Morrisons Supermarket Cafe in Mid Devon

Always busy but better prices than the other supermarkets. The cafe is definitely worth checking out too. Good value meals, service is great.

Not a single coffee machine working, again, and the toilet smells funky. The place is a shambles.

I went in to buy a few things , but left with nothing , i cant afford the high prices .

We travel to Tivvy Morrisons from Wellington because it's an enjoyable shopping experience

I haven’t eaten here before and as I have dietary issues hoped they would have something I could eat The only hot food available appeared to be breakfast so I ordered one . I went to get cutlery and of the six knives available every single one had dried on food on the blade . I picked the least dirty and proceeded to clean it with a napkin using some of my coffee . The rest of my cutlery was fine . When the food arrived it was generous but pretty unappealing, the bacon was soggy and tasteless, the scrambled egg tasted of nothing, the mushrooms way overcooked and the hash browns greasy . The tomatoes were fine as was the coffee . The staff were pleasant though appeared to need to work at speed to cope . I couldn’t return my tray afterwards because both trolleys were already full of dirty trays . Would I return, absolutely not . Finding dirty cutlery is a huge turn off, because it makes you wonder if the kitchen is clean

Lots of choice, can get really busy. Cafe staff great and food really good but very popular so not always seats available especially when "kids can eat free" nights.

Unfortunately the Tiverton store was very poor, 1. At 12.00pm 75% of bakery goods still baking and on trolley waiting for packing, shelves quarter full. 2. Either they had no staff turn in or what , but the shelves needed filling. There where cages of boxes everywhere. 3. The cafe was madness, tables completely full of dirty plates etc. Uneaten breakfasts left, trolleys of trays waiting to be taken in for washing up, the hygiene standards where terrible, no cups, coffee machine empty, no milk, display all messing , I saw one 2 members of staff, again they must of been short staffed. I spoke to a manager and he bluntly told me morrisons have cut back on staff , so customers would have to accept it Unfortunately. Very sad.

Popped in today as I was picking up a few bits from the supermarket… I had a triple cheese toasty which at the time I didn’t know was pre made & packed with some chips which I was actually really disappointed with by the time I actually got my food the toasty was lukewarm and not very nice tasting and the chips were uncooked with little black bits on which I’m guessing could be from dirty oil? Very unpleasant to eat actually and has put me off having any other food from there in the future.. not sure what the problems were but they seemed very confused as a team & ordered taking too long to leave the kitchen even as far as in wrong order orders

Supermarkets seldom differ markedly but the staff in this store are good. Always polite and helpful. The cafe is adequate. Again, much as you might expect except for acoustics. Always seems a bit noisey but not enough to put anyone off visiting.

Staff are Very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Plenty of bargain's. Cafe, toilets here. Baby changing and disabled toilets

Wet trollies plus no paper towels to dry the baby seat is annoying. I've been to a few morrisons in Devon lately, and the toilets have been utterly disgusting. Morrisons seems to be lacking in investment. Tesco has pulled ahead in my preferred supermarket. Poor show from Morrisons.

Always fresh nice food, compared to Tesco. Shame it isn't abit bigger store and a little cheaper.

Good produce, far too many self checkouts!

Popped in as I was in the area and there isn't a Morrisons in Bournemouth. This branch needs pulling down . Pretty derelict tbh

Normally the Tiverton store is a good Morrisons to shop at. Today the shelves were bare in many places and no staff anywhere to ask for help. Disappointed

The Morrisons Cafe Tiverton We are trying to stay positive. 🫢 This cafe used to be a clean, happy place - efficient friendly staff, and a good meal delivered promptly. Today such a shock at 2.40 pm. The floors were scattered with spilt food, the teenage staff seemed lost. Table menus tattered and dirty, coffee machines missing most drinks or broken down. Many tables missing. Condiments had to be chased after ( though as in many other shops - carrier bags, salt, pepper and other goodies are being stolen in bulk so understandable) There were plants and books on offer among the chaos …… what on earth has happened?

Could be better on the prices of items

Instore temperature is often quite cold compared to other stores

Good size store, well stocked. Petrol filling station has easy access too.

The breakfast was overcooked, and obviously reheated dry bacon, the latte coffee machine I was told not working properly as had blocked tube... but nothing done about it... restaurant filthy, chairs are a dried on food mess table sticky. Looking at baby highchair I WOULD NOT PUT MY BABY IN.. windows on inside running with spillages, floor FILTHY needs a good mop. Won't return. Probably too much cost cutting with staff.

Morrisons recently announced they were cutting back on self-service tills as they had 'gone too far'. Went in today and found normal tills slashed and self-service increased!

The place was clean and tidy. Staff very helpful and polite.

This store has changed and is actually really easy to shop in. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is peaceful

TERRIBLE, I just went to morrisons in tiverton cafe and bought a chicken and bacon wrap , there was no chicken or bacon in it.

Went into the cafe today. Largish family included three grandchildren. Advertising free kids meals looks good but oh no they are out of stock of most of the cold food for the children apparently it did not arrive on the order. So full price was paid. Very disappointed. The cafe appeared a little sticky and grubby and with staff who appeared to need supervision and guidance.

