La joven con el pelo oscuro me sirvió, ella era cálida y acogedora, explicó que los hornos se habían roto arreglándose al día siguiente, todavía tenía una gran elección de cosas dulces. Tengo un delicioso brownie de selva negra, tan suave, espeso y delicioso, no mucho cerezo, realmente rico. También la tarta de chocolate súper suave, capa gruesa de chocolate, galletas manchadas y mi tarta de queso de galleta favorita es perfecta, muy recomendable. Había sido un día ajetreado, con hornos que no funcionaban uno pensaría que estarían estresados. Sé que lo haría, pero eran animados, felices, agradables y parlanchines. Solo un ambiente tan agradable y un equipo amable, enorme gracias a la joven que ordenó mi orden de pastel, mis hijas y amiga estaba zumbando 😀

Llamaron por un café y algo de comer, Huevos Benedicto llegó huevos fritos no escalfados en un bagel duro con jamón no es lo que esperábamos con tanta salsa que prácticamente cubrió todo el plato, el personal nunca sonrió y uno de ellos se quedó allí masticando chicle mientras ella tomaba nuestro pedido y preparaba nuestros cafés, nunca dijo por favor o gracias cuando pagamos.

Excelente servicio una vez más, fue en el último minuto todavía una gran opción, el hombre que sirve fue más allá, amable y acogedor. También hice un pedido al día siguiente y no pude entrar, él fue comprensivo y lo arregló para mí, mis amigos que era para que era súper genial y amaba magdalenas y magdalenas. Recomiendo encarecidamente duffins , y tarta de queso biscoffe, el personal es siempre acogedor y hacen todo lo posible para ayudar. También en 1 cosa de la calle para un café, cálido saludo de bienvenida de la señora joven, a pesar de un poco temprano 😀 Recomiendo encarecidamente la comida, café y batidos x

Absolutamente excelente servicio, llegamos un poco temprano, pero la señora era encantadora. Y dijo que podíamos sentarnos y fue directo con nosotros, mi hija tuvo un batido, yo tenía café con leche y ambos habían tostado té, los tés era tan agradable manera perfecta de comenzar el día, bebidas perfectas. La señora acababa de regresar de sus agujeros, siento no saber su nombre cabello rubio joven, alto, es encantadora, siempre tan acogedora, nada es demasiado problema, un enorme agradecimiento por el gran servicio 😊

Anche in Inghilterra si può trovare un ottimo caffè espresso, e io l’ho trovato ad Hull, in un centro commerciale. Ottimi anche i dolci e i cookies. Molto buoni anche i prezzi.

The Team are lovely, the food is delicious with so much choice for all. The biscoffe cheesecake is the best I've had, it's so creamy & delicious. I normally have a latte, but stayed a little longer this time had latte delicious but also had a mango think it wax a 5 smoothie , sooo good. Highly recommend for lunch or snack, easy to find easy to get into, nice seating areas, food is delicious and great staff. Thank you 😊

Popped into the Muffin Break whilst visiting Hull on a Sunday morning whilst waiting for the museums to open. Only had a pot of tea but it was pleasant enough, staff were friendly, the place was clean and tidy, not much else you can add really. Would use the place again if in the area.

The staff are always unpleasant, uninterested. Half of the place is always closed off well before closing time. Always get the impression they can't be bothered and are rushing you out way before official closing time. Overpriced too compared to other coffee shops/cafes nearby.

They have some unusual and tempting snacks/sandwiches etc, but twice we have been in and had to have papercups/plates well before closing time. The last visit was an example, it was 3.25pm they advertise they close at 4pm on Sundays. There were at least 6 members of staff, not enough to wash pots ?? Ate our cakes and coffee with the staff sweeping and stacking chairs around us. Only a small section open, not enough tables for the customers queuing, some walked out, others ate outside. Toilets were in the closed area. Isn't this the time customers call in after a shopping trip? If they advertise open till 4pm do their cleaning AFTER the doors are closed. Try coffee delight, they offer a much better experience.

clean tidy prompt service at tad expensive but no different to others, however coffee was far richer than the competition. Muffin availability was a bit low at 2oclock. The stand out feature was the owners super table service which made for a pleasant visit.

Very unwelcoming staff Overpriced sandwiches asked for my panini to be warmed up but was still cold in the middle. The waitress who brought our drinks to our table couldn’t have been less interested in serving us and as she walked over to us at speed she had spilled a lot of coffee into the saucer. I had to use the WC which had dirty sink with brown unsightly limescale around the plug hole. NO soap in the dispenser. Needless to say we will never go back again.

Popped into muffin break with the kids for drinks , got charged £7.60 for 2 small bottles of oasis. We was gonna go back for cake but not at these prices. Overpriced and miserable staff. Won't ever go back. John & kids

Don’t usually stop for refreshments when on my own but been lots of times with my family. So stopped for coffee which I love in here and was tempted by the sweet chilly wraps . They were so good. Must make a note to go more often.

Good hot chocolate, good tea, great cake, very large slice. Only one criticism, hot food left to go cold waiting for drinks to be made.

No idea this was open not having visited Hull recently Chilli chicken wrap, Orange and cranberry muffin and hot chocolate all served quickly, efficiently and with a smile Just what I needed for lunch whilst sales shopping.

Called in with Hubby, lovely hot coffee but was disappointed in the scone they’re a lot smaller and no longer get served warm.

