. My elderly father really wanted to go there last night as he's loyal to supporting this local business and the staff are usually friendly. Not last night. Granted, it was BUSY. However we did book in advance. The table we were shown to was not properly laid and there were no glasses, napkins or drinks menu. We were quickly served poppadums but our drinks order was not taken for ages (we used a menu from another table). We ordered food and still no napkins or glasses. I asked for them and we got given some glasses but not napkins so I had to go and physically get them myself which was a bit embarrassing having to explain this to the poor guy behind the counter. My dad made it very clear he wanted a king prawn balti. But he got served a dry chicken dish that he did not want. He sent it back requesting the king prawn balti. What eventually arrived (he'd eaten his rice side dish by this point) was a king prawn tandoori but I didn't realise this until after my dad requested some balti sauce to go with it because it was so dry. This then duly arrived. We enjoyed our meals but we never felt we could ask the waiters anything because they were always dealing with other customers and nobody asked if they could help with anything. When it came to desserts, we ordered one thing from the menu that someone else in our party wanted. My dad just wanted some ice cream. The waiter said "That's only available if we give it to you for free". I asked if this could be arranged and he confirmed it could. He asked me if I wanted a desert. I asked if the complimentary ice cream could be extended to me too. He replied that if I wanted a dessert, I could choose something from the menu (i.e. a paid item). I declined. Later once the desserts appeared, the same waiter asked me again if I wanted to choose a dessert from the menu. Again I declined, somewhat perplexed. Was he trying to make a point, that I did not quality for a 'free ice cream'? Other diners in the restaurant were being served complimentary ice cream. They also appeared to be dining from tables that had glasses and napkins on there. So really we felt a little put out. Anyway, I went to settle the bill and to my surprise, the additional balti sauce that my dad had ordered as they got his meal wrong, was added to the bill. Not wishing to make a scene and managing elderly father and other family members, I just paid it but did not leave a tip. And today I am thinking that we will NEVER come to Millenium Balti again. The staff were rude, inattentive and the service was beyond sloppy. Most of all, we felt so unwelcome there. Well, don't worry Millennium Balti because we won't trouble you with our presence again. Thankfully there are other much nicer restaurants in the area selling similar south Asian cuisine, and who understand what it is like to provide a little bit of basic customer service.

Massive order, arrived on time, fantastic food

Driver got lost ... Then when he arrived he hinted that I order from somewhere closer to my home because it took him 30 mins to get to me. Don't they have Sat navs ??? He also said that in the comment section that I should enter my personal phone number so they can ring me when they get lost in traffic. You simply couldn't make it up...

Best curry we've had in a while, not oily or greasy, really tasty, rice was abit undercooked. delivery took 1 hour 35 minutes from ordering so maybe we just order for collection in the future.

I used to go here regularly until Covid and changes in circumstances. Returned this evening for the first time in 3 years. Has been refurbished and different floor plan. Nice welcome . Owner,/Manager remembered me as well as a few of the waiters. Good service and meals and portion sizes were great. £13.95 for starter, main, rice/naan/ roti/ chips (choice of) and a coffee or ice cream. Bargain. Nice to go back.

Food took 3 hours and was absolutely foul I wouldn’t have served that up to my dog loads of items missing not what you expect when spending £125 on a takeaway for 6 people!!!

Had a wonderful night of friends and food at the Millennium. We shared dishes. The Lasooni Gosht + Millennium Naan were my faves. The atmosphere and service was great and the waiters happily took loads of photos for us. Keep up the excellent work.

Great service, food and atmosphere. Millennium Balti hosted our group on a last minute get together. We were expertly guided through the extensive menu by our waiter Ahmed, who dealt with our different requirements and numerous questions with grace and patience. A few of the standout dishes from our visit. Starters: fish pakora, lamb shahlick and tandoori lamb chops. Mains: Garlic Chilli Lamb Masala and Lamb Bhuna Madras. The service was great, and we didn't feel rushed and will be returning soon.

I don't often post reviews, but I was genuinely surprised by this hidden gem. We went for date night. Great atmosphere and lots of interesting house specialities. Thoroughly recommend the Mumbai Frankie Roll, only if your hungry, very filling starter. Wife loved her Dynamite Jingha (pawns). Feeling adventurous I asked for a recommendation over my usual Madras, and our waiter, Imran recommended the Lasooni Gosht, it didn't disappoint! New favourite. Will be back soon.

Staff were very cheerful on our arrival! Staff were very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. Food was amazing. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Imran in particular was very helpful, cheerful and accommodating, listened to our needs and was extremely helpful. Atmosphere was great too!

Lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive and food was very nice- great value for money, esp if you opt for the weekly deal

Used this place many times and normally ok however this evening while speaking to a member of staff to amend a order the staff member was so rude and had a disgusting attitude. Will never use again and will make sure friends and family know about this. This member of staff needs customer service training. Ended up cancelling the order big loss. You will loose many more customers if you treat them like you did me this evening.

It's decent and I would recommend it for sure.

Very good food and service, nice atmosphere been eating there for years, never a problem.

The food was disgusting. I ordered a curry it was full of onions and wasn’t nice at all. The Naan bread was too sweet I couldn’t even finish my meal. I also received the wrong rice.

the lamb dish was awful. the meat was so tough and totally inedible. the prawn on puri was nice. I never received the rice ordered. very disappointed

I only gave one star because I couldn't leave less the service was disgusting leaning over me near on sat in my lap food was bland and distasteful the bill was so huge I questioned it and the guy started arguing with me rather than explaining the bill to me 80 pound for a few baltis few chapati few starter then when leaving the basically tried pushing us out dirty tables glasses and cutlery
