O'Neill's in Winchester is a good place to have a drink

We loved the food on the new festive menu, all VERY tasty, service was great too! Slight niggle with the pricing though, the festive menu did say 3 courses from £18.49 although we did not see any individual pricing except marked extras which we avoided, yet still paid £50 for 2 meals, plus drinks.

We visited on a Sunday night, live football was just finishing which was good as it's quite loud and annoying if you aren't interested in it. Food and drinks were excellent. Although they don't include an offer of £1.50 drinks any more with food the quality of the food is miles better than those pubs that do have similar offers. The food is still good value and very well cooked and nicely presented and at £10.50 for a cheese and bacon burger great value. Staff are friendly too.

Cannot fault this amazing Irish bar! The staff are incredibly friendly- George especially was very knowledgable when it came to gins and rums- which made my friends very happy! Overall fantastic experience, all the staff were very welcoming and hospitable! Mike, George, Ben, Conor are a great bunch of guys and the food is also incredible, big props to the chefs! Despite how busy it was with the football was served quickly, will 100% be back and recommend to friends!

Popped in Friday night after a meal elsewhere. It was busy, standing only, typical Saturday in town. Live band were really good. Every drink you could think of is available. Staff all friendly. A LOT of drunk people at 10pm, most happy but a couple of older guys clearly struggling to stay upright which made it a little on edge waiting to see if something would come of it (kept bumping in to people). But 95% of people having a good time. Very mixed crowd of you, old, male, female.

We often come here as a Family for food. Yesterday there were 18 of us. Food was good, the Servers were all great and friendly. We are always happy to come here. I see they do buffets, we may try one soon. Thank you again

Still Maintaining the very good standards of service and quality of food after many visits Very good for breakfast. 0900hrs opening reinstated for Sunday Consistent excellent service and quality for all our visits. Staff always make us very welcome. Breakfast on a Sunday has been a regular event with members of our family COVID put a stop to that for awhile,but very happy to return once again. One large screen tv, also a number of tables have individual screens 13A sockets and usb charging points. These tables can be reserved . This should be one of the best places to watch televised sport. A very good menu with a wide selection of snacks and meals available. Service and quality of food was excellent as usual. Now a few more customers at breakfast.

Came for a few drinks with a mate and had a great experience. Lauren on table service was outstanding, incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. Been a doorman for 3 years and honestly need more people like her in the industry

Been here once before, Peter thank you for that visit (and letting us watch the darts) but this time praise must go to Helen. What an employee. She served us amazingly and was so friendly, will go far and deserves to. Would employ all staff in an instant from this place. Chefs do an amazing job, place is immense, hopefully head office see this if not management make sure they do, see you in December

Lovely relaxed place. Stopped in for food and was assisted by a young man, tall with a full dark beard who was good humoured engaging and genuine. Food was served in a timely manner, hot and tasty. Highly recommended.

The breakfast of the “champions” 😇. I had to try this breakfast that looks more like lunch 😃 There was no shortage of Guinness Stout. I recommend trying it out.

Came to O’Neills for some food and few drinks, and was very surprised by the great service. Food was pretty reasonable, but made even better by our waitress Ellen - couldn’t fault her friendliness, and managed to make me and my friends laugh a lot. Would definitely come back because of her! Thank you! :)

He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. The service was prompt and efficient, and he even went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Had a Dining Out voucher so decided to try O'neill's. Popped in lunchtime to "look see". The service was very good, cheerful and friendly and the menu, interesting. Came back later for dinner and were very impressed. My wife had Fish and Chips which she enjoyed and I had the Mega Mixed Gril. Normally I polish this off with ease but here I struggled. It really was Mega and well cooked. We'll be back.

Went in to watch the football, less said about that, the better. But the food was great, had a chicken burger with some dirty fries, it was amazing.

We went for Father’s Day, last minute decision and they catered quickly for 13 of us to sit and eat. The food was hot and came fairly quickly. There was an incident where my daughter ended up poorly whilst there. Pete who works there was amazing. Helped clean up mess and made sure my daughter was okay. He made us feel very welcome and wanting us to come back again! We all need a bloke like Pete! Thankyou again!

Went there in the morning and had a big breakfast, and I enjoyed every mouth full.

Found ourselves on a Sunday late evening with a declining number of restaurants still serving (understandable). Walked into here and had a good experience. Drinks were appropriately made, beer was cold, and snacks were good. The Angry something were quite spicy, the chicken quesadillas were better than expected, the kimchi spheres were good too. The pizza and burger were appropriately well flavored. Will end up here again - thanks to the great staff.
