Amazing coffee shop, food was amazing, staff were lovely will definitely go back

This morning we had breakfast at Mola. It was great. Both the English breakfast and the Anatolin Menemin were excellent. And don't forget the service. So friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

This place was such a nice surprise! The halloumi wrap is amazing and I like the coffee. The staff are super-nice and welcoming. Not very busy, which is perfect for a cold & wet Saturday morning.

Fabolous place! We were on our way to Cote Brasserie when I saw this! Freaking awesome!! Lithuanian manager/waitress was absolutely stunning going around the place with full power, enthusiasm, smile & positiveness! Wow, Wow!!! Im truły impressed as ex-waitress myself. Thats a kind of place you want to go back. Has the vibe! Food fullfilling, large portions & very affordable! Definitely better than Cote in terms of quality & value for money. Little Gem in Old Street!

justed wanted to make a comment about last person that says waited 30 mins and left. Please you didn’t need to lie about you have been waiting 30 mins i have been serving you with two English breakfast and two different smoothies. If you had any problem i came as i have looked at everyone asking if any problem and if you was happy which you was i dont understand what people expect us to do more fly with wings and serve you. stop been funny. And im sure these type of people always come back. Put it in mind i dont forget people easily so watch out dont be embarrassed. ;)

Este restaurante estaba cerca de nuestro hotel y caminamos por él lo suficiente que decidimos probarlo una mañana para el desayuno y no nos arrepentimos. Su inglés completo es delicioso con buenos hongos, salchichas y su pan de masa madre es muy bueno. Mi esposa quería algo más ligero y se fue con la tortilla, pero era enorme, así que ambos estábamos rellenos después del desayuno. Sus precios son muy justos y tienen una buena selección de té, café y batidos. Ambos disfrutamos de nuestro té Earl Grey y tienen algunos buenos tés de hojas sueltas. Estábamos muy tentados por sus pasteles, pero no teníamos espacio después del desayuno. Mola está cerca del Barbican Centre y no está demasiado lejos a pie de Guildhall, Spitalfields Market o Leadenhall Market. La estación de metro más cercana es Old Street y hay un buen servicio de autobuses en la zona también.

A super place for late breakfast on Saturday. Everything we ordered - yoghurt, Mediterranean sandwich, cake, coffees - was top notch quality, delicious and nicely presented in this family run eatery. Highly recommended and this might become a regular for us.

Best eggs and coffee for a Sunday morning.

As a long standing customer this is the last time I will ever visit and give my business and money to this place. My husband and I have been coming to Mola / Iskele / Cozzo for over 10 years now and this visit will be our last even though we live across the street and always try to support our local businesses. Here is the reason (and it’s silly but serious if you are a longstanding customer or any customer). We came for lunch. We ordered our usual meals - eggs, shakshouka, coffee, pot of tea, and a slice of cake - total spend £35…. Now my tea happened to be overbrewed over the course of the meal and last cup was tasting bitter and unpleasant. I asked the server for some hot water to dilute the cup and add to the last bit in the pot to make it weaker and palatable. The response “no, we can’t bring you hot water. If you want it, you need to purchase another pot of tea at full price!!!” I was so appalled to say the least. This has spoiled not only our lunch but the whole view of the business. The server said “it’s not me, it’s my boss - the owner does not allow any hot water top-ups and requires a purchase of a new beverage”. Ok - fine… we just paid our bill and I walked away with a bitter taste of tea (literally!!!) in my mouth - and we vowed we will never come back here or any other restaurants owned by these people. Thank God for The pinch of salt across the street where our custom is appreciated and valued. Never ever have I experienced such petty and uncaring response for something like a cup of hot water… Gail’s refills my pot of tea without a quiver and with a smile on their faces when that is all I sometimes purchase there. The whole experience at Mola today just seemed very petty and money grabbing. So we are done with this business and their owners. Good bye!

Excellent food. The goat cheese salad is light and tasty, the espresso well prepared and the cakes are a treat. All served quickly with a big smile.

A good sit down cafe with some good choices of salad and bake potato. Reasonable rices and lovely service.Went with the family and my daughter who is ten loved the service, decor and food. Thank you.

I was staying in the area and was looking for somewhere to have an English breakfast the following morning. I visited café Mola and was not disappointed. Friendly service and a delicious English breakfast with good quality ingredients. They also do pancake style breakfast which a neighbouring table had, that looked lovely also. Would highly recommend as a great spot for breakfast

I was staying locally and came in here after seeing the reviews. It was a nice place and atmosphere however service wasn’t the absolute best. I kindly asked if they served streaky or back bacon and the waitress walked off mid way through my order to the back for nearly 5 minutes of discussion out the back and a disproportionate amount of frustration. When she came back she confirmed it was back bacon to which I warmly welcomed and ordered the eggs Benedict. Since I ordered, there seemed to be a slight change in the waitresses tone. Saying thank you to her would illicit a slightly sharp response which really dampened the good food and location. The food was delicious, but when I came to pay the people behind the counter asked each other “which table was it” and there was a couple of minutes searching on the till. Overall the food and coffee was great, the service wasn’t fantastic and certainly different from other reviews on here. I would recommend it though.

A great spot for lunch before a concert at LSO St Luke’s. Wonderful personal service. I only wish we had had time for a slice of the cakes, which looked delicious.

I haven’t tried more than a sandwich at this place but I was slightly disappointed. The bread seemed toasted only on one side. A bit soggy. The cheese didn’t taste like much. For £7.. not exactly what I would go for.

Great start to the day. Quick service with a smile, I had the pancakes with bacon and scrambled egg - the eggs were the best I’ve had in a while! My partner had the full English and couldn’t finish it all. Definitely recommend

Tried called several times and no1 was answering, the whole point of having a telephone number is so you can take orders over the phone. I was trying to save time as I’m on a tight schedule, ended up waiting for about 15-20 mins. I nearly cancelled it.

Stumbled on Mola while trying to escape the rain. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was everything we wanted, hot, tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. Coffee was hot too! Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.

I think the food is okay, but the ratings are a bit too high. The pancakes seemed like the ready made ones you can get at the lidl or aldi. Coffee was also okay-ish, pretty milky and cold. There are better places around here. Weird choice of music as well (?).

Truffle love is quite simply the best thing I’ve ever had on toast, and I eat a lot of things on toast. Also, kitkat milkshake, just beautiful when I needed a sugar hit.

Everything was spot on. Friendly welcome, helpful efficient friendly service. The coffee was the best I’d had in the past 3 days - so good we went back for more later in the morning. Breakfasts were delicious, freshly cooked and hot. There was one 1/2 size English breakfast (great idea for smaller appetites and an omelette with salad.
