Horrible actitud del personal. Le dije que pedimos Veg Manchurian seco, y recibimos mucha salsa... aparentemente, ese es nuestro manchurian seco que dijo. Además, le dijimos que el bhajya crujiente era muy salado, y dijo que no había recibido ninguna queja hoy en torno a que eran salados. Parece que las hacen desde la mañana y se fríen como cuando hace falta. También podría ser el chutney, pero no nos respondió... ¡muy mal servicio! Además, había demasiadas moscas alrededor del restaurante y no se sentía agradable.

Pedí un masala de patatas fritas de Wembley local de Bombay y al servirme pude ver un enorme charco de aceite. Me quejé con el gerente, Hiten, quien pensó que era normal y tomó represalias y dijo “las papas fritas se fríen en aceite, por supuesto que habrá aceite. ¿En qué los liberas entonces?” Y se negaron a aceptar su error de usar excesivamente el aceite. Mal servicio y hospitalidad. El peor local de la cadena en Bombay.

El ajo debe ser barato como lo era en abundancia en nuestra col y guisantes. Comida muy mediocre. Servicio desinteresado considerando el cargo automático por servicio. Pooris rebosante de aceite. No hay orgullo en la presentación thali. Deberíamos haber visto la bandera roja, restaurante estaba vacío a las 13. 45 . Pero otros 2 restaurantes estaban llenos y la gente esperando. ¿Cuánto tiempo permanecerán abiertos? Porque a los 14. 30 tenía tal vez 12 comensales. Solía ser genial, pero algo ha salido mal aquí.

Muy muy pobre, Le escribo para quejarme formalmente del pésimo servicio al cliente y de la inaceptable calidad de los alimentos que encontré durante mi visita a su sucursal de Wembley el sábado 8 de junio de 2024 . Durante mi visita con mi familia, pedí Chole Bhature junto con otros artículos. Mientras comía el Chole Bhature, me sorprendió encontrar una piedra grande en mi comida. Esto no es solo un grave incumplimiento de las normas de seguridad alimentaria, sino también un grave peligro para la salud. Inmediatamente informé de este problema al gerente de turno. Sin embargo, en lugar de abordar el problema y ofrecer una disculpa, el gerente me dio una serie de excusas. Además, cuando hablé con el propietario sobre el incidente, recibí más excusas en lugar de un reconocimiento del error y una resolución adecuada. Como cliente, espero un alto nivel de higiene y servicio al cliente de un establecimiento de renombre como el suyo. La falta de rendición de cuentas y la escasa respuesta a una cuestión grave son profundamente decepcionantes e inaceptables.

Service charge was made on individual items . We were not informed until we queried the bill. It was only then that a refund was made. Explanation was poor and confusing.

My curry was super salty. Second dish I had, was awful. Service was a disgrace. Overcharged Never go there again. Not a pleasant place at all to go

Please avoid this place. I ordered food and requested to keep it mild as I was with my kids. The food was super spicy. When I informed the staff that the kids are unable to eat due to the spice level, the staff started arguing that we did not know that you do not eat even this level of spice. No apology from them, as I requested twice for mild food. If they could not make it mild, they should have informed me in the first plate. The food did not taste good anyway. I paid for the food that the kids did not eat. Extremely disappointed both with the food and the staff behaviour.

Absolutely horrible. I ordered a Bhel. It was stale and uneatable. It was a takeaway. I rang the manager who said that this was normal. When i compared it with other restaurants and how their Bhel was. She put down the phone. So I rang again and again she put down the phone on me. Shows there is NO value in customer service.

The food wasn't good and the prices were quite expensive for the portion. We had to wait everytime we needed something to order. We ordered Hakka Noodles and it was more like sevvaiyan(noodles used to make sweet) . We ordered crispy corn it wasn't crispy at all just batter.

Please avoid going there. It’s the worst Indian food I had. They shouldn’t call themselves MUMBAI locals if they can’t even make authentic wada pav. Food quality is not that good and service is slow too.

Saturday lunch time, quite busy and service was not bad. Thali has cold tired Chapatti, salty bhindi and very garlicy. Bhajjia too was cold and limp. Unfortunately the garlic was also burnt. The faiths had loads of garlic which then found its way to the desert. Points to poor hygiene in prep area. Mediocre experience. Mandatory 10% service charge so staff have stopped bothering to earn it. Hope management wake up to the fact they are now one of the more expensive vegetarian restaurants. 1 shared thali, 2 lassi and Bhajia £48. That is steep, even for London .

I couldn’t get rotlo and undhiyu out of my mind today so had to stop by my home town and get my fix. I know there are so many places on Ealing Road but I just wanted something I knew would be good as the cravings were so strong! This place didn’t disappoint. Although the portions have decreased in size hence one less rating. But the service today was the best it’s ever been. Love this place for some Kathiyawadhi food!

