Best indo Chinese food in the city with uni favours. Especially try chicken munchuriya and spicy chips

food turned up very late, stated 25-40 minutes but took over an hour and a half to get here, box was were opened and food was cold by the time it got here, didn't taste very good either. waste of money ordering from here and won't order again.

ordered from this restaurant today and i ordered 4 large create your own boxes. All my orders came mixed up between the boxes, chicken was mushy, was given the wrong food, chips were soggy and overall just a bad experience. Would rather eat the brick the building is made out of. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Went here a few times and the last time the whole experience was absolutely terrible and disgusting. This place needs an immediate food and safety investigation being conducted as there food is unhygienic and cooked in a dirty environment. My whole family after eating this food felt sick for few days. The owners dont care and no apologises or anything. Shame on the owners and the uneducated student workers who work there. AVOID THIS 0 STAR RATING PLACE

I am disappointed. My food came open and cold , all spilled in the bag and went straight into the bin I am not happy with my order .. I want a refund please this was not worth my money at all and I am very angry and disappointed.

Disappointing experience at Oodles in Sheffield. The food lacked flavor, and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. Service was unprofessional and slow, with staff appearing uninterested. The restaurant itself felt unhygienic, with dirty tables and utensils. Definitely not worth the money or visit.

Good service, superb food, excellent atmosphere

Food: choice of sides/starters and 3 sizes of snack box. You pick 2 bases and 2 toppings from a decent selection of options. I don’t think this place has been open as long as some places on London Road, so it tends to be a bit quiet in there at present, which is good in that everything is prepared fresh - you’ll likely only be waiting around 10 minutes. Solid 4/5 for what you’re getting. Service: all the staff are really friendly and accommodating. If you’re confused as to which options might go well together, they’re happy to make suggestions. 5/5. Atmosphere: like I say, it’s hardly bustling in there, but that’s not unique to that end of London Road at present. 3/5. If you’re in the area and looking for an Asian-inspired munchie box, I can definitely recommend trying this place.

Food was not good and not value for money.

Pretty good food, great service and the atmosphere is alright. But the value for money is pretty good and the food looks like it's more than you'd expect.

Wish I’d read the reviews before. Chicken tastes poor quality, because it’s all shoved in one box the chips and chicken batter are soggy. Veg is like frozen peas and sweet corn. Spring rolls were nice, but all in I paid £20 for a meal which was subpar. Unfortunately wouldn’t order again or recommend.

Useless. Asked what's in the sezchuan rice and was directed to a QR code on the wall(?). Then told they don't have the value box so I have to pay £2 more for food I don't want...sort it out lads!

After being a customer for few years I am absolutely disgusted with how they cooked and sent our meals out. I emailed head office and the Sheffield Branch and still guess what no response or no refund. Such a shame and the upsetting thing is we all got food poisoning from them. I will request everyone to be aware and stay aware form this 0 star business who don’t care about customers or food or hygiene and only want money.

Absolutely shocking service at Oodles in Sheffield. I called ahead with a simple request to have the chips placed in a separate box—nothing outrageous, just a basic bit of customer care. They flat-out refused! It’s ridiculous that they couldn’t accommodate such a straightforward request, especially when so many other restaurants happily do this without fuss. The staff came across as unhelpful and dismissive, with zero interest in customer satisfaction. If this is how they treat people, it makes me wonder how much effort they actually put into their food. I didn’t even bother going in after that phone call—who wants to give their money to a place that clearly doesn’t value its customers? Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay clear!

Absolutely awful!! Paid extra on top for the prawns, to get 2! 2 prawns! The portion size is stingy and not worth it, should be absolutely ashamed

Overpriced especially for the quality of food. Soggy chips, not real spice even though it said it was spicy, it’s just mid not even mid it’s below mid. Chilli prawns weren’t even Chilli prawns!!!! It’s was dry no spice on it and it was covered in batter.

I’d heard great things about their noodles, so I went to give them a try. The taste was good, but I was really disappointed with the portion size. I ordered a large, but it barely felt like a medium. It would be much better if they adjusted the box sizes to match what’s advertised—even if it means a slight price increase. It’s frustrating to feel misled on portion sizes!

Will order from here again as it was very delicious with a good selection of food to choose from and the ice cream is lovely too

The food lacked so much flavour. Was very dry, I had sweet and sour chicken and only got 4 pieces of chicken from that! So sad, so disappointed please do better xx

The driver patiently waited as I was running late.

Ordered a large and was not a large. Paid the extra for the beef and it was tasty, just again was in a regular sized portion box.

Large box is very small for £12.99!

I recently ordered from the Oodles Noodles Sheffield branch and was disappointed with the experience. The chicken wings were so undercooked, they were still clucking (picture attached)! The Udon noodles were excessively peppery, so much so that each bite burned my throat and made me cough. Additionally, the sweet chili sauce was lacking in flavour. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, and I hope the team can take it on board to improve for future customers.

Ordered food that didn't arrive, so we drove 20 mins to collect and were told there was nothing they could do, no food, no refund. All blamed on the driver. Disgraceful. Don't use.

