This place used to be really good but not anymore. They’ve made their koobideh super thin that it’s actually noticeable. The second thing is they don’t add tomato with your meal which is odd every kebab comes with tomato. I had to ask them do you not serve tomato with the kebab anymore? Which he replied we do so I asked where Isit? And he said he will go get it. Came back with two tomato when half the meal had already been done. Then asked us to pay in cash to obv avoid tax. This was a mess as I don’t carry cards and I wanted to pay for my friend and my meal which she ended up getting cash as she had card and you can imagine she didn’t accept my bank transfer afterwards. This is really embarrassing as I wanted to make her my guest. I used to come here a lot now I will avoid at all cost. You will eventually lose all your clients.

WORST PLACE EVER IF YOU ARE BLACK!!! We were completely ignored by the waiters, makes me wonder whether it’s because we were the only black couple in the restaurant. After seating down for half an hour, calling waiters who just went past our table, we decided to leave and never go back-they never even approached to ask whether we had been served. Never ever going back and definitely it’s the worst experience ever.

This where I always wanted to go and try the best of Persian cuisine it really 🤔 blew my mind amazingly cooked meat 🥩 in such a flavourful way, the aroma and texture is so potent where you could feel every bite a spacial taste , Perfect service and atmosphere, it got be tried. Really…….!!!!!!!!! Right this restaurant advises customers to pay using cash, they just forced me to pay my meal using cash to avoid tax. Their staff have a bad attitude towards customers, food quality dropped suddenly and sometimes they don’t cover your whole meal so you have to ask them to give salads. This need to be fixed ASAP…….!!!!!!!!!

Honestly I was really pleasantly surprised by this place! Well decorated, staff were on it, portions were HUGE, the food was actually really nice, and it was well-priced (on the slightly steep side, but well worth the price given portions. The bread was fresh and 10/10. The meat was juicy and very well seasoned. Rice was also fresh and buttery. I’d highly recommend! It’s also all halal

By the way I am abig fan of Middle Eastern food but definitely not what I had in this restaurant. I hope they can enhance the test of the food and the service and not take this personally.

This place continues to get worse and worse. Food is fine, service is non existent. Their little payment kiosk is always full of surprises, with preferences for cash (sometimes over insistence, or lies about their card machine connection going down) a guarantee. Not sure it's very genuine to have a lunch menu at the front but not explaining that the same dish can be ordered at lunch with two sizes. Why should I have to go through two menus to understand their rules. Sadly it's amateur behaviour. Just not worth the hassle and shoddy experience. Sorry guys, get some help for front of house.

Food was ok, nothing special. What irritated us was that we were asked to go to the front desk to settle the bill. In doing so , they told us that only cash payments could be made that day (last week). The waiter pointed to a cash machine across the street suggesting where to go to withdraw cash. I DON’T USE CASH !!!! It’s 2024 !!! I also had heard that this was not the first time “their credit card connection was down”. It comes across to me as a ploy just to receive payment in cash. You’ve been warned folks !!!

On the positive side, we appreciated the prompt preparation and freshness of the food. It's unfortunate that your request for well-done kebabs was ignored. When dining out, it's important for restaurants to accommodate reasonable requests, especially when it comes to food preparation preferences. Looks like our waiter did not communicate effectively to the kitchen staff. Several aspects of our visit that detracted from our enjoyment. The lack of space between tables caused discomfort. The constant presence of waiters around our table felt intrusive and created a sense of being rushed through our meal. Additionally, the mandatory 10% service charge felt excessive given the overall experience.

