Continuously perfect and consistently amazing steak restaurant. You can never go wrong with Miller and Carter. Despite the huge scale of the Bristol branch and how busy it is, the service is always super quick, friendly, efficient and most importantly the food absolutely divine! Great wine selection! Nice to see dark horse added to the options. DELICIOUS! following only feedback but in no way affected our 10/10 experience. 1) The apple sauce type thing with the scallops just didn't work. Please bring back the crispy bits and lobster jus! 2) gutted the pornstar martini is still missing half a passion fruit. What's the reason for replacing with dried raspberries? 3) you're absolutely missing out by not offering chimichurri! Yes all your steak sauces are incredible but the best steak experience we had of all time in Poland was complete with chimichurri! Please add and keep forever as a choice! Finally our server was swept off her feet. Never let us down and always attended when required. But we weren't offered any sauce i.e. ketchup for fries. Again it by no means ruined the meal or any reason to complain but something maybe worth training staff to offer to complete the already 10/10 service we love so much. We loved our meal, the service was incredible, food the best! We tipped in cash to show our gratitude and yes we'll 100% be back 🤗

Been here for dinner just a few times and the quality of food has never disappointed me, so decided to treat myself and the hubby to their Christmas Day meal and they’ve raised their own bar even higher, with great service from Georgia. 👍🏼 Will be coming back for Christmas from now on for sure!!! NB: photo emphasis on the steak… OF COURSE! 🤤

Had deligthful meal here with my family this Christmas Day! The food was excellent and arrived promptly and piping hot and the staff were jolly and truly lovely despite working. It was wonderful to see them in good spirits. Wishing all of them a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Ellis and the team serve up a splendid Christmas Day lunch here. Well worth the extra for such a treat. Turkey with all the trimmings, beautifully cooked. Variety of desserts and vegetarian options. We recommend this. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Had a wonderful dinner, Celebrating a family birthday. Priyan was an excellent server, with great knowledge on the steaks, drinks and persuasive with the deserts! We appreciated the extra birthday touch. Made the meal very enjoyable!

It was a truly awful meal. I ordered a steak but was then told 20 minutes later that no steak was available and was offered a number of oven based dishes. I opted for the chicken which was very poor. I ordered desert which was a sticky toffee pudding, this was freezing cold in the middle so clearly microwaved on the incorrect setting. I sent it back and was offered another, by this point I was put off by the food. Highly unlikely this feedback will be read or will I visit the Bristol restaurant again. Especially as this was a special occasion.

Lovely meal in a lovely setting. Priyan was attentive and an amazing waiter, he has served us twice now and both times he's been fabulous.

After booking late, we arrived and were served by Georgia, who was absolutely brilliant, despite having difficult and rude customers sat either side of our table, she was completely professional and courteous. The food was brilliant and served promptly after each course.

Had a great meal for brothers birthday, Priyan served us throughout the evening and was kind funny and provided great service. First time eating here and will definately be coming back as everything was perfect. Excellent experience

Even though I messed up my booking the lovely guy on reception found us a table on a Saturday night. Beautiful building. Found was stunning service was fantastic it was just to hot in there which is apparently because the hotel keeps the heating up . Wouldn't put me off going again though

His recommendations were spot on, and he ensured everything was perfect throughout the evening. The food was incredible - big compliments to Scott for preparing such a mouthwatering meal! Every dish was cooked to perfection, from the tender steaks to the delicious sides. You can tell real care goes into the preparation. The ambiance was cozy yet sophisticated, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion or just a great meal out. We'll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended! The ambiance, stylish furniture, and overall aesthetic are impressive. However, it would enhance the experience if the waitstaff were well-versed in the menu without needing to consult the kitchen. Additionally, a warm and welcoming greeting upon seating would set a positive tone for the visit.