Went today because the venue looked inviting. Ordered cakes and drinks. Ordered small latte and large hot chocolate. Delivered the wrong drinks. Mistakes can be made, so took my small hot chocolate back with the receipt and they made a large one. However, all they did was tip the hot chocolate into a large cup and added more milk. It was an understatement to say it was the worst hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Didn’t want to complain again as I had already complained once. Just wondering, reading all the reviews on here that the management haven’t done anything about their customer service. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

Says it closes at 5. Arrived at 4.25 and were closing upo. Very disappointed. Why are they closing up early ?

Popped in for a quick snak ordered chicken and ham tortilla stack WOW really nice cheese was nice and strong tasted fresh cappuccino to a high standard and my wife got a muffin and that was nice to friendly staff as well

Rubbish. Went there as a coeliac because advertised good gluten free selection of food - even had a notice on the counter stating had gluten free toasties available. However, upon asking was told no they didn't have anything gluten free.

I walk in and the cleanliness of the store is a delight! And I was greeted by a lovely member of staff at the till who had great customer service. All of the food that I had ordered was an absolute delight- I definitely will be returning here again!

So while my better half was in Primark next door, I popped in here as it looked good. On entering the range of muffins looked delicious and the scones lovely. I ordered a large latte and fruit scone with jam and cream. The young lady serving obviously didn’t like my pronunciation of scone and she corrected me? Anyway I went and took my seat and shortly afterwards my latte arrived (with chocolate like a cappuccino?) and the scone with 2 small packets of butter and small plastic jam. No cream? Anyway the coffee wasn’t that hot and was okay but the scon or scone however it’s pronounced was dry and terrible. I’d have needed a pack of lurpack really and maybe some cream. Wouldn’t recommend as there must be better options?

After the beacon centre in Eastbourne lifted its ban on dogs in the centre i took my little westie into town with me. While I was there i fancied a coffee and went to what WAS my first choice of venue Muffin Break. When I arrived I asked politely if my dog was allowed in and was told in a very rude way that she wasnt. I then tried to have a conversation with the manageress but to no avail as she quickly went to sit down to have her coffee. WONT BE RETURNING.

The staff here were so miserable! I’ve never written a review before but I couldn’t let this one go - The atmosphere was terrible...we found it quite funny tbh but christ...they had the customer service skills of a bloody spoon.

Only brought a drink staff was pleasent enough and friendly highly recommended. Took me a while to find but once in its clean tidy and great staff reasonable prices of cakes bakery and drinks. Looking forward to be coming again

So much to chose from . Pastries and cakes are fab. Lovely sandwiches and tortilla stack. This time I chose the spinach and feta cheese slice which was great, a little on the small side though. Coffee is strong which I love. Staff are helpful.will be back to try something different next time.

Having tasted a sample outside we decided to go in.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The white chocolate raspberry muffin was magnificent.The flat white coffee was declared the best.The wraps and sandwiches all looked wonderful.We will return for lunch and we suggest you do the same.

I was hungry and stopped in for a light lunch. The sandwich was fresh & tasty and the Coffee Excellent. The staff friendly and attentive. The best or one of the best coffee's during in my stay in UK.

One of few places for a coffee & cake before heading back to the car so called in. 2 americanos & 1 fudge brownie just short of £9. Coffee strong & bitter for our tastes but the server kindly gave us some hot water. We shared the brownie which was cakey/biscuity; not gooey unfortunately. BUT worst of all the music was SO LOUD and suited to a young demographic (which tea shops & cafes are often not) therefore we took it that the music choice was to suit the staff, not the customer. Eventually we shipped out to a table in the mall to get away from the racket. Not the best representation of the franchise, won't bother Muffin Break again.

Called into this place on saturday for a muffin and hot chocolate i had a caramel and mars muffin which was very nice the best ive had in years,will be calling again.

Came in today ordered the brownie it was so hard and dry I couldn't get the folk in my other half had the choc cake he said it was nice but the topping was too thick we also got two muffins mine a Mars don't think it was cooked long enough tastes really Doughie ended up throwing it away.

I went to this cafe/bakery to buy 3 muffins to take to work. The staff were immediately very helpful and asked what I wanted. After browsing I decided on my choices. The labelling of the muffins were good, as I have a nut allergy so had to ensure my choices did not contain nuts, the labels did advise if the muffin contained nuts. Each muffin cost around £2-£2.40. When advising what i was ordering the server Karolina advised they had an offer of 4 muffins for £7.00 which was reasonable. I chose this offer and bought 4 muffins - raspberry and white chocolate, mars bar, chocolate chip and apple and cinnamon. Once at work we cut up the muffins. Was a little disappointed to find that the inside of 3 of the 4 muffins were slightly undercooked and were still wet. The flavours were really good but baking time needs to be increased to ensure all products are cooked thoroughly. I would return to the bakery again but hope that they have resolved this issue by then.

Been here before and was impressed. The coffee is probably better than some of the places around here and the size of the scones sold it for me. There huge . Loved it. Last time I had cake . They look fresh and taste great. Reasonable prices and really nice helpful staff.

I stopped by for a quick bite as it was obviously new and looked nice and clean. I had a chicken and ham wrap stack slice for £3.90 which I thought was fair. This then went into the fast oven but when I started to eat it it was cold in the middle and got on the outside, I’m sure when the staff get used to the oven this will change though. The thing that really annoyed me though was that I ordered a can of the sample legroom orange juice and it turned out to be £2.30!!!!! How is that even possible???? So to some up it looks nice but there’s still some work to do on cooking the food and pricing the drinks.

Stopped for a coffee and a panini with my daughter at lunchtime. Whilst she had a chorizo and chicken panini, I was tempted by the vegetable tortilla stack. I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious, and so unusual. A lovely change from just a sandwich!
