New World Carlton Colville Lowestoft in Waveney

Use this chinese alot and had nice food but tonight the food was disgusting. Bland and the beef was like rubber if in fact it was even beef. It went straight in bin. I will not use this chinese again as it was that bad.

We phoned our order in. This place came recommended. Having lived here three years and have tried most Chinese takeaway 'so this is by far the best. Almost on our doorstep. Seriously did not know it was here. We had hot and sour soup. Lovely and tasty. With a bit of a kick. Crispy shredded beef. A prawn curry and a special fried rice. The prawns in the curry. Plentiful. The sauce it's self delicious. My partner really enjoyed his beef dish. The rice was equally as good. The place has a 5 star hygiene rating. Spotlessly clean. Very nice polite friendly staff. So glad it was recommended. Very nice meal.

It's very popular at weekends so hit n miss ordering by phone & delivery can be over an hour wait. We ended up driving there its sometimes quicker. Food always very good.

Ordered on sunday night somthing different normal have indian but was delivered as expected driver friendly as for young girl on phone food good will use again

We have been using New World for many years and have always found the food to be excellent. It is always delicious and we would not go anywhere else. Saturday evenings can be very busy so always best to phone your order through first to avoid a potentially long wait.

Excellent Chinese takeaway the food is always well cooked & hot we usually telephone our order & collect it. If you telephone your order for a delivery it can take quite a while at busy times.

Disgraceful service, re heated chips, wrong dishes delivered, only less main meal , call to check order only to be shouted at down the phone. Won’t be ordering again here and neither will my parents who’s anniversary it is or my sister, husband and her 3 children! 😡

I've been here quite a few times... I like the meal from The New World Chinese Take Away... I recommend the chicken chop suey, rice and chips.

The food is disgusting, your taking your life in your own hands eating here, I checked food hygiene rating and it got 1..... Eat here and you risk getting sick....or worse

Heard good things so decided to give it a try. My dish contained very large pieces of almost raw onion which was unpalatable and the sauce was thin, flavourless and contained very little chicken. Would rather drive a few more miles into Beccles and get something really good than go here again.

First time we have used this takeaway and it definitely won’t be the last! Good service from girl taking the orders and only a short while to wait for our order to be cooked. Not the cheapest Chinese we’ve had, but you get what you pay for, and we were certainly very happy. The food was so very tasty and well cooked, and still piping hot after a 5 minute drive home. The girl on the end of the phone was very rude towards me and got our order wrong. And not even an apology.

We have been visiting this Chinese takeaway (also delivers) for years. I was recently diagnosed as having coeliac disease and have to eat gluten free. The staff here are extremely clued up about what is possible for me to eat and what is not - ie no curries as they contain MSG - but are able to tell me if the dishes I want are available - gluten free.

Had a takeaway for 8 people last night . The food was really good , everyone commented on how nice it was , really good portions , so tasty , couldnt fault. We will always order from there in future .

We only ever use new world they are vey good food is delivered quickly and always hot. The food is very nice good flavours and friendly delivery drivers .

We have been using new world for years now and felt that other people should now what a great Chinese takeaway it is. We use them at least twice a week and have always found the meals to be hot, fresh and very tasty. Over the last 10 years we have had both takeaway and delivery. The staff and drivers are always very friendly and helpful they always go out of there way to serve you a great expierence. The food is always cooked fresh and when busy, you may have to wait but it's worth the wait. They cook Chinese, Cantonese, and English food. They supply a tv to watch while you are waiting and a few papers and magazines to read. I personally put this site on for them as people need to know how good there service is and how great the quality is too.

I felt it was about time that New World recieved TripAdvisor ratings, we have used them for at least ten years and have never ever had a bad meal from them, The staff are always friendly and helpful and will help with any issues or allergy advice you need. The drivers are mostly friendly and the food arrives hot and in decent plastic and aluminium containers. They always acknowledge me when I visit or have delivery. The food is always served hot,fresh and tasty, occassionalily you might have to wait when busy but that's a small price to pay. We always sing there praises and I feel that more people need to know the quality of food we recieve, A great big thankyou Glenn & John
