O'Neill's in Bromley

Worked at a nearby business for over 10 years and this is our place to go when it comes to celebrations and they are always the most helpful, kind staff and go above and beyond to serve us. The food is always delicious and presented beautifully. They always surprise me with how lovely the food tastes. I literally can't express my love for this place. It is beyond a pub chain! I recently visited O’Neill’s in Beckenham and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Rory and Rebecca. From start to finish, they both went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. Their friendly demeanors, attentiveness, and professionalism truly stood out. Rory impressed us with his fantastic recommendations and ability to manage a busy environment while still giving personalized service. Rebecca was equally amazing, bringing such a warm and welcoming energy that made us feel right at home. Together, they created a wonderful atmosphere that elevated our evening. O’Neill’s is lucky to have such outstanding staff—Rory and Rebecca are a credit to the team! I’ll definitely be coming back, thanks to their incredible service. Highly recommended!

Awful Xmas Dinner, no flavour, frozen potatoes and turkey so thin you could see through it... And the veg was just frozen peas

We went to O’Neills for our Christmas party. We were allocated an entire section to ourselves,,which was nice. Rory who was serving us went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. Five stars to him!

We had our works Xmas due here last night. The customer service was stellar from beginning to end. Linda was very accommodating as things changed with amount of people and food orders as we got closer to the date. When we arrived Rory was AMAZING :) He served us from beginning to end. I have never in my life had such attentive service in a pub. There were 12 of us. A lot of us forgot what we had ordered and Rory was patient and friendly. The table was beautifully set and all the food came out together and was correct. Rory took photos for us and even remembered and brought the correct drink to the individuals! He made our night brilliant. If you're reading this Rory thank you so much:)

Great little boozer. Nice atmosphere and friendly crowd of regulars. The bar staff are outstanding. Attentive, knowledgable,amiable and always willing to help. Special mentions for KK , Filthy B and Dom. Special praise for Buble lookalike Big Chas. Was brought back as an impact sub to assist when the pub lost a lot of experienced bar staff in a very short period. Was warmly welcomed back on his return by colleagues and regulars. THE DUDE IS AN ABSOLUTE SUPERSTAR. Alas he has been recalled by his pub so you only have until 1st November to grab a taste of the Buble in full flow. Get down there and raise a glass to the legend that is Big Chas

Amazing meal at O’Neils, then stayed for drinks and was such a lovely atmosphere! Then had a DJ and a dance floor after 8pm which made it very fun and an enjoyable evening! Will definitely go back again:)

I popped in for a quick drink and I have only ever been in a hand full of times but I’ve always been welcomed by the lovely staff. I was served by a guy called Rory and he was lovely and efficient and very quick. I’ve eaten in the past and I have no complaints about the food. Would definitely visit again.

Came in first time for some drinks, within two orders the lovely staff (Rory) had memorised our order. Good pub, nice vibes and good selection of drinks. Super close to the station- would come back and would recommend

Just happened to go in on Friday afternoon, where it seemed everyone was enjoying the sun. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, although it was busy the service was fast and efficient with my food not taking long to get to me which tasted great ! I want to say a special thank you to the staff Dominic and Charlie whom really put an effort in and checking back to make sure everything was okay. 10/10

Good pub next to beckenham station. Good selection of drinks and an outside area. Normally pretty packed on the weekends and they show the sport too.

Would love to give a shout out to Rebecca, Grace & Del. Had a meal and a few drinks and honestly couldn't have asked for more. Food was quick and delicious by del. The service from the bar staff was fantastic, both friendly and very accommodating.

Just popped into my local and the gladly made me a Hot Irish whiskey 🥃 to combat these cold nights and flu 🤧 thanks guys other bars in the area just don’t offer that service ☘️ ☘️

We didn't have a good experience there. Got there for dinner around 20h, 2+ hours before closing accordingly to Google maps. Checked the food menu and ordered some drinks first. When we got our drinks we tried to order food and we got informed the kitchen was closed. No warning or sign about kitchen closing early. OK misunderstanding happen but when we questioned why they didn't tell us before and why the food menu was on the table we were met with disdain from the staff.

I just moved to the area and found this nice pub. It seems like the town local pub that has sports on all television and serves a decent beer selection. There is ample outside seating area, which is great for the summer. The bathrooms have always been clean every time I visited. The staff are nice and the locals seem in good spirit. No complaints 👌🏾

Excellent service at O’Neill’s , Beckenham, last weekend. Josh was really helpful in guiding us through the menu with recommendations being professional, polite and chatty. Choices were spot on and a thumbs up to the kitchen also. We shall return !

Great place for drinks and pub food.