The restaurant served naan, appetizers, and zoolbia banieh without us ordering them, which added to the bill. My total should have been £102.90, but I was overcharged by £51.32. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. The food was ok nothing special. The service was really poor. The waiters seemed not bothered about customer service at all. And the cherry on top was when asked for bill they said we have to go to front of the restaurant to settle the bill individually. We were a big group of kids and ladies and they said we don’t accept cards and when I said I don’t have cash the lady said Apple Pay is fine. It was a non sense and probably tax fraud they are up to. Please don’t visit this place as there many many Persian restaurants which are amazing food and service and they care about customer satisfaction

We've visited Molana multiple times for dinner, and it has become one of our favorite spots! Every visit is a delightful experience, and this time was no exception. We ordered Kobeydeh with Naan bread, and as always, it was delicious. The Kobeydeh was flavorful and tender, grilled to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the soft, fresh Naan bread. We also tried the Doogh and Persian Ice Cream—both unique and absolutely amazing! The Doogh was refreshing with just the right hint of salt and mint, while the Persian ice cream was rich, creamy, and had that distinct taste of saffron and rosewater. It was unlike any other dessert we've had and definitely worth a try. The ambiance at Molana is warm and cozy, with a very welcoming vibe that makes the dining experience even better. I recently visited this place and ordered the mix grill, and I have to say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was simply terrible. The chicken was dry, tasteless, and felt far from fresh, while the salad was a complete disaster – limp, flavorless, and barely edible.There was no fresh air inside, making the whole place feel stuffy and uncomfortable. I regularly come here, and so does my family. However, recently the place has been poor, and so is the customer service. Lady over the phone, does not answer phone professionally. She is the only one that tries to charge me for any extra sauces when other members never does so. It has always been complimentary. Last time I came, they have mixed up my order and the gentlemen said “I will sort you out next time you come” I have even tried to explain this, but yet she STILL refused and doesn’t even try to check internally. She is acting like her life and job is dependent on that extra charge. She struts around the restaurant acting like she owns the place. Lost a loyal customer due to her poor attitude, and will also inform my family not to come back here due to her poor customer service. That was the cherry on top.

This place has finally hit rock bottom. We came in—foolishly—with high expectations, as usual, but we clearly overestimated the ability of the staff to deliver anything remotely decent. Right from the start, the attitude of the staff was unbearable. Most of them strut around like they own the place, as if they’re too good to be serving customers. I don’t know who they think they are, but basic human decency apparently isn’t a prerequisite to work here. Then there’s the food—if you can even call it that. We’ve been coming here for a while, and over the past year, the quality has nosedived straight into the gutter. But this last visit? The final nail in the coffin. The portions were insulting—a quarter of the rice they used to serve—and the kebabs? Practically hollow, like they’d somehow figured out how to serve air disguised as meat. One of the plates was so drenched in oil it looked like they were prepping it for an engine, not a customer. If I wanted that much oil, I’d go to a garage, not a restaurant. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the service hit an all-time low. The moment I stood up to put on my jacket—literally just standing up—the staff rushed over like they were chasing us out. It was like they couldn’t wait to clear the table, probably hoping we’d leave faster so they wouldn’t have to pretend to care anymore. And they didn’t stop there. No, they hovered around us, practically breathing down our necks, waiting for us to finally get up and leave so they could stop pretending to be “working.” We might as well have been handed our coats along with a shove out the door. It’s a shame to watch a place sink this low, but after this abysmal experience, we’re done. This is the last time we’ll subject ourselves to this circus masquerading as a restaurant. Good riddance.

By the time the food arrived, I felt like I’d lived through two seasons of a Netflix series and finished a memoir about patience. The kebabs? Let’s just say I’ve had more tender conversations with my Wi-Fi router. Dry, overcooked, and I’m fairly certain they were whispering “help me” as I tried to chew. As for the portion sizes—blink and you’ll miss them. It’s like they’re trying to redefine the word “minimalism.” The service was… interesting. At one point, I began wondering if I was on some hidden camera show where the challenge was to see how long we could survive without napkins or cutlery. Spoiler: I lost. Overall, if you're a fan of long waits, dry food, and service that leaves you questioning your life choices, Molana is the spot. Otherwise, I’d recommend trying literally anywhere else in Ealing! I’ve visited many Iranian restaurants across England, and I can confidently say this one is the best. The food was unique and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. We ordered baqali polo with lamb shank and qormeh sabzi—both dishes were flavorful, served in generous portions, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

