Lovely food if a little rice heavy. Lovely staff too. Lacking a bit of atmosphere but this was very early evening and quiet. Quality meat dishes and would recommend anyone to try it

Absolutely amazing! We ate here on Friday 1st November had a mixed sizzler starter, lamb karahi, Chapli kebab with naan and rice. It was all amazing perfectly cooked and served with a nice fresh salad. The food was all cooked to perfection with fresh herbs and spices. The complimentary tea after was a really nice addition and despite being resistant to try it I would definitely have it again as it really rounded the meal off! Service from the two chaps working that evening was impeccable, they were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Overall it was a fabulous experience and a real gem in rotherham...will definitely return here !

Tasty, interesting food cooked to a high standard. Generous portions - we had two starters and two mains but could easily have managed with just one. The aubergine starter was top class and the lamb karahi main excellent. Very friendly service as well.

Great food, everything we had was delicious. Good size portions, well presented. Helpful friendly service. We ate too much but enjoyed every mouthful.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Fantastic tasty food and friendly, attentive service. The portions are generous (we took a big container of rice home) and it’s such good value. We had sharing platters for 9 people between 8 of us which came to £17.50 per person- including a starter and soft drink. Please visit and leave a generous tip.

Greated with warm smile and welcome. We were given complimentary Hummus and Nan dishes to share. Very tasty food. Plenty to eat. I recommend the Kahari half kilo lamb. Very reasonable priced bill for nine if us 👍

Lovely food prepared and cooked with love and care. Staff know the menu well and will give advice on portion sizes and spice levels. Really enjoyable experience. I really recommend this place.

Amazing food. We are vegetarian. Most of the dishes contain meat but the starters are vegetarian and delicious and big. Great service as well.

Just returned from a lovely evening at My Watan. Friendly helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us - a big party of 20+. The food was amazing freshly prepared and plenty of it. The aubergine dish was something else and the rice fluffy and perfectly cooked. I will be back with family and friends. Thank you

This was my first visit to this restaurant and my first time trying Afghanistan food. The food was excellent and the friendly service was faultless. The restaurant is decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. I cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommended. Kevin

We have been for the first time today and it definitely won’t be the last. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. Portion sizes are on the generous size and the complimentary green tea very welcome.

Absolutely stunning meal! Went for a family dinner, me, husband and two tweens. The food was delicious, great quality and fantastic value - clearly lovingly made. Have never had Afgani food but I definitely will again! Wonderful evening for all, thank you!!!!
