We ordered food for 40 people for a lunch event at home. Every item was freshly made that morning & packed well. All our guests had praises for MTR Rayners Lane as they scoffed through the delectable dishes. Thank you MTR for the great service & authentic food.

Dinner at Malliya Tiffin Rooms We had the Idily and Vada for starters with chutney and sambar, portions small and Sambar poor quality Main ate Ghee Dosa , a Rava Masala Onion Dosa, well spiced with Chutney and Sambar, again small chutney portions, only green , no red and orange, and dhar sambar, not a fan Dosa was incredible. Topped with a Bangalore Coffee, rich, dark, buttery and piping hot. Very Indian Coffee.

Excellent food.. been to MTR Bengaluru and similar cafe style south Indian food. Small menu, but nice, decent food. Staff polite and friendly. Would recommend to go there again

Delicious food - we had the onion rava masala dosa and uttapam. The staff were gracious, friendly and super helpful, coming back to check with us about our order when we'd made a mistake. There are other popular dosa places around, but I will be returning here. Its simple, non pretentious and delivers on its basic yet authentic menu.

Only reason I am having to leave a bad review is due to reckless use of excessive butter/ghee in some of the dishes, while not publishing calorie count. Badam halva we ordered came as small lump in a bowl of ghee.

Just wow, the food here is incredible. I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food, and in a lot of really good, authentic restaurants, but this is the best. I played it safe and opted for the Masala Dosa. Heavenly, like nothing I have ever tasted. You will not be disappointed!

Today i bought £14 from this shop take away but when i started to eat its too oily and over spicy. They dipped already one time fried samosas again in hot oil to make it hot and kachori was over cooked only i liked is puff and vadapav.

16 Church RoadI had hosted a B'Day Party for my Son. While I wasn't happy with the arrangements done and what restaurant had promised me to deliver but what was more frustrating that I was over-billed. At the time of payment, the cashier told me that their till-machine is not working and hence just did the total on the calculator, which was incorrect. Since, I didn't had the receipt, I didn't realize that I ended-up paying about 15% - 20% extra money and realized only after I came back home. Since, then I have called hotel may times and sent them an e-mail as well but no response from their end. It's not a matter of 40 pounds that I paid extra but the intent and the courtesy demonstrated by the restaurant manager & staff. Disappointing when have a feeling that someone has tried to cheat you...may be unintentional but not correcting their mistake

27 Station RdWe were on our way to the British Museum and stopped in for lunch. Admit we haven't had Indian cuisine for many years but heard that London had good Indian restaurants and thought that we try one. This was not the one. We had their curry, my wife the chicken and I the lamb and with rice. If we were not famished we would have walked out. We eat a different kind of curry but this was just not in our flavor zone at all. Because of the curry we decided not to try anything else and just paid and left.