Came in for a late dinner with my son and daughter in law. She is 18 my son is 17. We ordered dinner at 6.45 only to be told becasue my Son was 17 he had to be out by 7pm, on a Tuesday evening with family. It was so embarrassing, I come in often when working in Beckenham, but I found this to really silly rule.

Had my sisters hen do here last night and honestly the best night was had. both brides to be went home after the best night can not thank the staff enough for the amazing service

Most of the staff here simply cannot pull a pint of Guinness properly and the taste is not great.

Cellar is looked after. Good selection of ales & lager. A good bunch of chatty staff who serve with a smile. Nice happy punters most of the time. I wish my "railway pub" had been as good as this before I retired.

I wanted a non alcoholic drink and Josh made me a wonderful Passion Fruit Mocktail. All shook up with ice and frozen raspberry and it was delicious

We had burgers and pints, best burger I've had in a long time (and I eat a lot) so juicy and the chips were perfect! Service could have been slightly quicker but they were really friendly and welcoming so still 5 stars.

The staff were extremely helpful and efficient the atmosphere was fantastic.

I would really like to praise the manager of the beckenham oneils his name is Charlie and I could not thank him enough for the effort he put in tonight to make sure I was safe there was some people in oneils that made the atmosphere uneasy I put my drink down and see a man pop up next to it so was to scared to drink my drink just in case it had been spiked I came to Charlie and told him my concerns he told me not to drink anymore just in case replaced my drink and had the bouncers keep and eye and he himself kept checking in there needs to be more Charlie’s in this world because if it wasn’t for him I would of gone home worried I had been spiked he made me feel at ease and would recommended Charlie to anyone thank you Charlie for making my night enjoyable again thank you from the bottom of my heart there needs to be more people like you that actually care

Great inexpensive food, tv's to watch sports on, comfy booths, good service.

This is a great venue to meet up with friends. The team are really cheerful and helpful always ready to accommodate parties and requests. The food they serve is excellent, good quality and always consistent. The events hosted there are welcoming and well organised with the guest being the centre of all they do, their recent St. Patrick’s day celebration is testament to that. I would highly recommended O’Neills Beckenham.

Awful staff. Full of bad attitude from when we arrived. A service to be expected from minimum wage millennials these days I suppose. However when I was refused a drink for being “too drunk” (after one bottle) and I asked to speak to the manager. I was confronted by an aggressive jumped up middle age woman with a 20 year old barman standing behind her, very intimidating! As a 40ish year old man, out with clients, funding an empty (pretty shabby bar) being refused drinks after being let in by great bouncers (20 mins previously) for being too drunk! Absolutely laughable, apparently this venue has a reputation for being like this, even a local cab driver confirmed it. Stay well clear if you are looking to have a couple of drinks and a nice evening, goodness forgive you if you want to enjoy yourself! How this branch of (usually a great chain) is still trading is well beyond me. My only guess is it is subsidised by the better pubs run by professional managers. Written ‘now’ 15/3/24 at 22.40 by an apparent man who’s drunk.

Cracking O’Neill’s this. Inviting atmosphere, well kept beer, quality food and cracking staff. Rachel made us feel particularly welcome and attended to our party with courtesy and smiles for our entire time there. Thanks for a great chain pub experience. A+

I went here for dinner after sight seeing in London I was staying near by and I have to say the service was second to none the staff was so friendly and they welcomed us like we were there every day the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and couldn’t do anymore for us I’d highly recommend this pub to anyone and I will definitely come back 100%

I'm not a fan of chain pubs usually, but this venue is far better than most. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the staff are friendly and full of conversation. A perfect pint of Guinness and a decent burger for £12.50 is a sound investment. All served with a smile - Josie on this particular occasion was her usual, jokey / helpful presence.

I always have a great time at Oneills Beckenham. Josie and the bar staff are amazing. Josie starts pouring my pint as soon as I walk in the door and sets up my tab without me needing to ask. Great friendly service. Food is great and they always show the sports on the big screen tv. Highly recommended.

This is my favourite pub in Beckenham! All of the staff are amazing. Especially Rebecca, Dan, Harrison & Charlie. They also make the best cheesy garlic bread ever!!

Website says dog friendly but we were asked what type of dog and told there were no tables. There was a table reserved 30 minutes after we arrived and we only wanted a quick drink to warm up so sat at it. Was visited by the barmaid and told to leave asap or sit in the garden. Told dogs that bark are not allowed. He only barked when she approached. Gave a stern remark on my exit. Dont think it really is dog friendly. Shame as so close to beckenham place park with lots of dog walkers wanting a warm respite from the cold. Nice enough pub otherwise but don’t feel anyone in the customer service industry should ever be that rude to paying customer 2 or 4 legged

Spent new years here in 2023/4 and the night couldn’t have been made better. Brilliant staff and a great atmosphere. If you only have time for one pint in Beckenham, I urge you drink it here.
