This is now our weekly go to, the food is fabulous and the staff are super friendly. Lovely vibe and atmosphere a real treasure in Rusholme.

Avoid at All Costs! Visited Mussarat’s on Wilmslow Road, and I’m honestly appalled. Two dishes had to be sent back because they were completely inedible one of them being the peri chicken, which tasted uncooked. The mango lassi was like watered-down juice, and the sweet lassi had an awful, off taste and also had to go back. The service? Absolutely disgraceful. The restaurant was half-empty on a Saturday night, yet the staff were uninterested and disorganised. When we wanted to add just one naan to our order, we were told we’d need to wait for another staff member because they couldn’t add it to the same order slip! What kind of system is that? The manager didn’t care at all about our complaints, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. Save your time and money there are much better options nearby. I say stick to camel one in Bolton

Amazing experience here at the restaurant, we had the special lasagne and sweet chilli chips. The customer service was exceptional, uncle abid went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and served well and the staff member sadia was also lovely! We will be back thank you! :)

Shakeel was an amazing host, first time I come I got recommended the restaurant the food was spot on no faults at all the chicken and lamb.. was so soft and juicy and beautiful spicy. It was great for the price very reasonable

The food was okay, we ordered the dynamite prawns and they were not battered, this was replaced with another item as they said they no longer do battered prawns. Overall the food was dry & not very tasty. Butter chicken was okay but have had better. The service was amazing though and lovely staff.

Quick service and tasty food and hit the spot. The food is flavourful and spicy. If you like mild ask them to adjust the spice - they are so helpful.

The restaurant is situated on a vibrant location. The food is off good quality and the service is likewise. I have visited this restaurant a number of times and my experience has always been good. 99% of the time, the food is on point. However the service and the atmosphere is great 100% of the time.

we was enjoying the views along Wilmslow Road until a staff member from Mussarat’s approached us, promising an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by both the service and the food. The service was terrible—we waited endlessly for chapatis, and by the time they arrived, the dishes were cold. Overall, I was very dissatisfied. Despite its claims of being a halal establishment, I had to ask twice just to be certain, as we didn’t want to consume anything that wasn’t halal.

Hi, i really want to appreciate the customer service.. ordered butter chicken which was not That to standard but they changed to lahori chicken handi as i said wdt any charge.. customer service was nice. Changed roti as well without saying while we waited for new changed dish. the main food postive was their Fish... which was really tasty but a little portion in this price. Overall Ok because of Customer service. food i dont want to comment much.

Terrible food. Will not recommend it to anyone. I was told that they have given me a discount (which they didn't) for just Chicken strips and chips as they categorised it as a stake and charged me for a full stake.

As soon as I came in, I felt the warm and nice air of the restaurant, straight away I was greeted by the kind staff who led me to my very luxury table, I looked through their menu which had plenty of choice, from lasagna to biryani, I chose the jalfrezi, the food came quickly and was instantly greeted by the amazing aroma of the curry and all the spices, I ate it all! When I asked for the bill the staff were very kind and quickly brought me it, it came to a very good price, the best price I have seen so far in the country, as I left they all said goodbye and I left very satisfied with the food I purchased and felt I had a very good connection with the staff. Overall the food was amazing and the staff was great, I will definitely return here!

The food was great everyone enjoyed their meal and it was reasonably priced. Also there is a prayer area upstairs. The only thing I would fault is that the vegan karahi is described on the menu as "Plant based chicken style pieces" which gives you the impression there will be vegan chicken pieces however there are none and it's just vegetables. The staff apologised as they said themselves it is misleading but overall it was still good to eat.

Food presentation was good. Service was good but food was absolutely awful! Chicken was like a cardboard! Owner of the restaurant humiliated trainee front of customers and other staff which was disgusting! Pay respect earn respect Poor guy was on training and was new but didn’t deserve to be treated like this

So sad to be leaving a negative review but quite disappointed with the experience. The ‘special’ biryani tasted off by a day or two and the lasagna seemed to be cooked from frozen! Overpriced and overrated.

Such a beautiful food and lovely cooperative staff always makes so much delicious food dishes same our Pakistani traditional food. Highly recommended

Customer service was zero, we had to ask for menus after getting table. We literally asked couple of times and staff was not sure what to do. Food taste was not authentic at all. Waste of money and I end up going in hospital next morning. Had food poisoning. Worst experience ever

The food was average. Additionally, I think they should clearly indicate which items are complimentary and which ones are chargeable. They served us poppadoms as a starter, but we were surprised to see an extra £5 charge for 3 poppadoms on the bill.

Amazing service and delicious food - quick and tasty!

I fell ill right after visiting their restaurant during eid ul fitr week. The prawn cocktail and palak paneer did not taste fresh. The service was very slow too. Only one server and the food arrived late.

First time visiting this place and I’ll definitely be back again! The lamb chop starter was good but the mains were even better. I got the chicken karahi and would definitely recommend it. The food was all fresh and hot. The service was also great, our waiter Khan attended to our every need.

We visited to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day and have dinner. The food was average, but the experience was dampened by one staff member. He was a British-born Pakistani who expressed negative sentiments about the celebration, saying, "Go and celebrate in Pakistan." It was disheartening to witness someone from the same heritage displaying such hostility toward others celebrating their country. I understand we're in the UK, but it’s sad to see someone reject their own roots and show disdain for their own people.

Had the mixed platter and chicken fillet burger meals, were better than I expected. However the chicken fillet burger and a sauce that tasted very perfumy. The burger was nice but it wouldve been better without that particular sauce. The mixed grill was really nice, lamb chops were excellent. Really enjoyed them. It had chicken wings, the kebabs were also tasty.

Mussarat's Restaurant - Takeaway food - Rusholme, Manchester A Big Disappointment!... Went to Mussarat's yesterday for an evening meal with family. We were greeted and taken to our seats quickly. A variety of meals & drinks were ordered and the food was received in around 25mins which is roughly expected in Rusholme. The quality of the food was Extremely Disappointing!.. Mix Grill was a bit 'dry' and curry's were just 'passable' for Rusholme standards. The rice given was Awful! (dry & still hard with no taste). The customer service received was good but others in our group felt as though we were being rushed to order the food. We were also offered a plate of Popdoms which we accepted, but in hind-sight probably not worth it - It reminded me of my experience of Rusholme back in the 80s/90s when most Takeaways/Restaurants would offer these. I also noticed that there were many unoccupied/empty seats in the restaurant which is usually a sure sign that things may not be so great here! I would recommend Mussarat's Owners have a closer look at the QUALITY of their food that comes out of the kitchen and ask themselves > WOULD THEY EAT IT?? In comparison - I was in Torros Restaurant the week before also in Rusholme where my experience of the food received was Much Better - I would give Torros a 8 out of 10 (8/10). My Overall Score at Mussarat's Restaurant is: 2 out of 10 (2/10)

We came here, expecting the highest quality steak. Not only, did it smash our expectations, it was the best piece of meat we have ever consumed. The service was exceptional, and an amazing option to go for instead of the usual MyLahore. Would definitely recommend .

We went here yesterday for some food, when we walked in, we were immediately greeted and taken to our table, where we were asked what we wanted to drink, the prices of the food and drinks were very good and everything was perfectly priced, the service was absolutely incredible and the staff were very kind and didn't approach us during our conversation. The toilets were extremely clean, which is something you don't usually get at an Indian restaurant. Would recommend to anyone wanting the authentic Indian food but not wanting to go to a street café, we would 100% go again! Keep up the great work 👍
