Nice Little Pub but I thought the meal was on the small side being served in what I would think was a bowl size for appetiser.

The Old Bull is a lovely pub but the food was not very good and it isn’t cheap. The spicy bean stew was reasonably tasty but had too much pork and few beans and no spice. The steak and ale pie was swamped with gravy which defeats the point of pastry. It didn’t taste of much. A real disappointment

There's always a warm welcome at the Old Bull, Inkberrow from mine hosts Joe and Michelle and their team, but last Sunday (20th October), it came with a German flavour as bratwurst, beer, wine and bonhomie flowed in abundance to celebrate Oktoberfest in true Germanic style. As the rain abated and the vintage car rally dispersed, the umpah band took us on a treat of fun, frolics and audience participation, all set against a back-drop of a traditional mediaeval German village scene. A packed house (and gazebos) had a great time with fun games, singing and dancing (not to mention eating and drinking) for all the family, both old and young and everywhere in between. Yet another great success in village entertainment from the Old Bull and mine hosts Joe and Michelle. A great way to enjoy a dank, dreary, wet weekend and to lift the spirits. Can't wait for the next one! Thanks Joe, Michelle and Team (not forgetting Billy!).

We visited here whilst staying in the area and booked in advance which is a good job we did as the pub is on the small side. The service was great and the menu though limited it is all very normal pub grub. The steak and ale pie was amazing very rich and the gravy that came with it was clearly made from the meat juices. It was served in a porcelain dish rather on a plate which we noticed the fish and chips were as well from another table which added a certain quirk to the meal, the chips were also tasty.

We had a couple of hours to kill in Inkberrow over lunchtime and having been through there previously and seen this pub, really wanted to give it a try. Beautiful, traditional country pub interior, one of the nicest pubs I’ve ever been in. Great beers behind the bar and very friendly and helpful owners, were very informative about the pubs history and chatted away wonderfully. Billy the Boxer dog is so friendly and was most receptive to a bit of fuss and patting ! Food was home cooked and delicious - the steak and ale pie is highly recommended ! Wonderful pub, well worth a visit, I’m very taken with the place and will definitely be back….soon I hope !

We visited the Old Bull Inn for lunch recently and were given a warm welcome. The team were very friendly. The menu is traditional pub grub. We had a steak Pue which was well filled and tasty but it had been microwaved so the pastry was soft and rubbery instead of crisp. The chips seemed homemade and again were tasty but cold. Prices are fair and this could have been a lovely meal had it been properly cooked. Such a shame.

Visited this pub a few years ago and enjoyed the experience. So decided to have a Wednesday lunch there today. This place is full of history with the grand fireplace lit the atmosphere was just how it may of been all those years ago. The menu is restricted to a couple of specials and the usual pub grub . I had the home made soup and a duck leg(locally shot) in red wine , both extremely tasty. The wife went for the steak and ale pie with those home made chips we all had as kids . Followed by apple pie and custard. It was refreshing to be served pub grub as it used to be at so many other pubs before the chains took over. Also very good value for money now that’s a bonus

Where do I start? Moved to Inkberrow with family in 2013 and believe it or not never went to two local Inkberrow pubs which is Bull's Head and this one. So we decided to go out first time ever in our local pub with our kids and our neighbours with theirs. We spent good amount of money on drinks there until certain point when owner(drunk by the way and being serving at the bar) went out very rude and grumpy and told our kids not to play next to white&red tape which was tightened from tree to a tree. When I asked why our children not allowed to play? He answered in very rude way that he doesn't have any more of that tape and don't want to be bothered doing it if kid's will accidentally rip it off. After that it was our last drink there and believe it or not nor me or my family will ever go there. This man need to sort his altitude towards customer's first and stop drinking while at work or it might make you a bit aggressive towards your clients!

