MK FISH & PIZZA in Milton Keynes

I was looking forward to some fish and chips. Unfortunately it arrived 2 hours late and it wasn't great. They kindly called me to say they had no delivery drivers so was getting someone out asap. So you would think they would have made sure the food portions and quality was up to scratch. However the amount of chips I received for a small was shocking. Literally like a handful if that, the fish was soggy. I ended up making my daughter something else as it was so late. I wouldn't order again.

Tried veggie burgers and chips from this place yesterday. Food was good and fresh. But I didn’t like the green sauce that they gave, it tasted gross and smelled awful.

Went to them for first time and the staff where so friendly and the food was amazing freshly cooked and tasty been back a couple of times now always freshly cooked recommend highly

This is a lower score than normal as it wasn’t up to scratch tonight unfortunately - last two visits have been at lunch time with a female member of staff in charge and have been much better - tonight a man was in charge and the fish was not very big, the batter was too thick and there was just too much of it and the regular chip portion was tiny - and I do mean tiny - you’d complain. If you were given that as an OAP portion ! - you need consistency especially with chip portion sizes and wrap the fish and chips together. …. stop wasting paper ….

Today i got kebab and the salad and it was looking fresh and curry sauce it was amazing i would like to visit it again

Kebab was poor quality..very chewy and full of artificial red colour.

Ordered (quite close to closing time)pie and chips box with 4 drinks. Delivered on time and food was hot and tasted great. Even received an extra drink and 3 plain sausages!

Been there 4 times and every time they have not only forgotten to give an item and then i had to go back to collect it without any apology but you wait ages for the stuff to be cooked Not impressed at all

Have used a lot of chippys around milton keynes.used this place a few weeks ago on a recommendation . Have visited a few times since and have not been disappointed and I am very choosy about my fish and chips. Good portions. Good pricies and very good food. 👍

Code was absolutely rubbish; tasteless and way too oily. Chips was very salty and smelled of old oil. Never again. Never Never .

Kebab and chips aren't very good

Food was amazing. My mum asked for small cod and chips meal, the portion size is that of a medium meal in other places. She said it was the best chips she's ever had. Good quality food at great prices. 100% recommend

I think this has changed owners again!! I went i today for meat and chips with salad. Asked the lady to put salad on top. Instead she squashed it between the chips and meat making it soggy. The curry sauce is thin like water. And the meat was as thin as wallpaper. No salt and everything was bland. I wont be returning again

The food was nice. They forgot to deliver the 2 curry sauces I paid for so that was a shame because I only eat chips with it on, but hopefully they’ll make up for that next time because I’ll definitely be ordering again.

My favourite chippie. I used to go there when I could drive, for quite a few years. I even used to get chips from there to take to my wife in hospital. I’m so pleased that I can get a delivery from there now, as I am housebound. Really nice people and excellent quality of food. They phoned me to say that part of my order wasn’t available. I made a slight alteration, but when my order arrived I found that they had added some really nice freebies. This really is a lovely chippie

Fish and chips are a hard find in MK. The most filling and freshest combo is available at MK Fish&Pizza for £7.00, this includes a drink also. A clean tidy shop with good music and helpful staff to fulfil all requirements. Food was served in about 15mins and great happy experience overall.

Didt get any food delivery never turned up. restaurant was very unhelpful they couldn't do anything and didt really care . I've had to asked for my money back . Will not be ordering anything from mk fish and chips or just eat again

food was stone cold. delivery driver got lost. Even though I pin pointed my exact location. Just eat has really gone down hill and the drivers are getting worse

Our first time ordering. Absolutely fantastic. Everything arrived hot and tasty . The piece of cod was cooked perfectly and had just enough batter . Couldn't fault the meal or delivery. Well done and thank you .

My curry sauce broke open and wrecked most of the food. Driver handed it to me with a soggy bottom it was obviously squishy and wet

disgusting. not edable, chips too salty, kebab meat tasted off. nuggest were soggy. ended up in the bin and making beans on toast after how late it was. not going back. Will travel further for better quality.

Food luke warm. Menu is confusing as it stats buy one get one free. Your order two pizzas and only two arrived. Not inpressed

arrived on time. The fish was so over cooked the batter was rubbery. I had to use a steak knife to cut it open. Once open the fish was chewie and unedable. chips were very nice and was a good portion size.

The food wasn't delivered! The phone number directed me to a recorded voice mail with Just Eat and then the call was ended without me being able to speak to anyone.