My friend and I wanted to reminisce our childhood memories so decided to take a trip on Ealing road with lunch here. We had the rotlo the dhal with spinach, Chana chaat and paneer tikka all delicious and freshly made. I love this place!

Visited this restaurant for lunch while in the area and it was good. We had vegetarian biriyani and puri bhaji along with vada pav. The menu has plenty of vegetarian options and the prices are very reasonable. It was mid afternoon so we managed to get a seat with a minimal wait. Everything was good apart from the 12.5% mandatory service charge which was unusual.

Nothing! Awful service, cold food and very expensive, small bottle of water was £2.50. The service was absolutely appalling. Rude waitress and cold food and a diabolical behaviour. Not to mention a Chef who is incompetent. We were having our starters when the main meal came, we had instructed the waitress to bring out the dosas after we had done with the starters. She must have been annoyed at this and decided to ignore us completely the entire evening. What was worse was that other waiters joined her. So we were ignored completely. My son complained as we were sitting there for over an hour for the main meal and Being ignored by service staff. Eventually the dosas came but all five were COLD. If we were not the guests of the other party i would have cancelled the dosas and left. While having my main meal i needed a drink and unfortunately i asked the rude waitress for a Coke even saying Please. Yes you guessed it. Never came! I would not recommend anyone to go to Mumbai Local on Streathfield Road. I tweeted the owner. So far no answer. The rude waitress including the chef who sent out the cold food should be fired. I was craving some home made food from my families region so went here for a late lunch. Luckily it was crazy busy and I was able to sit and enjoy the food. I ordered the undhiyu, Vaghereli Khichidi and Bhajri Rotla! It really took me back to my childhood so so delicious! I could have just carried on eating. Service could be more attentive, also I felt although the food is good it is overpriced. But definitely satisfied my cravings.

Had good eating experience . The food was excellent and above standard. Drinks are bit expensive and the portions good. Overall good experience and I do recommend.

I came to eat here with cousin as a treat. No one came to take my order for 15 mins. The khichi came less than luke warm. Upon complaining the waitress argued with me and did not offer to heat it. We asked for 2 glasses of hot water which took over 20 mins to arrive....The main meal.. was ok

So we have been dying to eat Mumbai Local for ages. We normally eat at Harrow branch, which has excellent service, friendly staff and amazing food. But today we went to Wembley branch ........terrible service, miserable staff and awful food. The crispy corn was soggy and there was more garlic than corn, the undhiyu was cold and the rotlo was so thick, it could have been used as a doorstop. The passion juice was almost off too. Thank God I stuck to water.Awful experience. The staff were so miserable and unapologetic.I won't be going there again.Manager, please respond.

We visited the Mumbai Local on my family member's recommendation. The place is okayish if you are looking for ambience. However, the variety of Indian street-food offered in the menus, is overwhelmingly exciting. The prices match fairly to similar places around outer London area. Parking is an issue around, but you will always find one in the area after a but of effort. Staff are enthusiastic and family friendly. You will definitely not be disappointed by the presentation and portions of the dishes. Plethora of authentic flavours will surely tickle your tastebuds (dont forget to request less spicy food if you have sensitive tastebuds like me). And yes, don't miss the Puran Puris - (actually pooran-poli).Strongly recommended.

Had the Bombay sandwich with paneer here during a recent shopping trip. It was really delicious and different as I’ve never had Bombay sandwich with paneer inside. They also give a packet of crisps with the sandwich which is nice. However I think it’s very overpriced for a sandwich.

I have been twice and on both occasions I have found the staff quite rude. On the first occasion we phoned a few days beforehand to pre order our food without onions and garlic and when we arrived they said they cannot make anything for us at all. On the second visit they shut down the whole south indian menu and tried to charge us for food they weren't prepared to serve us. Even before anything had happened they were being dismissive of us. There are far better street food places around Ealing Road. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

Since its in wembley I arent able to go as often as we would like but whenever we do, we order sooo much from the menu to eat there and then as well as to get a take away too.The Grilled sandwiches are yummy, typically the paneer and the mumbai style one. Vadapavs are nice too.Chinese has Indo chinese taste which we love.Lemon soda is yummy too, along with the falooda preferably the rose one.We didnt like the paani puri much there.

I went with a friend and we ordered 1 channa batura, 1 plain dosa, 1 hakka noodles, 1 shezwan curry and Roti ) glass lasi and 1 cup tea. Came to £44! The lady at the counter didn't give us a bill, just told us the amount, we paid and left and than it sunk in its far more than what I would normally expect to pay!

Indian chaat, spicy as I like it, good variety of dishes, quick service, okay pricing - what's not to like? We've been here a number of times, sometimes they have to be told specifically to bring down the general level of spice ;-)

Very wide variety of authentic indian food to choose from. Due to the open kitchen, you can observe your food being prepared fresh. Very busy in peak times, so good to reserve table. Only the prices went up since they first opened quite considerably.