II have been a loyal customer of Molana's for over five years. On Saturday, September 28th, I visited the restaurant with my family to celebrate my son's birthday. Unfortunately, the service we received was very slow and inattentive. We placed an order for starters and the main meal. Four out of the three starters arrived, but the fourth one was delayed by 45 minutes. When we inquired about the delay, the staff kept assuring us that the food would be ready in 5 minutes. However, this turned out to be inaccurate, as we waited for over 35 minutes beyond the promised time. We noticed that other guests who had ordered after us received their meals and finished before us. I felt somewhat disrespected by this situation, as it appeared that the other guests, who seemed to be from the same community as the staff, received better service than we did. Although the restaurant did offer a discount and an apology, I believe that this was not sufficient to address the inconvenience and disappointment we experienced..

The manager of this restaurant was super disrespectful towards myself. I asked him can I use the toilet and he said no. I stated to him that I am on my period and he still refused. I asked him why , and he said because I said no. I said I am going to be eating at this restaurant today and he still refused. He did not speak in a polite manner especially to customers. I would highly recommend eating elsewhere and spending your hard earned money to a business who really appreciate their customers and staff. He most likely woke up in a bad mood because he didn’t even seem to be bothered that he was being disrespectful. Why would I spend my money here when I can’t even use the toilet ! Useless man needs to find a job he actually enjoys.

Waiters kept being pushy and asking to pay the bill in cash, saying their card machine was broken. Saying they only take cash, which we were not made aware when seated at the restaurant nor is there a sign to say this is cash only. Another member in the group was told that payments are only in cash and to go to a cash machine close to Molana by the lady manning the card machine. Same lady is taking my payment saying their card machine doesn’t have good connection and that’s why they want cash instead. She was very rude in her tone. Card machine turned out to be working fine. This seems to be an ongoing issue based of other reviews that have had similar experiences. There are better Persian restaurants in the local area. Molana is overpriced and unpleasant.

I had come once before years ago. Returned with friends. The service we received when going to pay for our bill was terrible it put a damper on the evening. I liked my food but I don't think I would return. Also, If you are vegetarian there aren't many options. The evening started well, the staff helped us by adding another 2 seats to our table which we appreciate because we were a big party (10 total). The person who took our order was professional. I cleared my plate - the koobideh (£16.50 comes with rice and salad) it was decent. When we came to pay the man created such an elaborate lie that their card machine doesnt work and we must only make one payment by someone going to get cash and we transfer amongst ourselves (for a bill of £220). That's ringing alarm bells - why are you trying to force us to pay cash when there are no 'cash only' signs but you can take other card payments. He tried to make it our fault by saying you should have told us you want to pay separately. Yes, We wanted to pay separately - this is not an unusual request in 2024 and in this economy. A lot of restaurants have systems in place now to allow this. His lie didnt make sense because they could take other ppl's card payments but not ours? He was trying to gas light us - he should be embarrassed. This went on for 10 mins of him repeating this lie. Even his colleague was telling him off in their language it was clear from the body language. There are other reviews which mention they tried the same thing.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The food was of the highest quality, and the highlight was the carrot juice with ice cream – absolutely the best I've had!

The food is good and tasty, but the quantity of food is unfortunately small. For example, we ordered one skewer of shish tawook with rice for £18! And a glass of orange juice for £8!! Honestly, the restaurant is very expensive and illogical.

Rudest behaviour I ever had in my life. One female manager, I can't explain her worst behaviour in words. A lot of staff but no one gives proper response. instead of visiting this restaurant I'll go to hell next time. Don't run restaurants if you can't behave yourselves with customers.

I have been and returned to Molana a few times and always in a big group of 15+ friends and never been disappointed. Last night was no exception. Great food in generous portions was served with a smile and the staff really looked after us and though we seemed to have ordered most of the items on the menu there was consistently in great tasting dishes and everyone left delighted. We also had lots of extras like, Sabzi, maast o kiar fresh bread and the yoghurt drink Dough and tea and all were all just perfect. A recommended experience so much so that many ordered more food to take home too. Though I live 2000 kilometres away I always look forward to coming to Molana when visiting London. A big thank you to the staff for a great evening!