Had to wait 25 minutes for my noodles to arrive which is crazy for fast food. Service was otherwise good and the food was pretty tasty. Crispy veg was not actually crispy though. The Szechuan rice and Katsu veg were good. Would go again if they had more vegan options like Tofu. Might have been coincidence but I had some short lived stomach problems 20 minutes after eating there.

Nice customer service. First time trying oodles and wasn't sure what to go for so the server was very friendly and helpful but it was all a little bit underwhelming tbh, found it all to be very mid. Noodles were overcooked, egg rice is so poor-just boiled rice with egg whites. There isn't loads of protein and no veg despite ordering vegetebable noodles and 2 different styles of chicken. The crispy chicken isn't crispy and . The Malaysian chicken had a nice flavour in the sauce tho but seemingly no chicken. Pretty filling for the price cos it's all carbs. Didn't hate it but also won't be returning. There's alot better choice on London road. Plus they charged extra for taking out than eating in.

Literally the best takeaway around! Absolutely love this place. I order off Uber eats at least once a week because of how nice this food actually is. I’m fully addicted and won’t go anywhere else now

Phoned to ask if they do gluten free, she said you can check online, which I had already done so I said it doesn't say online and she just hung up. So disappointed, it is so hard being a celiac trying to get food anywhere

missed items off my 1st order. so got me to make a second order, saying it would be free and delivered the missing stuff with this. but I have paid for this one, including pretty big delivery fee and I didn't really want it. Expected this to be refunded or something but they've just got an extra £10 out of me for something I didn't really want. I tipped the delivery guy who messed up the 1st order too. Lady was helpful on the phone but I didn't realise I was going to be paying an extra £10.

Ok, not great, and arrived cold. Think I probably made the wrong choices as the flavours were all pretty much the same, apart from the strong chilli in the noodles which made up about 70% of the box. Ended up leaving a lot.

The food came with live maggots on it. They won't answer the phone. They don't respond to the online form.

Fresh and tasty. Egg fried rice that is not claggy. Veggies still have the perfect crunch

I have been to oodles a few times. Staff is always polite. Food is good price is competitive I'd say. Few items on menu are very spicy like proper hot but they are nice.

The food was nice but it was like a kids meal for the price

They don't really have descriptions of the dishes ingredients which makes it difficult to choose what to have, especially if you have dietary restrictions.

Very welcoming staff and great tasting food

Everything you order from the set menu comes in mean portions in the same box. The sweet and sour was extra mean. The king prawns were missing. Everything fell out of the box as one lump of mush. You can work it out yourself whether or not I'll be going back.

I ordered egg fried rice, chips, and BBQ chicken. I receive soggy chips in the same box as the chicken and noodles instead of rice. I would have rather not received the order :)

Loved that they didn’t tone down on the spice so if it mentions “spicy”, believe that it is. I’m picky about stir fry noodles as an Asian but the udon has become a favourite. Have come back again and hopefully more in the future.

Very overpriced! £12.50 for a "large" box, which is very small as you can see from the photo. £25 for 2 people.. Chinese takeaway or even a restaurant would be better value. Food was nice although very spicy.

Good things first- love the concept, have never tried anything like this- so much choice, there is an amazing amount of possible combinations. Particularly liked the spicy chips. Could easily be improved by less of a wait time (they apologized) and also I think there should be menus on the tables- didn't even know there were sides available until we went up to the counter, for example. With a couple of tweaks, could be much much better- definitely worth a try if they can decrease the wait time.

Ordered 1 hour before we came to collect, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes but still had to wait for 35-40 minutes which happens I guess. Went to collect food and they had given our starters to someone else so had to wait. Asked to just refund the starter but they insisted not to and would give us a free spring roll. The lady confirmed and said she put cutlery in so didn’t think to check, but there was no cutlery once we checked. Then top it off there was a flippin wire in my food?! Looked like the metal brush they used to clean the dishes with. The food was nice but not worth all that hassle.

Food took over an hour to prepare after being told it would take 20 minutes, arrived at location to which we were told to come back in 10 minutes. After an hour food was provided with no cutlery even though we had asked the lady to which she confirmed it was in there! To top it off our starter had been given away. Really enjoyed eating noodles with our hands. Food was nice tbf however my sister found a wire in her food. The customer service provided by the lady was awful she was laughing and smiling after seeing we were obviously not happy with her!! Will not be coming back again.

My honest opinion if you’re planning on ordering.. leave out the noodle collection so bland and no taste whatsoever! Delivery accuracy was 10/10 food overall came bland and not warm enough to put on a plate and just eat.

sweet, sticky, sickly, mushy, soggy, smelled weird, tasted almost as weird... and really expensive! do yourself a favour and go anywhere else on london road. not worth the price, and not worth the state of the toilet later that evening

The portions of food are tiny, a large box fits in the palm of my hand and the food itself was absolutely disappointing, I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fries, the sauce was basically just water so my fries were half submerged and soggy and there was such little chicken, I might as well have not ordered any

For a food blogger's event - we waited an hour and 15 mins for "fast food" even though we were advised half an hour wait when we ordered, which was an hour after the restaurant's opening time.... Food was ok when it finally arrived a bit sloppy and mushy in one box. King Rolls are good and the paneer veg with noodles is nice. Don't think I'll be returning
