No 10 Ale House in Blackpool

Anoche comimos en el No 10 , comemos de vez en cuando pero normalmente nos llevan, la comida siempre está caliente y muy sabrosa. El descuento actual a mitad de semana es excelente. No es un ambiente relajante, ya que es un pequeño micro pub, así que si usted está detrás de un lugar para sentarse y relajarse mientras tiene una comida encantadora aquí probablemente no es el lugar para usted, sin embargo, la comida es tremenda y si te gusta un pub concurrido local donde siempre hay alguien que conoces, entonces esto es para ti.

Servicio absolutamente asqueroso. Pedido comida para 6 personas a las 7 : 55 pm. Una hora más tarde, no había llegado comida para que una anciana sin absolutamente ningún frente de servicio domiciliario le dijera ‘le dijeron que era una espera de 45 minutos’. Una hora después, salieron dos platos, uno de los cuales era un orden completamente equivocado seguido por el resto de la comida menos dos lados otro 30 minutos después. El plato principal equivocado fue cambiado casi inmediatamente. El personal evitó por completo la mesa durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí. Le preguntamos al personal dónde estaba el resto de nuestra comida para que nos dijeran que irían y comprobar con nadie que volviera para informarnos. El personal continuó evitando la mesa y colocó uno de los dos platos que faltaban al final de la mesa evitando la conversación o justificación de por qué la comida había salido tan escalonada. Nunca recibimos uno de los lados principales. Fuimos a pagar y cuestionamos parte del servicio y pedimos que los platos que faltaban fueran sacados de la factura para que el ‘gerente’ y ‘su madre’ hablaran con ellos como la suciedad en la parte inferior de su zapato. Comprendemos totalmente que se cometen errores, pero NO hay absolutamente ninguna necesidad de grosería y que se hable de ello. El gerente permitió a la anciana (presumiblemente esta mujer era su madre) discutir y estar en desacuerdo con nosotros. Queríamos que el resto de nuestra comida fuera en caja que incluía un tazón entero de patatas fritas. Se bromeó, simplemente llevaremos el tazón de papas fritas con nosotros para que el gerente nos diga que ‘llamaría a la policía’. El gerente continuó discutiendo con varios miembros de nuestro partido. La comida, aunque salió en todo momento diferente era encantadora y no había ningún fallo con el sabor o la presentación de las comidas, sin embargo, el servicio, la actitud y la forma en que nos hablaron como clientes era terrible. Lo peor de todo fue que fue evitado por el personal durante todo el transcurso de nuestra estancia, ya que sabían que habían metido la pata, si acababan de conversar con nosotros sobre los tiempos de espera, errores y platos faltantes, habríamos sido más comprensivos. Alimentos - 10 / 10 Servicio - 0 / 10

Frente de la casa de servicio al cliente pobre. Personal del bar grosero y discutidor. Debido a que preguntamos dónde estaba nuestra comida después de 45 minutos, el personal evitó nuestra mesa a pesar de un entrante equivocado, faltaban lados, 30 minutos entre las porciones de una fiesta comiendo en diferentes momentos. . . no hay explicación de por qué el servicio deficiente hasta que se desafió al final de la comida. . los empleados de la familia continuaron siendo agresivos. . muy decepcionados como la comida muy buena. . . no primero reseñar sobre el personal grosero pero claramente no poner el servicio al cliente en primer lugar. . más interesados en asegurarse de que se entregaron comidas para llevar. . . si el personal corto debería haber honrado a las personas que habían reservado sentarse primero. . . nunca más, obviamente no se molestó por repetir la costumbre local

Personal extremadamente grosero, muy mal servicio. Lo que debería haber sido una gran noche en familia para tomar unas copas y una comida se estropeó por la actitud del personal. Los pedidos de comidas se tomaron con un tiempo de espera aconsejado que no era donde el tiempo real tomó para preparar y entregar la comida. Cuando se entregó la comida había artículos incorrectos y los extras llegaron después de que la comida principal había terminado. En el lado positivo la comida cuando llegó era buena. Lo evitaría si quieres una comida decente en un entorno agradable.

