Oddfellows Coffee in Northumberland

We called (with our dog) after a 12 mile walk. The coffee was just what was needed as was the offer of an extra shot! We chose two types of cake and shared - both were delicious. The place is clean and service was quick and efficient. We will return when next in the area

This is a potential goldmine in Haydon Bridge - but they need to up their game a little with their service to make sure people come back. We popped in for a quick lunch. The young lady serving took a minute to look up (there was only one other table in) and took our order. We ordered a salad and a toasted sandwich to share, with coffees and some iced water. Coffees came quickly enough, but no water. We waited quite a while for the food - which was lovely when it came. But while we waited, we saw another older couple come in and order. They waited even longer than us - and didn't get cutlery to eat salad and coleslaw! The original server was 'busy' folding napkins rather than clearing tables (quite a few with dirty dishes and needing wiped) These are such simple things to rectify - a bit of training required! Wonder how they would cope with a full cafe? Do hope they get this sorted...

Probably the best cafe in Hayden Bridge IMHO (TBF it is the only one I've been to but I love it - why go elsewhere?). Loose leaf tea (always a sign of quality) and great food. Service was super helpful.

I love coffee and cake. So I love Oddfellows. Clean, great coffee with as many as three shots! All sorts of delicious cake. Fast service, clean. What else could I want.

We saw this place advertised and as we were passing we thought we would give it a try, My wife order 2 coffees and 2 scones, there was one couple who had already ordered, the couple in front of us waited for ages as we did, they gave up, said they could wait no longer and walked out. The table we sat at was so sticky obviously had never been cleaned for ages, terrible, eventually the coffee arrived, it was just warm no more, when the scones arrive they were so hot you could not touch them, we attempted to cut them and they just fell apart, just out the micro or a very hot oven, but as a baker the mixture is obviously wrong. Folks you need to get this sorted, poor service, poor quality.

Fantastic on every level .. super cosy place to enjoy fabulous coffee and a delicious bite to eat. Rosie has tried to think of everything to make your visit spot on. There are phone chargers, a quiet space for those who welcome that .. and it’s dog friendly. 10/10 !

Great coffee and snacks, and most don't know how to make coffee hereabouts, so this place is very welcome.
