Excellent dining experience..good kerala food

The interior is nice and they have a large hall for parties but the service is average. We ordered Veg and Chicken Dosas, and they mixed up our order and hardly accepted it. Chicken stuffing in the dosa was very spicy, and there were too many green chilly pieces. Vegetable Biryani was good in taste and quantity. Overall, Ok.

The most prominent issue with this place is the waiting times. Ordering at 18:50, you’d have expected the starters to have as least arrived at 19:20. Instead we were left waiting until 19:45 for the first starter to arrive to the be informed that food is prepared one by one, and not consecutively. It wasn’t until an hour and a half after we had ordered that we received the first main course meal, but again, they make each meal at once so we had to wait for an age for each meal. The food was okay, at best, reflected in the 3 star food rating I’ve given the place. You’ve ordered prawns? You get onions with a side of prawns. You’ve ordered chicken? You get onions with a side of chicken. The entirety of the menu is false advertising and not what you’d expect to arrive when you’ve ordered something. You ask for containers to take the food back for family members that may want to try out this average cuisine, it seems like they’re moulding the containers themselves it takes them that long. The waitresses disappear and you’re left stranded for long periods of time. Do better.

The best South Indian food around northeast

I had veg pulavu, fish pollichathu, chicken roast and poratta really taste like authentic Indian food. I never had such a culinary taste of Kerala in Middlesbrough.

"Severe Food Poisoning – Avoid at All Costs!" A group of six of us dined at this hotel's restaurant yesterday at 5 PM, and it was a complete disaster. We ordered porotta, chicken roast, and chicken curry. The chicken curry, in particular, was horrible, and we immediately started feeling discomfort after the meal. Three of us who ate the chicken dishes ended up with severe food poisoning shortly after. The pain and sickness ruined the rest of our day, and it’s clear that the food was not prepared safely. This is unacceptable, and we are extremely disappointed with the quality and hygiene standards here. I strongly urge anyone considering dining here to think twice. Food safety should never be compromised, and this hotel clearly has serious issues with it. Will not be returning and hope the management takes immediate action to prevent this from happening to others.

"Food Poisoning for Half Our Group – Very Disappointing!" A group of six of us dined at this hotel's restaurant yesterday at 5 PM, and the experience was terrible. We ordered chicken roast and chicken curry, and unfortunately, three people who ate the chicken fell seriously ill with food poisoning later that evening. The symptoms were severe, and it completely ruined our stay. It’s shocking that a hotel of this standard would serve food that clearly wasn’t handled or prepared properly. Food safety should be a top priority, but it seems it’s completely neglected here. If you care about your health, I would strongly advise avoiding the food at this hotel. We will definitely not be coming back, and I hope management takes this issue serious.

We spent over £80 that food wasn’t good and. Also we took home 3kothu parota it’s not nice toomuch gravy and it’s not spice it’s sweet I can’t recommend this restaurant unless if they make improvements in the food quality

The food was a bit too spicy for my taste buds. Kothuporata was not as expected. But Thalaseri biryanis was nice as it was the special dish of the day. We had Kallu there.

I recently dined at Mint Leaf and had a great experience. The ambiance is cozy, and the food is flavorful. The biryani was aromatic and well-spiced, and both the beef roast and kappa biryani were exceptional. The mango lassi was amazing. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. The restaurant is also quite affordable. Overall, a lovely spot for tasty and reasonably priced south Indian cuisine!

Food is not fresh, they serve coconut chutney with mix of something else, and it does not taste like coconut chutney. They serve dosa with small portions of sambar and chutney. when we order chicken fried rice and chicken curry for parotta, the chicken used for the curry does not taste good and also they used boiled chicken (to increase self life for the chicken )for fried rice.

I recently visited mint leaf and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The most frustrating aspect was the significant delay in service. We had to wait for almost an hour overall, which is completely unacceptable. Despite the restaurant's ambiance and food quality, the lack of time management ruined the experience. If you're considering dining here, be prepared for a long wait. Until they improve their service speed, I can't recommend this place.

Today I ordered 3 chicken mandi through just eat. After 1hr long wait they cancelled the order with a note they can't make it. As per the menu it was their today 's special item. If you can't make it, don't put in in your menu.

Few days ago I ordered Chicken Biriyani when I came and open The box it’s watery because It’s reheated Food From Freezer, and I order Chicken Manchurian I never ever experienced in my life those kind of Preparations Only soya sauce no Other Sauce and to much salty. Tasty malabar food with classy interiors. Loved the quantity and taste of biriyani rice, king fish masala curry, beef roast and crispy porotta. Fresh lime was really refreshing. Felt Kerala in Middlesbrough. Rates are found to be reasonable.