Used to visit under previous owners, went today after a long day at work. Got home to find the cod was rancid and smelt horrific, like ammonia. Gentleman was very apologetic but I can't understand how a piece of fish that smelt so awful was even cooked. I only took it out the paper and my kitchen still smells after bleaching it, even the day after. I will never, ever return and have never had such an awful takeaway in my life.

proactively fixed an order error before I had even unpacked the food.

Short on order it was checked twice and still short. An order of 6 now with 5 meals to share between us.

Was so happy when they joined Just eat, as this has always been our preferred place for Fish & Chips and now we don't have to drive and wait for it to be cooked. Would certainly recommend them to anyone.

The meal was ordered to be delivered at 12pm. At 1.45 I phoned to see where it was. Apparently it was delivered at 12.16. I made it clear that it wasn't delivered to us. The person I spoke to said they would re-deliver. They did not. I look forward to my £19.31 being reimbursed. I will never use them again.

They did the best pizzas I’ve had!! And the chips were soo perfect! I would say better value for money and taste compared to most fast food joints. The staff were absolutely lovely too :)) definitely will go back and recommend to you all!!

Going to MK Fish and Pizza has completely transformed my experience with cuisine and the food culture. As I walked in, I was met with the most stunning atmosphere, a feeling I would not expect from a non franchise business. Customer service was impeccable, and I felt like I was received like family. Ever since our local chip shop shut down this has been our regular choice. We've tried a few other places but keep coming back here. Recommended! Huge portions of chips! Unfortunately on my most recent visit they messed up the order...

Ordered a large mixed kebab and large chips paid for that when I got home only to find I have small chips and a small kebab no chicken phoned them only to be called a lair by the lady in the shop then hangs up the phone on me wouldn't bother going back

Really good portion. Lovely chips and finally found somewhere near me that does cheese and onion fry it's! Look forward to trying more of the menu

Got a donner kebab in a naan and the naan was moldy

The takeaway has started to do pizzas and they were banging. ½ the price of larger pizza companies, BOGOF, very strong toppings, and lots of cheese. 4 pizzas for around £18. Went today to get some (28/04/23) - sadly they no longer do them?

Always freshly cooked fish, chicken, Spring rolls chips etc. So piping hot... But... Because you've got to wait - and that can be 15/20 minutes on a busy Friday teatime, bear that in mind if you want to get home in time for the 6pm news! 😊

Great freshly cooked food excellent fish

Chips are awful, threw most of them away. Fish extremely greasy but nice. Watched man cut the chicken meat then scoop a pile of it in his hands and carry it further down the counter, no gloves worn. Fishcake was put in with chips under the counter where chips are stored so if you are vegan, cross contamination. Pie handled instead of using tongs. Not very hygienic as bare hands all over the food. Been a vouple of times now and no better. Such a shame as last year, food was lovely.

Food is ok abit hit and miss but the opening times saying it is open and constantly getting there to find it is closed is very misleading and frustrating

Discussing chips burnt and fish greasy... got charged more then it was advertised also. Husband brought saveloy to eat was charged £11..... check before you pay and quietly of food... 🤮

2 regular portions of chips has never been such a problem! The most basic of orders and the woman in there didn't have a clue! Kept asking if I wanted one large portion, I kept saying no. In the end I just agreed to one large portion just to get our dinner! Salt and vinegar? No just salt, she smothers the chips in salt then shoves a load of vinegar on!! I told her I'd asked for just salt and she shoves another load of salt on!! Unbelievable! I told her I'm not having them so she cooked up more chips. Dishing them she says ONE LARGE CHIPS!!!! She'd cooked up one large instead of 2 regular. After all that the chips were awful!! These new people running it are nowhere near as good and the quality of the chips has gone so downhill I'll be taking my business elsewhere in future. Won't go near this place again.

Been going here for a couple of years now and its gradually got worse tbh. Fish is ok buts its got very hit n miss with chip quality, they're either good or a bag of overcooked bits. Time to find another chippy

Great food, large portions so maybe think about it before you order, 2 fish and a large chip is more than enough for 2+. But depends on how hungry you are?

Brilliant service and excellent food. Good sized portions. They also provide a service to the homeless and vulnerable in Central Milton Keynes by giving freshly cooked free food to them through a national NGO called Langar Aid once a month. Great work Pete and Team

The fish is cooked to order, it is cooked very well with light non greasy batter. Chips are very nice too. Given that you have to wait while your fish is cooked, service is quick and friendly.
