Morley's Chicken Watford in Watford

everything was cold. my 1st order there n will not order again. asked for refund it said I'd get £3!!!

Food was ordered at 19:45, with delivery between 20:15-20:30. Food was apparently prepared at 21:07 and was delivered in the next 7 minutes. Food was delivered cold, boxes crushed and dripping in condensation. Boxes fell apart.

The food was cold, I asked for no mayo in the burger it was covered in it and the burger was soggy and chicken was slimey cold no taste

Revolting. Feel sick after eating this awful food. Extremely low standards. I dont think its even safe to eat food with such low stndards. Such a shame because other Morleys branches are great. AVOID MORLEYS WATFORD. This place should be shut down.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Absolutely revolting. There needs to be some sort of hygiene inspection or standards inspection done on this place. The food arrived approx 90 whole minutes post time of order, all of it was absolutely cold. The chips were cold, and wings and burger too. The buns on the burger tasted like mould. The only consumable part of thr order was the canned drink. I hate wasting food, but for thr first timr in 37 years of life, I am forced to not consume this food and rather throw it away, thats how bad it is. I only ever resort to writing a negative review ONLY when things are that bad. This place was THAT bad. Absolutely disgusting. Im probably going to be sick from what I have consumed so far. NEVER AGAIN. Look at the bun in the photo, the chips look cold even in the damn photo.

Have ordered previously and food was ok. Today it was all cold and definitely gone down hill since last order. One of the meals was missing the drink - which despite saying it on the description didn't let you choose a drink so I put it in the notes and it was still missed. Unlikely to order again.

I have ordered from this place several times and there are always missing items.

The worst Morleys branch I've been too! The CEO of Morleys needs to give this Shop a visit because it's absolutely disgusting. Firstly, the bins were overflowing, the tables were extremely dirty, the floor looked like it hasn't been mopped or sweeped in over a decade. The food was horrible. I should have read the other reviews and avoided it completely. The chicken burger was stale, the bun was so dry and there was next to no flavour. The lettuce was very wet too. The wings were horrible. They looked slightly undercooked, and they were so oily. I am certain I wasn't even given the correct portion of chips. My friend had a Quarter Pounder Meal and had to bin half of it because the meat patty was so slimy. As much as you'd blame the staff for this, the shop was extremely busy and with the amount of delivery drivers waiting, it was a chaotic, hellish atmosphere. They are extremely understaffed, how was there only three staff members working on a Saturday evening which for any food place is one of the busiest periods of the week. This Morleys branch needs a lot of work, because it's damaging the brand. I've had other Morleys and it's always been 10/10 but this was a disaster. Please don't eat here and although it ain't fried chicken, Roosters and Pepes Piri Piri are much better than this place.

All food was stone cold, must have been sitting there for ages before being delivered. Really not happy. I’ve ordered from them many times before and never had a problem.

There's nothing fast about this fast food restaurant. It took us 40 mins to order and get our food. If we'd known it was going to take that long, we wouldn't have bothered ordering and left. The woman behind the counter was very rude. She was snapping at customers and when I politely asked her how long more the wait would be, she rolled her eyes and then went to get our food. So, obviously it must have been ready before then. However, she missed a box of chicken and we didn't realise until we went home because we'd already spent far too long in Morley's waiting to want to hang about any longer. The food we did get was alright but we were so hungry by this point, I'm not sure anyone should trust our judgement on this point.

well where to start, absolutely shocking worst chicken I've ever had stay away save your money the can of tango apple was the best part.

Please do not order from here. Unless you want stale, cold ,undercooked, tasteless food that takes 50minutes to be delivered!

Well they changed the order time 3 times. So they were on time with the 3rd change, but I was expecting it earlier.

Quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever consumed. The bottom of the burger was somehow still frozen AND soaking wet. Cannot wait for the food poisoning. Thanks guys

Food was freezing cold & they kept making our delivery time later and later. 1 hour & 20 mins for cold inedible food and £20 later.

The chips and chicken were not hot

Not as good as usual. Chicken fillet burger was slightly spicy usually it's not and the fried chicken pieces and french fries were over cooked and dry. Disappointing as Morley's is usually really good

I recently visited your chicken shop and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. While the prices are indeed cheap, the quality of the food was far below expectations. The chicken was dry and tasteless, and it’s clear that corners are being cut in terms of ingredients and preparation. On top of that, the shop was incredibly busy, yet there were only two people working. It was obvious that they were overwhelmed and unable to handle the volume of customers. This led to long waits and a chaotic atmosphere. Management seriously needs to consider hiring more staff. It’s frustrating to see that the demand is there, but the service and quality are lacking. Sometimes, you have to spend money to make money. Investing in more employees and better quality ingredients would go a long way in improving the customer experience. Until then, I won’t be returning.

AVOID. This was one of the worst places I’ve been to for fried chicken. I waited nearly half an hour to get my order. The chicken burger & wings were so poor and the chips were dry and flavourless. They didn’t even provide me with tissues in the bag. The floor is also weirdly slippery. There is nothing positive I have to say about this experience.

