We love this little independent patisserie, it's tucked away down The Colonnade (opposite the theatre) and has the most scrumptious sausage rolls and fresh cakes- new selection every day. We brought mum today and indulged in Asparagus & Cheese Quiche, Apple & Sage sausage rolls and a gorgeous Raspberry Cheesecake. All with coffees. There's a room with tables/chairs, purchasable artwork and paperback novels - book swap or donations. Love it ❤️ (Worth checking the Facebook page posts for opening hours which can vary) Also an excellent Comic Shop opposire

Went out for a family birthday meal, and had a great time. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and the food was really tasty. It's been a while since we've been here, but we'll be back again soon. The 15% off was a big bonus too!

On Saturday the 18 jan my wife and myself tried LA CASA Italian restaurant for the 1st time after using the romantics AndSan Carlos for many years we had the lunch menu and was served brilliantly my a gentleman called a man the food served was excellent one of the best soup starters I’ve had hot from the first spoonful to the last and so very tasty the mains were the same and my wife commented how beautiful the fish was crispy round the edges with a soft interior the deserts were just the normal ice cream and tirasmussubut obviously they have brilliant chefs who. know the value of hot food and portion size being served all for just over£50 with a drink each absolute bargain for 3 courses from there lunch menu so nexst time you look at the menu in the window batter the door down to get in you won’t find a better 3 courses from there lunch menu for taste or money value in the town obviously they do the main menu on the table which is a bit more expensive but I think that’s for the evening the lunch menu has enough choices for you to enjoy a beautiful meal without. breaking the bank and then enjoy the main menu on an evening out with a loved one I might even take the wife lol highly recommended by myself as I try never to let you down with my reviews enjoy.