A first visit does not inspire confidence. Cold, wet April day, and bloomin' cold upon entering, Fire hastily lit, but went out. 3rd attempt succeeded. Once circulation restored, ordered from bog standard menu - fish and chips, chicken pie, chicken korma. Pie had a content to pastry ratio of 1:10. came with lukewarm limp chips, could identify supermarket provenance for the korma, and recognise a complete lack of culinary imagination and ability in the kitchen. Workmen bustled past our table with lengths of timber, a few locals came in to watch TV, clutching their vapes, and although the bill for 4 came to £60, it cannot be said that this was a repeatable experience. A wee way down the road is a pub called The Flyford. Go there.

What a pleasure it was to be introduced to this unspoiled, proper little pub to which I know I'll return soon with my friends. The building itself has not been ruined like so many have. The local natives are friendly and the bar staff couldn't be nicer. Food is good and meets expectations of pub food. Archers fans will also love the connection with the pub (see other reviews for explanation). One other point - there is a frankly bizarre review headed "popped in for a tipple" about 3 weeks ago. I cannot work out (a) how this got past the editors and (b) whether or not it is a mick take. Sufffice to say readers should not be put off by this other review and no I did not see the cultrit at the bar!

I popped down to 'the archers pub' for a tipple and was delighted with the entire experience. The bar staff were a delight, almost like a cool fresh shower on hot summers day. Witty and polite, humorous and likable without any notion of unkind feelings at all. I have no friends. I visit pubs alone because of this and was still made to feel welcomed. Even after I apologised for peeing on floor I was still treated with the upmost respect Inspite of being in soiled trousers. As you can imagine I was immensely embarrassed by the whole saga but feel comfortable enough to return in the future. I'll bring my own mop next time and a spare pair of pants to prevent chaffing.

I went here with a party of friends for lunch on the way to a garden visit and we all had a great time. As there was quite a few of us we had booked first. The pub, the welcome and the food were excellent and everyone went away really happy, so much so we hope to return soon.

Popped in here for a drink with a group of about a dozen friends after a long walk. The barmaid seemed to be very put out that we had walked in to the pub at all and obviously didn't appreciate being interrupted from the conversation she was having with a customer/boyfriend? She also served short measures of beer with a head of froth about 6cm high. When asked to top it up I was given a filthy look. We will take our business elsewhere next time.

We stopped off at old bull to ask directions to a company and decided to stop for refreshments, the lady behind the bar so nice we asked about lunch, there was a specials board but she was happy to offer other snacks', toasted sandwich or Baggett, nice food and pleasant surrounding's.

The pub was very nice and friendly. Please update or remove the wall board on the Archers, as some of the characters have left, died, or just grown older! A bit lazy on this. However, it is obviously part of the Inkberrow community and has great ideas like a local Asparagus night at the height of the fabulous local produce.

This is an attractive, historic pub which is pretty much unspoilt and origional. There is pleasant atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant. The big problem was with the food which took almost an hour to be served, was very average quality and higher priced than most pubs locally would charge.

Came in for an after walk beer. Good choice of ales. Lots of history graced the walls which added to the atmosphere. I'd like to return another day to try their fayre.

Pershore Jazz Club recently ordered 100 meals from the Riverside Fish Bar for our Christmas jazz night. The food was delivered on time, and it was hot and delicious. We received favourable comments from numerous people. The reasonable priced package included salt, vinegar and sauces. The curry sauce was a popular choice. The team at the Riverside could not have been more helpful.

The historic aspect of this hotel is very special. It has charming areas of the lobby to sit and relax. We had some room issues and the maintenance staff was prompt and very accommodating. However, the service in the bar and restaurant for tea and dinner were disappointing and not at all what I expect from a 4star venue. The breakfast waitresses were very kind and did a good job, but the afternoon and evening team could use some training. All the employees wear their street clothes, so it is difficult to tell the difference between guests and staff. With all the awards Lygon Arms received, I was expecting so much more.

Another lovely lunch and service by very pleasant staff at the nightingale. Atmosphere very warm and cosy especially on a cold winters day
