In my opinion, one of the best Chinese takeaways around.

Great take out Decent portions and you get free prawn cracker and free spring rolls depending on how much you spend. Very rarely get your order wrong. Not had a bad meal from there.

Food was ok...but cash only is poor and the only reason for that in 2024, is to avoid VAT and TAX!

Amazing place and food, meats justify and cooked perfectly, just one thing, the sauces were so intense and to much that you couldn't taste anything in

Really good food on a consistent basis. My daughter and grandchildren come across and are take away addicts and very picky. They love coming over and we all enjoy the food, the quality, quantity and the excellent price. Keep up the good work 😃 Love it

Avoid at all costs! Had this yesterday and at the time thought the food was bland anyway, however since then it’s clear that my partner has food poisoning after eating their chicken. Will never be ordering again.

New Diamond Have Been Here For A Very Long Time With That Being Said I've Always Had A Good Experience Here ... The Food Is Always Good And It Can Have Really Busy Periods... It Is A Really Underrated Chippi To Be Honest .. Sits Right On The Main Road And Parking Is Quite Easy To Be Honest .. There's Usually Space At The Front .. The Staff Are Always Happy To See You And They Have Some Excellent Chinese Dishes .. I Find The Prices Are A Bit Expensive But Im More Than Convinced This Is Due To The Cost Of Ingredients.. If Ingredients Prices Go Up So Do The Prices But Equally The Food Is Worth The Money As Ive Always Found New Diamond To Have A Very Unique Way Of Doing Things .

Visited friends last night. I was treated to Ginger, Chicken and Spring Onions with boiled rice and Prawn Crackers. Delivered well within 30 minutes of ordering. New Diamond is excellent.

Not been in a while, so wife stopped in yday. £4.50 for salt and pepper chips... no salt, minimal onions, sloppy chips and not even half a pepper. I've had water with more spice. Won't ever go again.

First time from ordering from here an I will never order again. First I had I big black hair in my food,the food looked like it had been warmed up,it was so hard an dry even my dog didn’t eat it. No stars for here the food was shocking

A bit of a struggle with communication through the perspex sheeting. Chips were amazing...... fish not so much! It was tasteless and rubbery. Ended up in the dog.... she enjoyed it!

What has happened with this place just got a takeaway obviously expecting it to be tasty but so disappointing. Salt and pepper ribs, where was the salt and pepper 🥺flavourless. The rest of the food was just as disappointing. Although I have to say the chicken and sweetcorn soup was okay but it just wet down hill after as it was lacking flavour. I ate because I was hungry but not as much as I would have liked 😒😔

Chicken curry. Gone downhill on tonight's meal.. Curry was slightly peppery but no real flavour. Rubbery chicken tasted like it was from a bag of frozen chicken pieces.
