Fue genial estar de regreso para una comida en el interior aquí, la primera desde marzo, justo antes del cierre de Covid. Escuché que este lugar ha estado haciendo un buen trabajo al mantener a los comensales locales alimentados en casa durante el cierre y espero que ahora estén en un buen lugar para dar la bienvenida a sus clientes habituales. El personal es muy agradable y amistoso y me sentí muy seguro con sus estrictos procedimientos seguros de Covid y el buen espaciado de las mesas interiores. Esta vez probé su desayuno grande que viene con tostadas y té incluido en el precio de alrededor de 7. 50. Una vez más, todo estaba caliente, de buena calidad y cocinado a la perfección. Consiste en salchicha, tocino, huevo frito, morcilla, frijoles, champiñones, tomates ciruela y hash brown. ¡Seguro que volveré pronto!

This was a revisit to this venue for the first time in around five years, but the first time under the current management renamed the Old Pin. Wow what a nice cafe - hidden away in the quaint Palace Mall. The place is simply styled but very welcoming and clean. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The cooked English breakfasts come in three sizes. I ordered medium at £5.50 but this is quite big. A proper mug of tea with its own mini-milk bottle is included - a nice touch. The food was piping hot and good quality and tasted great. It consists of bacon, sausage, fried egg, mushrooms, plum tomatoes, hash brown, beans and a round of toast. The cafe also does coffee and cakes and other hot options as well as breakfasts.

ordered 2 medium breakfasts and tea and coffee .Drinks came and finished before food.This arrived on cold plates so food was luke warm. The toast was made from the thinnest bread I have ever seen with an unappetising bright yellow spread . Staff professional but place lacked atmosphere. Wont be returning

Second visit for my wife and l, every bit as good as the first time. Spotlessly clean as always, really friendly service and delicious food, all home cooked and piping hot. Definitely worth the very short walk round the corner from the retail outlet. Very reasonably priced with daily specials, vegetarian and gluten free options. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, altogether a lovely place. We'll be back.

Poped in for something to eat and was amazed by what I saw. Friendly staff, Amazing value for food and spotless. Everything cooked from fresh. I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed what I had but the choice was limited .Coffee and cake was on offer but there was only 2 cakes to choose from as naughty and calorie laden as they were.

We decided after spotting this retail park on the way back from Manchester, to call in to have a look. Slightly peckish we called in the " Old Rolling Pin " we shared a chip butty and boy am I glad we did! The chips are epic, the service is faultless and I will definitely be calling there again, please go to this cafe and try the food, it's all freshly cooked and the cafe is spotless. It is a hidden gem. Thank you for the lovely food

I called into this restaurant with my friend for lunch,it is a lovely clean looking place with a no frills approach.The service is very good and done with a smile,a lady who was middle aged served us and she was so professional and did speak to us.The food tasted really nice,we had sandwiches which was served with salad.The toilets was again a credit to this place being clean tidy and smelled lovely.Upstairs is a nice area with childrens toys to keep them busy.The prices are really good and affordable.

Food was lovely. Waited so long That I could have gone home and cooked it quicker myself. Nice setting. Daily papers to read which was good

Decided to try the breakfast so we were there early on Saturday morning. Very clean and well set out with some very colourful art on the walls. I ordered the medium one and my (greedy) hubby went for the large one. We were able to change it slightly as hubby doesn't like hash browns! but they gave him extra bacon instead. When it came it was nice and hot and I was quire stuffed when I finished mine, hubby was full for most of the day and decided he'd go for the medium one next time! Friendly staff, delicious food (cakes looked delicious too but I didn't have room). Will definitely be back - this time for 2 medium ones!

Disappointing breakfast, waited half an hour for 2 medium breakfasts, when they arrived they were both on the cool side. I asked for beans rather than tomatoes but then found traces of tomatoes on my mushrooms. The cafe itself needs some love putting into it,...