Manager was very rude, he was a tall huge guy. It felt very insulting when I changed my table to the next, upon asking from one of the guy working there, as my daughter was feeling cold. The manager came and rudly spoke, " why did you changed the place?" His tone was very disrespectful and harsh that he litterly made me scared and I could barely say that we were feeling cold there. Then he said, all three tables here have same cool air, as the air conditioner is right up there. He was made us feel as I lied to him. I was very disappointed as Molana used to be our fav restaurant but not anymore.

I visited the restaurant with my business colleagues. I have been visiting this restaurant for atleast 8 years. Even during Covid I use to travel all the way from Windsor for takeaway. Last night was the worst experience I ever had. Service was an absolute disgrace. Staff was rude, ESPECIALLY the woman behind the counter. I waited until she was off the phone to pay , she started literally screaming on another colleague in their own language. He came to me and said sir you can't pay by card, our card machine is not working. This is the customer service you have ? Staff screaming in front of customers . I went to get the cash, came back and saw customer in front of me paying by card. 😡😡. Disgrace , absolute disgrace. I was soo embarrassed infront of my business partners. Do u guys really believe you are the only Persian restaurant in the area? I use to go to Bahisht, Kensal Green but I started coming to you guys for food and atmosphere. There are a few more but I travel all the way from Windsor to Ealing for a meal. After last night's experience , I am not coming back. Don't GO THERE PEOPLE..........

Hi Its been years we had been visiting the restaurant. Yesterday I booked a table at 8pm for myself & family. After the dinner when I went to pay at the counter, the lady over there was rude. She didn't attended me and harshly called her colleague to take the payment. Her colleague said that their card machine is not working & they require a cash payment. I went to my car, picked my debit card and went to withdraw cash to the cash machine just opposite to the restaurant. When I returned to pay the cash at the counter, I saw them taking card payment from a Customer. I paid cash and then asked the manager for this hard time. He looked embarrassed and had no answer. It spoiled my mood. For the first time in the past 7 years I really had a bad experience. Particularly, the lady at the counter. Very rude.

I went to this restaurant three days ago with my family.The behavior of the waiters was a disaster, and the atmosphere was a disaster, while I reserved a table. I had ordered an appetizer and it was rudely served without it being on the tray and we were treated with disrespect, we waited fifteen minutes for bread to be served, and when we said that we wanted to cancel the appetizer, they were upset and treated us coldly, this was while they had forgotten the bread and the appetizer was cold.Despite all these things, the main dish was wonderful and I give only one star to the good food of this restaurant.I will order food from this restaurant again, but just to take way , I never try to eat inside the restaurant I recommend that you only order food and go to eat in the car or at home and never try this delicious food in a restaurant

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the service was going to be abysmal. We were given dirty cutlery, which is completely unacceptable. The staff were incredibly rude and seemed to have no interest in providing any semblance of customer service. To make matters worse, the food was fatty and cold. It was clear that no effort was made to ensure the meals were prepared with care. And to top it all off, when we went to pay, we were informed that it was cash only, a detail that was not mentioned at the beginning. This place is a disaster from start to finish. Avoid at all costs!

The food is really amazing! It was really good value for money and was packed full of customers, many of which seemed to be regular customers. The food was so much we ordered 2 3 portions for 3 people and took 1 portion home as we just couldn't finish it. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs.

Arkadaşımız iranlı olması nedeniyle bizi buraya getirdi ve doyası adana kebabına benzer safranlı pilav eşliğinde kubide yedik diğer avrupa seyahatlerimizdeki gibi aç kalacağımız düşünürken tıka basa yedik porsiyonlar oldukça büyük fiyatlar uygun kullanılan etten ötürü çok lezzetli denemez ama memlekete bu kadar uzakta bundan iyisi londra da adana kebabı.