Cold food , slow service , avoid!!!! No happy with service very expensiv, waitress couldn’t speak English .

Great lunch and prompt service. Some special requirements were dealt with very well. The food was very tasty and great value for money. We will certainly drop in on our next shopping trip.

I ordered a take away of Mumbai Vada Pav and Masala Chips with Cheese, delivery was fast and easy via Uber Eats and you get a large portion size so it will fill you up.

I went in on Easter Sunday with my family, we ordered and 5 minutes later were told a particular item we ordered was not available. We reviewed and ordered something else. 8 minutes later we were told we couldn't have another item on our list. What is the point in having a menu when half the things on there are not available? We cancelled our order and went somewhere else. Mumbai Local, you lost out on £80 because of your incompetency. More than that you have lost a customer for life!

Looking for delicious vegetarian food, then this is the place. I have recommended this place at least 4 families and they really loved it. Must try!

This used to be a good place when it started out. However the quality has gone downhill in the past few months. The food is now greasy and bland. There aren't too many vegetarian restaurant around , so its a shame what's become of it. I hope to see it improve soon,

We knew the reputation of Mumbai local long before we decided to go there. Fabulous food, always busier than Victoria train station, great value for money - and so on!

Stunning Indian food served with enthusiasm and passion. No frills, just great ingredients prepared in front of you. I defy anyone not to over order. The choice is fantastic. The Paper Dosa is a spectacular,an experience and a must do. Having had the joy of travelling in India , this place is the next best thing.

Still wedding shopping in Wembley! Had a delicious lunch with hubby at Mumbai Local. Super busy , buzzy Indian Vegetarian restaurant with modern interior & 2 open kitchens. Has a really nice front seating area which will be great in the summer, if it ever comes! Loved the Bollywood posters. Great variety of Indian street food from chaats, pav bhaji, Kathi rolls, to South Indian uttapams, dosas & idli. Not to forget all the fried goodies we love like samosas, crispy bhajia, kachoris, pakora, aloo Tikki & mogo chips. Don’t go if you are on a diet. There are also Indo Chinese & pasta dishes on the menu which really is unnecessary as the Indian menu is so extensive. It takes 10 minutes just to read it all. Watched a chef making a ‘giant ‘ dosa whilst waiting for our food , very entertaining. We had a delicious vegetarian Thali , pani puri & kachoris chaat, washed down by nimbu pani, a lemon drink. Brought back fond memories of Mumbai. I only wish Brent council would fix their broken pavements . I tripped , went flying & sprained my ankle.

We went to try the pan bhaji, very tasty. We did try the chole bhature and also the thali. We liked them too. The fresh orange juice prepared in front of you is also a good drink to have out here. Prompt service and lots of vegetarian options. Will come back again.

Solíamos ir aquí y disfrutar de la comida, pero ahora el lugar apesta, tanto en calidad como en precios es horrible. Samosa Channa Chat donde la samosa nada en agua masala le cuesta 5. 90 GBP, Pav Bhaji @ 5. 50 libras esterlinas, seis pani puris con papas medio cocidas @ 2. 95 GBP y el mejor fue el Mysore Garlic Masala Dosa que no tenía nada, excepto las papas rellenas con un masala barato a 5. 95 GBP.

La comida aquí es tan deliciosa! He visitado las sucursales en Harrow, Wembley y Rayners Lane y la calidad y frescura de la comida siempre es muy alta y nunca decepciona.

Vine aquí para almorzar buffet thali con amigos, Thali era súper súper sabroso con cálidos chapatis encantadores! ! La variedad de curries eran buenos y el personal era dulce y atento! Sin mencionar que el planificador de curry es para morirse! Buen precio, comida auténtica! 10/10 recomendaría!

Vine para llevar y tuve una charla, y pido una tostada vada pav tostada, pero no estaba tostada y cuando pido que la rechazaran, y luego, cuando la pedí, la chica del mostrador estaba haciendo muecas. First time at this branch - we had been to Harrow before. Staff friendly, good prices. We had Chana Samosa Chat, Chana Bhatura and Chinese Bhel. All dishes were tasty but the Chinese Bhel was a bit hot for us!

Visited this restaurant with family & very Fast service with great tasty food at a reasonable price & suitable for all vegetarian people. We Loved the food and the staff was very professional and friendly in terms. Fully Enjoyed the service 👍

We had booked for 12 people and our table was ready on our arrival which was a little early. The only thing which was that large groups were seated near the cooking station at the rear of the restaurant so if you can put up with the heat and smell of the dishes being cooked then no problem. The service was attentive and the young lady who took our orders was very good she was assigned to our tables. Our starters all come together and were hot and tasty. We also had birthday cake which they put in cold storage for us and bought out at our request. The variety of the menu made it tough to choose our main dishes and our order did not disappoint as they were as we expected very tasty and the portions were a god size.

