You can't eat here it's daylight robbery you can get bigger lobster tails at Aldi or Lidl scallops no bigger than a £1 coin.

Had a lovely time until we witnessed a strange man from a table on his own acting very weird and shouting at the staff because they could not provide him with a lighter. He was also shouting about scallops he was also looking through drawers and acting very weird. We had to leave before finishing as we were worried about his behavior. I feel very sorry for the staff that had to deal with him.

Visited on a Sunday on the way to Harry Potter studios. My partner and I shared the roast and the food was amazing. The waitress (Sally) was brilliant and provided recommendations on how we should have the ribeye steak and lamb cooked. She was very attentive (super quick service with drinks and checking up on us). Sally also made sure to clean the table in between main and dessert to make sure we didn’t lean in any split gravy.

Miller & Carter what's not to love? A pricey, but well worth it if only for the the little saucepan of dipping sauce! Very yummy 😋

Served by Sarah who was excellent throughout the dining experience. Very knowledgeable in selection of the wine to suit the meals. Gave her good positive feedback and also to her manager who appreciated the positive feedback also. Food was spot on and will definitely return in the future.

Went for the new years eve set menu Got placed by a super loud family with children by Nicole and the kids was far too much, wouldn't say it spoilt our evening but would of spoilt many others Jordan was superb a great member of staff was super attentive and helpful the food was decent enough wasn't dissatisfied however we was one of very few who topped the service we was provided and would of been nice if we got a better table

Service was awful, food was very mediocre and small portions. Asked for an extra drink and they gave it to me 20 minutes later, at the end of my meal. Prices are also misleading as they add a large % of VAT to your receipt at the end.

Miller and Carter are consistently good but this visit was made extra special by our server Sally. She was attentive and friendly and went above and beyond ensuring that our dietary needs were catered for.

Excellent english food, friendly attentive service and good value. I visit for evening meals with two (special needs) family members and(one allergic) and the the staff are always so friendly. I recommend the seabass, bone marrow and 3 for £10 sides. Special thanks to the staff Cloe, Suzie, Gemma, Melissa for making us welcome and apologies to other customers.

Our experience today at the Kings Langley branch had a lovely ambience; it was a nice meal out before Christmas. Although it was quite busy when we came, Millie was still extremely attentive with us, polite and patient. She made the experience dining here tonight a lot more worth it :) we will definitely be returning!

I had an amazing experience at miller and carter today, Shannon was my waitress and she’s catered for all our needs and even helped settle my little girl so I could Finnish my dinner, it was the best experience iv had there ever, would highly recommend x

We were greeted at the entrance and my wife's hair was complemented by the young lady that took us to our table. Our waitress Sally was the best we have ever had in a restaurant, very pleasant and chatty throughout but without being intrusive. Food was lovely along with our cocktails, Sally also surprised me with a desert with Happy Birthday written across the plate. Really went out of her way to make the evening memorable, highly recommend.

A very big thank you to all your lovely staff for a wonderful evening on Friday. We had booked M & C for our Christmas meal and there were 30 of us from work. We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this evening and the food and service were outstanding . My fillet mignon was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you to Gemma for being an excellent server and thanks to the chefs for the excellent food.

Small portions, average quality.

I have been to this miller & carter a few times now. The last 2 times service has been really slow. The waitresses themselves are lovely, but the service, for a miller & carter restaurant, is expect better, especially because of what your paying. There was a wait for drinks after we’d sat down. We quickly realised the table hadn’t been cleaned as you’ll see by attached pictures, there was only 2 of us and we sat at the first 2 seats of the table, the side towards the wall was dusty. The candle wasn’t lit, a bit of a pointless feature. The floor was messy with food and tissue over the carpet. Food was quite a while to come out. Food tasted lovely. The table wasn’t cleaned after our main meal, there were some peas left on the table, which wasn’t offered to be wiped by the waitress. I ordered a crème brûlée for me & my mum, hers was fine, mine had mould raspberry on it which I placed on the side of the plate next to my pudding, I told the waitress and she scooped them up with her fingers from next to my pudding on the plate and said she’d show the chef….. I was shocked but I really wanted my crème brûlée… I’d asked how often the tables were cleaned and the waitress replied “everyday”…. They clearly hadn’t been cleaned before we sat down. Either it’s bad management here or the staff are lazy…. Which is a shame as they seem lively when serving…. One waitress looked a bit annoyed (that wasn’t serving us) she was on her phone a lot walking around. Not great for paying in excess of £100 for a meal!! Not the service or ambience I’d expect!!

Unfortunately, we came during the festive period when there were a lot of Christmas parties taking place and large parties of people so we did have to wait about 1.5 hours for our food to eventually come out, so be prepared if you do visit during this time. Our server, I believe her name is Sally, was absolutely amazing and continuously checked in on us and apologised for the delays. She was gracious and really did all she could, not only with us but all other customers. She was constantly on the go and always had a smile on her face. She definitely made the wait bearable. The food was pretty good, I would have liked it a bit hotter but the portions were great. I would recommend to others, but perhaps not for this time of the year.

Where to start….. they were clearly very busy which is positive but sadly unable to provide an acceptable level of service. We were there 1 hour and 25 minutes before our lettuce wedge arrived which is after all just a lettuce wedge! The steaks, when they arrived, were over cooked which was really disappointing for a steak restaurant. We ended up skipping dessert as we had lost the will by the time the mains were finished. The only positive was our server who was really apologetic. Would not recommend unless you are prepared to wait a good while for a relatively pricey but ultimately pretty average dinner.

The restaurant did call up and tell me that it was going to be late but it wasn’t due to them. It was due to the driver not turning up and therefore the food had been waiting cold for at least 25 minutes.

Lovely steak we Shared one of the sharing boards with the mixed steak all Cooked To perfection, onion loaf is delicious. For starters I ordered the sticky chicken bites I was very disappointed with them As it was chicken thigh meat I wouldn’t expect this in here so I couldn’t eat them but that’s just me. Our waitress was very good and helpful

Not often you can say this, but this restaurant has it all. I have never had any fault with anything here. It's that good I sometimes visit twice a week. Yes I do love food. But with the fixed lunch being such good value and tasty it's rude not too.

The steak is always excellent, but for some reason, the accompanying fries/chips are always underwhelming (luke warm or reheated?). Desserts aren't great and taste rather synthetic. I would definitely recommend going for steaks. Staff are fantastic and there is plenty of space to dine in comfort.

The service from Tina was excellent. We had the Sunday roast sharer, it was so good. Great deal, worth the money. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and that camembert mash...omg🤤🤤🤤