This 1 star review was based on the service and behaviour of the Restaurant Manager (long platted pony tail and bad teeth.) only. The waitress was polite and well mannered. The food was good. There were two reasons why she took umbrage. 1. She clearly didn’t know the law regarding allowing 16/17 year olds to have a drink with a meal and whilst accompanied by adults. 2. Also we questioned the vaping laws as she was allowing people to vape in the restaurant and in close proximity to where we were eating. We thought nothing of it and ate our food and drank our drinks. We enjoyed the meal and had a good time, so we are not sure where the next part came from. The meal was paid for and the manager then started to clear the table including drinks which were not finished. When I asked for the drinks to be put back on the table, she refused and said, you have been nothing but rude since we arrived. We had only spoke to her about vaping and the rules on 17 year olds being allowed a drink with their meal and at no time was anyone rude.! I went to the bar to discuss/complain about the drinks being taken and she said she was going to call the owner, which was welcomed. The restaurant manager had two fairly large guys come and basically threaten us to leave ‘or else’ type scenario. I think they were shocked that we were not intimidated by either of them and frankly they looked foolish, especially when we explained why they had been accosted as the heavy mob. But to be threatened by two heavies and have your drinks taken and be accused of being rude left a sour taste after what was otherwise a nice meal. We were clearly not going to get an apology, based on the fact she was the senior member of staff and it was her that behaved badly. My Son actunally pointed this out saying let’s go, as you can’t reason with this type of person. The manager wouldn’t get a star at all based on her behaviour.

This place started off as a real ale bar. Since its revamp, it is nothing of sort. Half the bar is now general lagers and a cocktail unit. It has lost its Blackpool identity and looks like any other town bar in Blsckpool. It's now become a place where you start your night off before going into town. It's a shame because it was a great place for locals and visitors to enjoy a decent locally run bar that served decent liquor.

Fantastic Venue for social drinks and food or private function. Recently refurbished. Great Thai Food dishes and great drinks

Worst place… I love a micro pub… but this place not the best. Had a complaint about the food. Nobody cared. Had a complaint about grumpy staff nobody care xxx shame I’m round the corner

Came to the no.10 last night and the service from Aimee was absolutely exceptional. She was fast and efficient at serving me and my friend. Super friendly and full of smiles. We ordered food and drinks, the food was amazing and tasted great. We have been before and the service then was also exceptional. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Aimee for making our experience so enjoyable! We will definitely be back again very soon.

This was our second visit for a lovely Thai meal and real ale drinks at The No 10. Once again the 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks. The service was excellent and friendly. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

We'd been here with family last month, and were so impressed, we went again with friends last night. It's a bar with a good selection of ales and spirits, and it sells Thai food. The food is excellent. As good, if not better than anything we have eaten in Thailand, where we have been many times. Two of us had the chicken satay, plump white pieces of chicken wrapped in a light savoury batter served with peanut dip. My husband had the spring rolls with sweet chilli dip and our friends chose a mixture of starters to share. All pronounced excellent. We ordered three massaman curries, one red curry and my husband had his favourite hot jungle curry with prawns. All came with fragrant Jasmine rice and we ordered an extra portion of salt and pepper chips. It was all delicious. Aimee took our food order and gave good advice on the choice of menu. She even brought another round of drinks to our table when she could see they were needed. She was marvellous, very friendly and super efficient. Thanks, Aimee. There are tables and chairs upstairs but we sat on high stools at long tables in the downstairs bar. I don't know how much the drinks were, as they were paid for with each round. We hadn't realized the half price food special offer was still on, which was an added bonus. The cost of the food without drinks....Five starters and five mains plus an extra bowl of chips was just under £44. The excellence of the food, and quality of the ales, at that price, who can afford to miss this?

Incredible with even better prices. All through December 2022 and January 2023 they were doing 50% off all food well with January not being a great month it was nice to go out and eat decent food for a bargain. I'd definitely be coming back here. Very tasty Thai food 😋

My chicken massaman curry had a hair in it yuk the taste was really horrible the potatoes were pre cooked and just added to the pre cooked chicken pieces the sauce tasted from a jar my pork toast had no depth of flavour what a mess first and last time I will order from them.

Out with friends for food and a few drinks...well more than a few!!!😁 You are spoilt for choice from the food menu and a great selection of drinks to suit all. The food was amazing and extremely tasty . Nice atmosphere and plenty of people enjoying there visit to 10s. Would highly recommend this place if you are wanting decent food & drink with great service.

Sunday dinner was fab with big portions and freshly made food. Excellent value as well. Service was excellent as well. The Thai food is also the best in Blackpool as well

My and my boyfriend walked in to No 10 Ale house and Thai, the set up was lovely. Bit of confusion on my part (at first) as I wasn’t sure if we were in the right place but when I spoke to the lovely bar man, he told us we were in the right place! Once seated in a separate part of the bar, we ordered and received amazing and delicious Thai food! It was light, fragrant and super authentic! We strongly recommend to anyone visiting or anyone local that hasn’t tried it yet.
