New Dragon House in Fife

The New Dragon has improved loads since the new owner took over. She's extremely friendly and the food has very generous portion sizes. One meal can easily feed two people, and the price is very reasonable. Definitely one of my favourite takeaways in Glenrothes.

Disappointed ordered chicken curry , fried Rice .. it was Turkey 🫣 not chicken , Boss said it tastes like chicken 🤔 🤣Really , offered me other Meal No thanks ..

I've been using yourself for years and always enjoyed but the last two orders have been horrible chicken is not very nice at all very hard also especially tonight it was delivered two hours after ordering which was a disgrace my daughters were hungry but didn't enjoy it either. What a waste of 37 pounds won't be back now.

The front of house, has had a great makeover. Looks braw. Just had an amazing, Large spring roll x2. Chicken Curry and Fried rice, also very tasty. You won't regret ordering from here.

Great Takeaway meals. Plenty of chicken in the Chicken fried rice,also good size chicken breast in the curry . Easy ordered and quick delivery. A must go to for people to try .

OMG what can I say about the food this place has to be the best Chinese place for a takeaway the chicken sweetcorn soup is packed with big pieces of chicken, the lemon chicken is absolutely delicious and the dishes are always packed, I will keep going back to this place 😁😋

Ordered on Fife eats. Order marked as “completed” over half an hour before it actually arrived. Luke warm curry. Cold rice and warm can of coke. Took over an hour for delivery. Food average. Won’t order again.

A similar place couldn't exist in my country. A dirty garage, greasy and tasteless food. The only positive side is the kind lady.

It is a new place to discover when l come across this place and this is a new ownership since last month when l had been told about it. The food was excellent especially the salt&chilli chicken, definitely will come back next time.

Great food and place looks class after refurbishment. Highly recommend.

got all of the food below (plus ribs) for 35 quid. [2 portions of chips, kids meal, 6 bbq ribs, lemon chicken, boiled rice, chilli honey crispy chicken, crab meat and sweetcorn soup, 2 bags of prawn crackers) Staff are so sweet, they are so kind. amazing staff, lovely food. i am autistic (and have ARFID) so finding foods i like is difficult, i have MULTIPLE things i can eat. Food is fantastic definitely recommend the box meals, so much food for your money. 100% recommend.

Food was cold and soggy and never got ma big bottle of juice with and driver was rude especially when I tried to talk to him to get ma bottle of juice and even phone up to get it they closed early they were meant to be shut at 22:30 they are a joke never going back here again

Ordered from the New Dragon House tonight after it changing hands and the food was amazing! Overall we found it to be less greasy and packed full of much more flavour. Everyone enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Lovely meals, will definitely recommend!

Used to quite like this place, but now they basically force you to sign up if you want to order anything online - yeah, no thanks. Time to start looking for another chinese, methinks.

Nice food, friendly staff and parking for an artic across the road.

No ordered food from here in a very long time but wasnt dissapointed 2nite ,service luvly & food really nice & hot ,delivery driver very friendly found our house no bother at all as new housing scheme🙂

Gave this place a try a few months back and got to say it's my new go to place every meal me and my family has had has been 10/10 great food great prices and always been quick when order a delivery.

Used to be our goto place for Chinese. Had a bad experience wee while back so we left them for a while. Decided to give them a second chance and wished I never bothered. Took 1.5 hours to arrive. Salt n chilli chips were soggy and very poor in quality and taste. Special foo Yong only had ham and chicken in it. Free spring rolls went in the bin. Soggy and had been lying for a while. We won't be back. Don't know what's happened here because it used to delivery awesome food at one time.

Generally a good place to go grab Chinese. My order is usually the salt and chilli box. Can on occasions be poor, not sure if the chef is different or it's one of those can't be bothered days.

