Mr Chip Fish Bar and Chinese Takeaway in Norwich

I have been coming here for years , but different chefs there tonight. My large cod was 75% raw fish. Chips congealed- so disappointing. I won't use them again for fish & chips. Threw away in some bushes perhaps the foxes will enjoy. Perhaps they should serve sushi? I will try them for perhaps Thai food which is also offered.

Highly recommend this place! Definitely recommend the salt and chili wings and prawn toast.

I regularly go here for the fish and chips. It’s always cooked fresh and the chips are delicious. I decided on the Chinese menu tonight which I’m now regretting. I found it very bland with overcooked noodles. Stick to what you’re good at.

Twice I've been here and rice ive walked out because he hasn't anything cooked including the all important chip's. It's not hard to run a fish and chip shop you just need stock ready for sale!

Mr Onion Overall I'd say this was good value but personally I feel like everything just lacked flavour and the heat I anticipated. After a full order i was left highly disappointed some of my friends have said it was one of the best takeaways they've had. Nothing I ordered stood out apart from the banana fritter however, perhaps I just ordered the wrong dishes. Although cheap my meal was around 50% onion some of which was barely cooked. Despite this friendly staff and speedy service form a consolation along with the fritters helps get the overwhelming onslaught of onion out of my mouth.

Used for years now, best Chinese takeaway in Norwich and best fish and chips.

FOOD POISING!!!!! My girlfriend and I ate here and had food poising. Both violently sick in the evening and night after eating from here. Called to discuss no answer and no call back from them

Best fish and chips in a long long while. Fish white large flakes, batter light and crispy. Chips fluffy and not greasy. Lovely friendly staff with a smile

I tried Beijing duck from some restuarants in London before but I think Beijing duck from this shop is more tasty. And roast pork also tasty.

This chip shop and Chinese takeaway is the best. Their Salt Chilli Chips are inspired.. beautifully cooked fish everytime.

Banging fish and chips, cooked fresh & good prices!

Ordered a set meal for two and my god there was enough for four people. But besides that it was a very well cooked and tasty meal and will be ordering my Chinese food from here in the future.

Excellent place to pick up some traditional Chinese food. It might be called Mr Chip, but it's offerings from the Traditional Chinese section of the menu are delicious. Highly recommend the pan fried dumplings if you like Gyoza or Dim Sum, though I added soy and sesame oil to the dipping sauce. The fried beef ho fun was delicious and excellent value. The kids weren't as keen on their sweet and sour, as the sauce was less thick and sweet compared to others, but I liked it and chances are it's got a few less calories in as a result.
