Had a lovely meal here for my beautiful granddaughter (she was 19 bless her). Absolutely loved my steak and my red wine jus - of course had to end with a tiramisu for sue! Rubbish Didn’t get past the bar we were forgotten 3 groups after us seated straight away we was booked 7.15pm told 10 minute wait gave up after 25 minutes he seemed more interested with what was on his mobile phone real shame ruined daughters birthday and always loved miller and carter so thankyou to the man on reception who left us sitting waiting.

Great food great service only missing a star as was quiet (some music or if it was playing was very quiet) and a couple of steaks missing from the menu

Our server Keith was absolutely wonderful. If you get him and don’t want your salad wedge make sure you order the Stilton and blue cheese one for him to have on his lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and didn’t leave a lick of food left on the bone. Amazing service and even better food!!

We had a large table of ten people from 10 years old upwards, and from the moment we sat down to leaving Grace, the waitress was amazing. She was so attentive got every order correct. The restaurant was spotless and looked very festive plenty of parking as well. Congratulations the crown you were brilliant.

Went there yesterday with a party of seven for Christmas dinner. The service was exceptional, the waiting staff were friendly, smiley and very efficient, there were no long waits for our drinks or food, they were very attentive despite how busy they were. The food was superb, cooked beautifully, tasted amazing and plenty of it. We always go out usually to smaller family run pubs but our experience yesterday exceeded expectations. Well done to all the staff ,you are a credit to the company, thank you all.

Sam was a great waiter; friendly and welcoming and made the experience really lovely. Food was good and not too long to wait. Seperate gluten free menu was really helpful. The only real issue was that it was cold in the restaurant despite the radiator and fire being on.

Boxing Day lunch was another triumph, largely due to our server, Grace, who was wonderfully attentive and made the whole experience that much better. Miller & Carter, keep hold of her, she’s an absolute asset!

We visited the Miller & Carter Langdon Hills branch for our Boxing Day meal, and overall, the experience was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious—no complaints whatsoever. Everything was cooked to perfection, and it was a great treat for the festive season. A special mention to Sam, our waiter, who was fantastic throughout. Sam was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well looked after, which added a personal touch to our meal and made the experience even more enjoyable. However, there were a couple of issues with the billing process that really need addressing. When the bill arrived, our deposit hadn’t been deducted, which could have easily gone unnoticed if we hadn’t been paying close attention. Additionally, the prices in-house are slightly different from those on the website, which is misleading. While it’s only a few pounds, when you consider this happening across many customers, it adds up to a significant amount of money that’s being overcharged without people realising. After the bill was corrected, £50 was taken off. Again, if we hadn’t checked thoroughly, we could have ended up paying twice or being overcharged. It raises the question of how many other customers might unknowingly be overpaying due to these errors. While the food and service were exceptional, the billing issues definitely need sorting out to ensure transparency and accuracy. A big thank you to Sam for his excellent service, but I hope management will take these concerns seriously to avoid spoiling an otherwise great dining experience for future customers.

Awfull service and cold inedible food

What a fantastic Christmas Day lunch! To start with we were greeted by happy smiling staff that all wished us happy Christmas- they all seemed genuinely happy to be working on Christmas Day. Next our table was set up beautifully with crackers and name places with our menu on - as we had forgotten! Great touch! And a personal Christmas Card. Nice touch again! Our server was amazing. She was so attentive and lovely to us. She really made our visit a happy and festive one. Nothing was too much for her and she constantly checked on us with a massive smile. Our food was perfect and all correct - you worked so hard to get it perfect for us. Also I had asked for a quieter table (autistic daughter) and a special request with my cheese board - both were remembered and I was delighted by the way both requests were accommodated - thank you so much! You really made our Christmas Lunch very special and relaxing - you all worked so hard to make it an absolute pleasure- again - thank you!! We had one of the best Christmas Lunches!