Ordered a special fried rice but received special chow mein but tasted very good and honey chilli ribs were fab

My favourite place for a Chinese carryout, food never had a bad experience always great food and staff very helpfull

Absolutely the worst Chinese meal we have ever had, 5 meals and everything was only worth the bin, will never be back

used the Dragon House for a very long time but tonight ordered a chicken fried rice and a special fried rice, stodgy rice with clumps of white rice, it looks like it was partly fried and pre packed then microwaved, no prawns and very little sauce and tiny pieces of chicken, Very DISAPOINTED and will certainly not be using this Chinese takeaway again

Been using new dragon house for a longtime so never thought anything about lastnights order. How wrong I was! We always get the chicken in bbq sauce with bean sprouts. So I couldn't find online so went in person. Eventually got our order to get home and find no rice ( but was charged ). Also where before you got a chicken breast now it's some tiny slices of chicken and a watery sauce. Won't be ordering again

Wife had the sweet and sour Cantonese style was nice my Chow Mein watery and dissapointing

Ordered takeaway for 17.00 hrs arrived at 18.30hrs and they wanted to charge me delivery. The delivery guy told me that the online system never had worked. First & last time we use this takeaway.

It was a suggestion that I try this takeaway, since my usual one went downhill, and my favourite one doesn’t deliver. They do amazing beef curry. King prawn curry is nice also Chips are good. Delivery is pretty quick. Also, they tend to give free spring rolls, and orders over £10 get prawn crackers. Would definitely recommend.

Always had a delicious meal, staff nice too.. My fav take away :)

Ordered our meal chicken chow mein worst ever no mushrooms hunt for the chicken paid for a tub of noodles. Also ordered chicken mushroom and fried rice dry as a bone one mushroom sliced in four 3 pieces chicken. Again paid for a tub of fried rice. Have used this chinese before but if thats what their serving at those prices never again.

A bizzare looking chinese, but the food is amazing.

Delivery quoted as 50 minutes - finally arrived after 1hour 40 minutes and was lukewarm at best. Refund requested and was delivered to my door the same day with an apology.

Got a delivery from here and the food was awful couldn’t even eat it my partner tried it and he couldn’t eat it either will not be back here food went straight in the bin

i used to get food every saturday night as weekend treat but its no near as good as it used to be rice hard not cooked right chicken sometimes tough or pink the service is fast but it was cold lately when it was coming dont use it now.

I had a really nice chicken curry but my daughter had the special udon meal and she said it was horrible, saying the chicken was horrendous and wasn't sure what part of the chicken it was even from and didn't want to even hazard a guess. The noodles were tasteless. Banana fritters were pure black in the middle and she felt ill after it . So... not recommended. Also person on the phone was quite abrupt with her whilst placing order, when she enquired about what ingredients were in the special udon meal

Very very fast delivery........ Food piping hot ......... And order correct....... 10/10 NDH OH, The Duck curry is sooooo de'lish

This is always the Chinese I order from. Quick service and is always piping hot when it comes. Delivery driver also comes with a smile. Highly recommend!

to get the food you ordered correct, with the NDH its very very difficult, Asked for a chicken curry with chips, got a sweet & sour chicken Yuck!! and its not the 1st time this has happened.

Used to really love the new dragon house as I always had sweet and sour Hong Kong style, it was my all time favourite but recently I've ordered it a few times and the sauce has been thick and lacking of as much taste. Still a good Chinese delivery with plenty of variety! (I'm just picky and stick to my sweet and sour chicken)

Had a take away from here on Saturday night, it was brilliant, fast delivery and food was perfect. Will be ordering from here again soon! :-)

DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE!!!!! order placed and arrived after 1 hour!! Order was wrong, contacted the new dragon house and asked for a new order to be sent out. owners refused to do this. Asked me to wait another 30 min for the side order to be sent out. This would have ment that the rest of the meal would be cold when the side arrived. So I asked for a full refund and for the new dragon house to collect the food. I received abusive language down the phone and told DO NOT COME BACK. I did receive my money back but the service is terrible and I do not recommend this Chinese to anyone. Plenty of better ones around.

It's a take away and they do delivery , my daughter order regularly from here and her meal it tailored to her dietary requirements.