Ok, actually love Morrisons, sad but true. Get good bargains, Some products are abit more expensive

Only visited for vehicle fuel but seemed OK.

Toilets were broken, no door locks or paper, smelly, and tiny. Fuel station had diesel spilled on forecourt and no gloves available. Overall a disappointing visit!

Nice choice in over counter products, especially the fish and meat section.

No sandwiches, but everything bought was good.

Popped in for large fish n chips very slow service when it did arrive the chips were overcooked and cold went up to complain promised another bowl of chips which hotter and overcooked. Will definitely not be wasting my money in here again very disappointed with food. Time of visit 11.45am.

Popped in for 2xlarge fish n chips peas. Fish was ok peas are peas however the chips were cold and overcooked complained got some hotter overcooked chips will definitely not be wasting my money in here very disappointed loads of staff very slow service.

Sad I feel sad every time I go into a Morrisons stores because the lighting is very dull and I always feel I just want to get out instead of browsing

Sad disappointment. Food came up barely warm, no cups, had to ask for cutlery baskets to be refilled twice. Staff doing their best but clearly not enough of them, and something wrong with a system that was cooking to order and then unable to give any of us a hot meal. Also toilets: out of order signs men's and accessible, ladies clearly getting heavy use and inadequate cleaning, again maybe lack of staff.

Good selection of food, the meal deals are located at the front near the service desk.

Great supermarket, very good fresh veg with big variety. Usual good range of own brand food, recommend the fresh made pizza. Helped by the petrol station with usually low prices for fuel. Update, fuel now not such good price

Got most stock like any other supermarket.

Tiverton Morrisons had friendly personable staff in the cafe, the cleaners and even the bakery man who went out of his way to offer and wrap doughnuts specially for me and my kids. Loads of available self-checkouts tills too.

No cups available filthy tables no tea spoons dirty floor and breakfast was cold so we won't be going back again disgusting

My recent visit was for a spot of lunch, Kiera , sue and victoria made my visit a good experience and had lots of laughs together, getting lunch is a simple thing and when it's made a bit more fun it's lively, they accomadated my needs when things had run out and found me things from the back I needed, what a lovely team!! Great shop always have everything I need and more

The cafe at Morrisons is never consistent. They might as well say their menu is subject to availability. Today I went to Totnes at 3.15 for fish and chips. No fish available because the cooking oil hadn't been changed. Asked for the chicken meal, sorry no chicken I then drove to a bigger store in nearby Paignton.. Similar story no fish no chicken. Morrisons need to get their cafe supplies sorted.

Very impressed. Staff extremely helpful and all of the staff we spoke to greeted us with a smile. Plenty of offers on the shelves which were well stocked, which is so refreshing compared to other supermarkets in the surrounding area. The cafe staff were welcoming and cheerful and the breakfasts hot well cooked and delicious, Well done Tiverton Morrisons we will be visiting again.

Can be a great store some of the time. Car park is chaotic when busy and poorly designed when it was built this could do with a major rearrange then it will take out the hazards. Fuel station is a cross the road it sells fuel 24hr day. Staff are pleasant

Okay so I give 3 stars based on the supermarkets itself.. It's okay stocked. Not much staff around. The cafe tho minus 2 - 25 minutes for one small fry up to which I expressed some bits were missing to be informed by the staff member that they didn't have it anyway... It was filthy atleast 10 tables covered in food and leftover plates - Grim.

cold food, mushrooms out of fridge not cooker, poor quality except the toast, last visit twelve months ago when very good. Marked deterioration in food and staff attitude, Worst breakfast ever spoilt a family visit.

Hire more self checkout staff, it's been shocking for years!

Cold food, rude staff and tepid coffee. A supermarket cafe with no artificial sweetener. When I requested some a member of staff suggested I use sugar instead. This not long after I had my toes amputated caused by diabetes. Duty manager was called and after I suggested he was talking nonsense similar parliament he barred me from the store. Not that I want to go back but it is the very first time this old army veteran has been banned from ANYWHERE. The staff, standards and service at the store need a big big shake up starting with the manager.

A rude and unhelpful employee at customer service , talking over customers to another colleague. I only used customer service to pay for some flowers as only 3 checkouts in use and all self-service tills all in use .

My husband and I were in Morrisons Tiverton earlier today. My husband went up to a manager to let him know there was no loo roll in the gents. He was very rude and unpleasant to my husband. He was really upset by this managers behaviour. I shall be staying away from this supermarket.

Morrisons Tiverton was a bit of a disappointment.....no problem with shopping but the cafe and toilets were of a very poor standard.

Very poor quality vegetables bakery nearly empty at 8 15am Meat counter staff so slow and thought it opened at 9 not 8 general store a right mess and manager couldn't care less

Vile lady behind customer services that was more Interested in checking her social media than delivering customer service. Would never visit this store again due to a bad experience with this lady - should be ashamed to have her as the face of Morrisons at the forefront of the customers and should be working out the back in a non customer facing role.

I saw the way the store manager spoke to staff today. Firstly, dressing down staff in a really loud booming voice in front of customers is really quite unprofessional. Secondly, that man is definitely not getting the best out of people by treating them like that. Hopefully someone from head office reads this and sends him on a 'how to be a manager in the 20th century' training course.
