The food was tasty and the place was quirky with plenty of potential. Loved the eclectic feel of the place. However the floors were dirty, there were two used spoons under our table, the teapot and milk jug were absolutely filthy and visibly dirty and the toilet needed a good clean. The hand towel was disgusting, smelly and stained. We were the sole customers in there. Such a shame as this place could be really great. There was also personal post left by the table we sat at detailing a person's name, address and car insurance crime.

Quirky cafe with mismatched furniture, bright colours and unusual artwork.Unhurried and relaxed atmosphere.Ordered the cauliflower and broccoli soup which took a while to arrive and needed a lot of seasoning to get a decent taste.Very quiet with only 2 people inside.Gave it a go but not sure I'll be going back.

.Came upon this by chance. If you like corporate, avoid. Very quiet, no canned music or mobile phones, though Nori did invite one diner to try the piano, which he played rather well. Only had an omelette with salad, but very good. Not sure how they would cope with a rush, but post lunch on a Saturday it was fine.

Are you adventurous, daring, fearless? Then, why not come and visit Nori's café, on the side street of the Broad street where many of the antique shops are? I am not sure how much to share of my experience at Nori's cafe, as l like the spirit of what this person is trying to achieve, a mad, uncconventional, 'all about Nori' cafe where you can have something to eat or drink and nobody will try to chase you out to get another customer in. Definitely the place to relax at. We both enjoyed the quirk displayed all over the room, the 'naive' artwork, which is very extensive, varied and light hearted, mostly centered around Herefordshire scenes, including a drawing of the group of WI ladies from a few years ago. The decoration is very amusing and again, unconventional. There are many things you wonder, in this day and age, how she dares letting it look like this, but it is part of the charm and experience, as most places nowadays are stripped from character thanks to the unimaginative, scared-to-show-personality owners and councils sometimes paranoid rules about everything you are not allowed to do, in your own restaurant. I do not know what else to say, should l comment about the quality of the food ? or should l just say this is a gem of unusuality, if you are a traditional eater you may enjoy the choices, even if the microwave is (overly) used, the dishes l would not bother with again; my late coming soup was just not very palatable and my friend waited 20 minutes for his dish ordered at the same time, which did not come, and when we took the courage to kindly ask where the dish was, to which she replied 'which dish did you order?' , the way-too-busy Nori profusely apologised and we heard her put it in the microwave to warm up. It arrived, a lot less than the description, and again, not extremely palatable. It is possible to make tasty food with the cheapest ingredients, which are obviously used in this restaurant, it all depends on the skills and imagination of the person. A pinch of chopped coriander will improve a mediocre tasting soup and improve its appearance, the same with a lemon slice sitting on the edge of the dish, something to add a bit of life, or a sprinkle of crushed, toasted nuts or seeds on top. It does not take much to make food better, and such additions are very cheap and can be conveniently chopped in advance and kept in freezers or fridges. Cheap food made with the least efforts can often be disappointing and you can't quite put your finger on the 'why' of it. Shame about the food, the setting is very quirky. In an ideal world she would be able to afford employing someone who can cook, and, instead of rushing about herself, she could just sit down at a table with one of her hand-decorated lamps, doing what she does best, her creative drawings and her other crafts, becoming the attraction herself, giving her visitors an insight into her world. It would be a great place to come to then, on all levels. It was very amusing to see, during the time we were there, two quiet couples coming in, one came right in to the bar, looked at the menu, waited a minute or two for her attention and as she was busy doing something in the kitchen (not sure what as we had been alone in the room for a while and we had been served) they walked out again. The other couple came in a while later, stood at the bar again, only a few yards from where she was (the door is kept open into the kitchen so both can see each other), after making their choice noticibly loudly to each other, they stood there for a good 3/5 minutes. Again, no sign of kitchen-faffing Nori, so they also walked out! If you are ignored, it is best, like we did for our missing main course, to 'shout' for attention. If you want to spend an amusing, weird afternoon, this is the place to be. You never know, it could well be avant-garde. A place and character without which Leominster would not be the same!

We liked the menu which is why we walked in. It's querky. The rug on the floor could have done with a sweep. The food was good but you could hear the ping of the microwave from warming up the food. We heard her call out and realised we had to collect our food from the counter which was not explained when we arrived.

Discovered this little gem by accident. We haven’t laughed so much in awhile. Fantastic unusual decor with many original dusty features including Nori’s art work adorning the walls. After awhile we realised you needed to go to counter to order food as it is only Nori who works there. A Wonder Woman - she was cooking, taking orders and clearing tables. Recommend the homemade soups and a descent pot of tea in wonderful mismatched china. Omelet came with salad. All food reasonably priced.

This looked like a quirky appealing café from the outside but was very disappointing and overpriced. The curry and macaroni cheese were clearly reheated and the ploughman's lunch consisted of a single slice of brown bread (the ready sliced supermarket kind), some bland cheese and some limp lettuce, cucumber and tomato. The table was tiny and generally it was not a pleasant experience.

Tucked away down a side street but had a good cuppa here and could take the dog inside too, which was a treat. Good service in a quirky cafe.

Stopped off for a cup of tea and a scone here whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. Has a very antique vibe, very original and charming. My tea was served in a china cup and saucer with a hand painted tea pot to match. Ideal for someone looking for an independently owned coffee shop or a quiet lunch.

This place is run by Nori who is also an artist and whose pictures of Leominster's shop fronts adorn the walls. We had a generous pot of tea between us and my lemon cake was warm and moist. My partner's chocolate cake was a little dry but well flavoured. Lovely old beams make this a quirky delight but Costa it isn't!

Nori's cafe offers theme nights where local musicians, artists and other folk perform whilst you eat a home cooked style meal. There are too few places with this charm in the UK. It's very friendly and very local, well worth a visit.

The cappuccino coffee was barely warm and no froth at all. Certainly slap happy service. It looks like it had been a busy service but there wasn’t anyone waiting after us so can’t see why it was such a rush to slap it out.

Don't know when my lunch had been cooked but it was just about warm except for the egg which was freshly fried. Baked beans had a skin on top, bacon was dry and inedible, sausages were such poor quality and are mainly mechanically recovered meat and rusk. Won't bother again as there are plenty of cafes in the area which show more respect to the food and the customers.
