Called in on the chance of getting a proper hearty dinner after reading the reviews. Was greeted with staff who had zero personality and looked more like they wanted to fight you than serve you any food. Only wish the sandwich had as much food on it as the apron did on the person serving us had on. Price did not reflect the standard of sandwich served, a meal deal from across the road would be more substantial and better value. Disappointed.

Well impressed, travelled quite a way to give it a go as was a bit fed up of the mundane so so so ones near me. Proper cakes like you remember saying eat me eat me and tasty, where I am from they call it LUSH meaning lucious, not measly multi purchase in a box cakes,these are made with love and flavour,people next table had been several times for breakfast they love it and wont go anywhere else, It is the sort of place where you don't want to miss out and try everything Will go again the sooner the better, great friendly staff and spotless,best coffee for miles.

Little cafe, squeezed in between other shops. Doesn't shout about its wares, lets the eating speak for itself. Once you've tried it and paid you wil know this place needs better recognition

Great friendly service and amazing homemade pies and wonderful cakes , 5* all the way . Great place to stop of whilst on a walk around the hills of Whitworth , not to far from down reservoir . It’s also close to the quarry for 4x4 driving and enduro racing championships . Highly recommend this place

Visited with my wife on a Sunday evening to celebrate her birthday and found it wasn't as described on the website and certainly not what we expected. It was more like a nightclub. We had to shout to be heard because the expletive ridden rap music was so loud and a small party of 6 guests were treating the place like it was karoke night. Staff were however, very apologetic and explained they were catering specifically for the other 6 guests because "they wanted loud music". Other people who arrived didn't stay either, walking in and then straight back out. The Food we had was delicious though but we had originally planned on staying much longer and we left to go elsewhere.

14 Manchester RoadI love Christmas dinner. The trimmings and the memories of growing up with the tradition. I have had a few Christmas dinners in the area and this was the best. They use real turkey, not the processed slices but the real bird. Moist with all the trimmings. The trifle and the mince pie with cream also went down very well. So sorry they do not serve it all year or as a special some times. .Price was great .

414 Holcombe RoadThere is a lovely community feel to this place . Always a warm welcome … friendly staff , tasty food and dog friendly. Today we had flat breads - one chicken , one fish - both were really good . We also had the salt and pepper fries which were very good . If I could fault anything I’d say the coffee could be better . I ordered a flat white but it tasted more like a weak latte . Still love the place though !

Helmshore RoadGorgeous little find for a Saturday brunch - delicious, well priced food and drink with outstanding service. Can’t wait to pay another visit!
