MO Restaurant in Cotswold

Great set up. Lovely staff taking great pride in their menu. Some of the food was amazing, fresh, innovative and delicious. I wasn’t so keen on only two items. I loved the scallop, bergamot zest dish , egg and bread and butters were beautiful. Nicely presented and great value. Henry & Ben… I wish you continued success.

Ate here tonight Staying at Dormy house for a couple of nights Honestly we didn’t think the back garden restaurant at the hotel last night was that amazing so I was a bit nervous about Mo tonight Have to say I needn’t have worried We had a lovely evening Great intimate setting - only 8 of us (max 12) Nice company (2 American couples and 2 British couples so some good chat) Food was very good Some really craftsmanship and interesting dishes Wine pairing was delicious (quite small pours though!)

MO is a chef’s table style experience with an eight course tasting menu and an optional flight of wines. Four of us were joined by eight others. Ben and Dan were our chefs for the evening and JJ our sommelier. This was a fun evening full of creative tasty dishes which were prepared, cooked and served with enormous skill. Ben, Dan and JJ were very engaging and happy to answer any questions from the diners. If you are looking for a different eating out experience, you should definitely consider a visit to Mo.

This is experience was absolutely amazing & very personal. We were all told to meet in the front room at 7 where we were served drinks and nibbles. We were then in our groups taken through to the restaurant. All in all we 10 people. 3 couples and a group of 4. We all sat round a table overlooking where the chefs were working. They were very engaging and spoke to us all detailing every dish. The dishes themselves were absolutely amazing. 8 in all. A mixture of meat & fish. I am not a fish fan but every dish was so nice it was had to resist! We would definitely recommend this experience. For the price it is it is really good value for money for the experience alone! I would also recommend the wine pairing!

We experienced the Mo tasting menu whilst staying at Dormy House. It was excellent and the staff (two chefs and the sommelier) were great: friendly and professional. They all engaged with the group (of 10 in total) and made the evening thoroughly enjoyable. Every course was beautifully cooked and presented with an enjoyable wine flight to match. We won’t comment on any particular course because they were all so good. Flawless!

The food and surroundings are both fantastic, the best thing about it by far though is the experience! To be able to watch them finish the dishes off right in front of you, and to be able to ask the Chefs questions isn’t something you ever really get the chance to do. It is expensive, but for a one off special occasion I’d say go for it, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

What an experience my hubby and I had dining at Mo with 10 others. It was fun sitting beside other guests dipping in and out of conversation about the food and other things. The food was exquisite prepared by Skye and Josh in front of us with detailed descriptions about each dish, how it was cooked, the ingredients etc. The food was matched with some fabulous wines and JJ the sommelier again talked through these. The dishes were creative, beautiful looking and delicious! Thank you! Whilst it’s an expensive meal the experience was worth it - really enjoyed us and we were so well looked after!