Very poor experience at Morley’s Watford on Sunday 20 April around 6pm. It was actually quite surprising considering all the other Morley’s I have been to were great. Firstly, the staff looked very unbothered. The shop was very quiet, but all the tables were dirty, there was rubbish everywhere, the bins were overflowing, it was disgusting. Secondly, the food. The wings were undercooked and tasted very mushy. I have inserted a photo of the Wings. I ordered a half pounder meal, but half the burger had to go in the bin. The buns were dryer than the Sahara Desert and were very stale. The patty was so oily and was sickly to eat. It tasted flavourless. They mayonnaise also had a weird smell so I binned that as well. The chips were the best part of the meal and tasted alright, but everything else was awful. I was expecting the food to be much better given how quiet it was and how other Morley’s have been great, but the food was a total disappointment. Overall, I strongly recommend that you don’t eat here at all, avoid like the plague!

2 chicken burgers...., made me wait 25 mins at the shop.

Usually great all round, today we had items missing from the Spicy Chicken Fillet Burger Box - no coleslaw was provided, instead we got beans which nobody likes and we ordered an extra portion of chips to come with the portion that comes with the burger box but again this is missing. Unfortunately no contact number allowing us to call so I've had to submit a request through JustEat. Disappointing.

everything was soggy and soft. no extra wings for spending 10 pounds. missed drinks and one of the expensive box meals didn't have the beans, with no substitute. never again. every piece of chicken was soggy and awful, not 1 crunch in any bite

No-sugar sodas would be nice (Diet, Zero, or Max stuff). The food was the same experience as the other non-major chains. You know what you’ll get.

We ordered Morleys yesterday and the chips were cold and even worse, my husband got food poisoning from the chicken yesterday and was violently vomiting last night.

My First time. Ordered spicy fillet burger meals and wings. Food was fresh and crispy. Wings so much better than KFC down the road.

I was in there for ten minutes without being so much as acknowledged, one of the customers threatened to kill someone else in the shop, and then some bloke barged past me and they served him first. Never going back, horrible service, horrible place.

This is the worst Morleys store by far, always having bad experiences at this store, maybe they need more staff. While he was making my food informed him on the last order they missed out the drinks but the staff member was not bothered by his reaction. They had some chips already fried, he put them back in the frying basket, refried them and put them in our meal boxes, not surprisingly the chips tasted bad. The chicken wings abd burger was dried out. For 2 meals he put in 1 ketchup and 1 Mayonnaise.

This is the second time they’ve served me off chicken, smells really bad. They shouldn’t be able to get away with this. This is a health and safety issue.

Disgusting i saw them microwaving the bbq wings which they were not even good and they season the chicken with their barr hands no gloves???!!!

Went there about a month ago, and it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a chicken shop in my life. There were only 2 members of staff working (this might have changed now), the floor and carpet was dirty and there were little bits of food everywhere. In addition, the chairs were definitely not compatible with the dirty tables as they didn't even fit beneath them. Getting to the food, just the worst. I ordered a chicken fillet burger and chips meal with 3 boneless strips and it was honestly just revolting. Although the chips were decent, the chicken burger didn't have much flavour to it and above all the worst was the 3 boneless strips as can be seen in the attached photo. Before I even took them out of the bag, the skin was falling off of them and the usual orange-golden colour of fried chicken was a lot more pale instead. Worse still, my first bite was met with a taste of fish! Took a second bite just to make sure and yep, fish again. In summary, avoid Morley's Watford at all costs - especially if you don't want food poisoning.

If you want to stink of weed and eat soggy Food soaked in sauce you've found the right place. Foods bad, staff slow and can't manage a the teens smoking right infront of there door.

I've heard about morleys and being so curious I had to see it for myself. I got the filler burger box meal which I was told came with fillet burger, 2 strips and 2 wings. (My order was incorrect and I recieved 1 wing and 2 pieces of chicken) unless the app is wrong? Either way - it wasn't what I had anticipated. The food arrived hot. The fillet burger was juicy with a light crunch. While I happily finished it - I felt like it lacked a lot of flavour. Moving onto the wings and 2 piece chicken - again crispy, hot and juicy. Well fried but again my issue was flavour. The overriding flavour I got was heavily salted, I didn't really taste any other herb or seasoning. So much so my lips began to pucker a little. The chips are standard you would expect from a takeaway joint. Arrived hot, fluffy on the inside, lightly salted. Beans were average - very sweet bbq flavour. I also got a side of onion rings which unfortunately, where overcooked but still edible. Overall it was okay! The box was very messy, chips covering the burger I had to dig for it. The flavour of the fried chicken wasn't great, as mentioned above I just tasted salt. On the plus side it arrived hot, was cooked well and certainly not the worst I've had. Probably wouldn't go back but it was worth the try for sure!

I grew up in South London so I'm familiar with Morleys and like their food, I used to love it so I was very happy to see a Morleys in Watford. What a disappointment, the two ladies serving weren't very friendly and were quite abrupt, the place looked like it needed a good clean and the shop is supposed to be new. I ordered chicken wings and chips and like some of the other reviewers my wings were undercooked and the chips were nothing special. This place is a complete let down to the Morleys brand and I certainly won't be going back

I was the only customer at 3 30 wings greasy but edible breast burger was hard and rubbery loads of fries problems the best part was expecting a lot more better places in watford