Breakfast was fantastic, omelettes made to order by Airf who was great and accomdated using alternative cookware as we were vegetarian,

The brekfast experience couldn’t be better + Rokshana is a life saver (Literally). When my elderly grandmother was chocking, she rushed over, and saved her life. Then, my croissant set on fire and she picked it up with her bare hands and blew on it so it extinguished. Later that day, I broke my leg in the gym, Rokshana came over, she picked me up on her shoulders and took me to the nearest hospital.

Second time dining here and love the food, great service - thank you Eszter. First time - tried the calamari appetizer, filet mignon and variable sides, all well prepared and flavourful. Second time tried 12oz Ribeye, scallops appetizer was fresh, and again very quick and friendly service from Eszter.

I had 30-day aged medium cooked ribeye, which i would recommend. The plate could’ve been warmer and bigger size for easier cut. Service was really good. The waiter, I remember the name is Pri, knew the menu well, helped to order other dishes matching my steak.

Great evening, Bart was an attentive and friendly server. The food cooked by Scott was excellent. We had a good evening and will visit again.

We had booked a table which I would advise and busy. Our waiter was Priyan who was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Our food arrived just right with breaks between each course. Two of us had steaks which Chef Scott cooked to perfection. We are hoping to revisit on our return to Bristol.

Always lovely good and great service here. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because I wish they'd just put some better background music on. Had great service by Georgia. She has served us previously but all the staff here are friendly, pleasant and professional.

Very friendly welcoming ambiance! Excellent service from Esther! The salad was good especially with hallumoi. Sour dough bread was disappointing, massive chunks that were not that fresh. A few fresh slices would be better! Great wine options by the glass, overall a relaxing enjoyable experience!

Really nice good food and ambient... However the restroom is too far away and waiting staff sometimes forget certain items of your ordered meal. Dessert i chose was stated for 2 people but definitely not was not suitable for 2 people, only the 1. Also vegan variety not so much available.

Tables far too close together for a premium dinning experience. Basically cramming in as many people as possible without the thought of giving the customer a thought. Until this is remedied I couldn’t recommend or return to this restaurant.

Saturday evening and this place was hopping! A small wait when we arrived, but they were busy. We had pre-booked a table for six people, there was no problem that we ended up being only five. Our order was taken and drinks arrived. Soon after the food started coming and it was excellent. I shared a £100 cote de boeuf package which was excellent value (steak, sides, lobster tail, mac and cheese, wine). The bill came promptly and we were on our way back to our backgammon tournament!

Brilliant meal. Steak was perfectly cooked. We went for the Butcher's Block and it was so much meat and delicious. Great wine too, and our server Amber was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

Dear Miller & Carter Bristol City team, Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on our recent visit. When we arrived to be seated, the staff member seemed unaware of my prior request for a table by the window, which I had specifically requested during the online reservation. Additionally, this dinner was intended as a celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary, which I had also mentioned in the reservation, but it appeared that these details had not been noted. Upon being seated, the staff member mentioned that, due to the high number of guests, it would not be appropriate to ask others to move to accommodate us. While I understand the restaurant was busy, I felt this response was not ideal, and I hope this can be improved for future visits. Ty bought me a 8oz rump steak to my room, greatly and efficiently, with a nice smile! Such a smart young lad with amazing mannerisms, unfortunately couldn't tip him but was asked to leave a review, thanks Ty👍 will order next Sunday again.

Bart was a great waiter, quick service and attentive without being intrusive. Excellent wine recommendation. Scott amended our order to cook it just as we liked, well presented. Reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant. I would recommend.

Wanted to get a table on Saturday 2pm, half of the restaurant was empty. Waiting time was 30 mins just to get a table. Sadly place is understaffed so we decided to go somewhere else. Definitely different standards compared to London’s miller and carter

Lovely restaurant inside the beautiful Royal Marriott Hotel. Service from Priyan and atmosphere was great, food wasn’t the best we’ve had at miller and carter before but still nice.

James was a very attentive server. Food was excellent, setting is lovely, would highly recommend.

James was great. Not because of our shared love for Chablis. He made our dining experience exceptional. We would be lucky to return and be in his section.