We went to Mumbai local today after a gap of nearly a year and the food was totally tasteless.

Went in to Mumbai Local yesterday on our shopping spree to grab a quick tasty bite. I must say we weren’t disappointed. My friends and I enjoyed the quick service and the delicious food. The staff were extremely polite and helpful too. All we now need is a branch in Chelmsford.

Visited their Rayners lane restaurant today with a friend. We ordered Indo chinese schezwan noodles which tasted funny and Bitter! Manchurian with gravy was sweet inspite of us asking if they put ketchup and we do not like it sweet. The Manchurian balls were very hard to break.

This is a clean and decently decorated palce. I have tried panipuri and papri chaat. The stuffing insider the puri is not great but the paani was excellent. Papri chaat was also very good. Sevice was propmt and sevice boyes are decent.

Super rude staff!! When we arrived we were told there is half an hour waiting, eventually we get a table after more than one hour! Turns out it is their closing time and the staff wants go home, so they don’t even have patience for us to go and sit down and they ask us if we were ready to order!! If you were so much in hurry to close you should have informed us when we arrived. They have table outside as well apparently for which you don’t have to wait, just order and they will serve you there! No one bothered to inform us that as well! If you are in so much hurry to close the restaurant then at least bother to inform your waiting customers!

Wow factor is missing on every dish we ordered. This type of food can be available everywhere. Nothing special.

Just wanted to try Mumbai Local (including their latest addition in Rayners Lane managed by Priyanka) as several others have claimed that they serve authentic street food, ready for disappointing fare! To our surprise, the food was excellent. Every dish we ordered (Misal, Ragda Pattice, Puran Poli, Aloo Paratha ... so on) was good. Hope they retain their Chefs, sustain the quality, service (Rayners Lane in particular) and ambience. See them grow as a quality franchise. All the best

Food was average. Not bad but not good either. Will probably try 1 more time before I make a conclusion.

I had actually visited this restaurant on its very first day of opening and remembered the great tasty food and great service. Fortunately it is consistent with just a few minor critisms but nothing major!

On a horrid rainy Saturday we were cheered up by helpful and friendly staff, we have been before but my son and wife had not, so l chose a range of dishes to share... still love the pani puri and Brel, the samosa chaat was a good choice too... we all enjoyed the garlic masala dosa and especially the cheese and onion uttapam, really tasty... also try the saag paneer and chapatis... The nimbu pani was lovely in a jug to share, very refreshing... overall an interesting and popular meal.. there is so much more to try next time... we are not vegetarian but certainly did not miss having meat!!

After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. We were a bit apprehensive as we had our two little boys with us, eating out with small kids is a minefield! But....it was brilliant! Kid friendly service, kid friendly options (super plain food, cheese toasteis, chips etc) and for us super delicious authentic Indian street food. For us it was like going back to India! My husband said it was the best Indian restaurant he had been to in London. Everything tasted so good. There was none of the usual greasiness or when everything tastes the same, it was just so moorish. We can’t wait to go again and try some more things! Such a great little find.

What a lovely find in the heart of Ealing Road , London’s thriving Indian community. Tradition South Indian food that tastes like it should and reasonably priced. A must if you are in this area.

We went for lunch as was busy so we decided to sit outside rather than wait 25 mins for a table inside.

Mi hermana y yo estuvimos juntos en Ealing Road inusualmente un domingo y decidimos parar aquí para un almuerzo rápido. El lugar tenía una cola enorme, pero porque nos dijo que no importa estar adentro nos sirvieron de inmediato. Tuvimos el biryani, chili paneer, mogo bhel puri, masala y todos eran verdaderamente delicioso. Las porciones eran enormes. Prueba los zumos de fruta fresca, son deliciosos. Me quedé agradablemente sorprendido de lo bueno que la comida y el servicio era aquí. Una gran opción en la zona.

Have visited her twice now, and the food is fresh and tasty, with a great varity of dishes from snacks to street food to mains and desert. The service is very good too. Good level of hygien, would highly recomend a visit.

Mi esposa, sus amigos y nuestra hija bebé visitado hoy. Este es el último lugar para la India y tienen variedad de alimentos en la calle indio también. Lo que hace es su excepcional local Mumbai de primera categoría servicios al cliente genuina. Son muy atentos y nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

A pesar de que fuimos hoy y un día caluroso esperar 15 minutos y acompañado por dentro. La comida era fresca y deliciosa! Tenía fideos fideos szechuan, haka, chili masala y Moho dabeli calentito. Las porciones eran grandes y todos comimos bien. Sin duda recomendaría a sus rivales Sakonis. Bien hecho, Mumbai local! No bueno. . .
