I've been here last night with my family and had mixed spicy skewer, it was the mosttt delicious food. Staff were very lovely and was able to help when needed (Fatima, thank you!) We will be back very soon

The restaurants appearance is lovely and staff are friendly however the food is very terrible. For starters we had the spicy king prawns which only contained 4 prawns for £10.50. For mains my friends were recommended the Paris Steak which was small in size, the sauce tasted terrible and looked like vomit on a plate. I had the ribs which was okay but lacked seasoning and the salad it came with had a strong taste of pickles.

Can’t believe I’ve never been here before. Popped in for a lunch with my colleague. Service was efficient, the food was fresh and the portions were large. So much so, the baklava was a struggle to finish. Was extremely impressed. Will be booking again for my birthday. Thank you Opuz

My wife and i have visited Opuz on quite a few occasions and we have never been disappointed. Being non drinkers, we are very impressed with the mocktails on offer (we have pretty much done the menu). The service and food is outstanding. Stefan, our waiter was very professional and made us feel very welcome.

Dined at Opuz prior to the New Year as a family celebration. We were so impressed with the restaurant layout. Feels like you are somewhere else outside of Aylesbury. I opted for the steak cafe de Paris as recommended by friends who have dined at opuz before. It did not disappoint. Elena was a fantastic waitress and went above and beyond especially with 1 of our parties having quite a few dietry restrictions. Thanks Elena. Great service.

We had lunch in Opuz with my friends. We chose the lunch deal they were promoting.We also ordered additional foods that were not on the lunch deal menu. It did not disappoint us. It was satisfying and delicious. The service is fantastic, and the servers are pleasant and friendly. :)

A big shoutout to Jerin, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. The food was absolutely incredible—every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. I especially loved the spicy lamb skewer, which was a highlight of the evening. I went to Opuz to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was lovely and had an amazing atmosphere. The waiters Jerry and Stefan were especially amazing and very accommodating to our needs, definitely made the experience extra special! My wife and I were looking to have a couple of Cocktails each before heading over to the Cinema. We had an hour to kill so thought it would be nice to sit in there. I asked the Waitress at the door if this would be OK to make sure they knew we were not eating. We sat at the Bar waiting to be served. There were two Bar Staff making drinks. Not one of them even had the decency to make eye contact with either of us let alone take an order. After 20 mins the original Waitress asked us if we had ordered to which we said no and that we hadn't even been acknowledged let alone had an order taken. Now I appreciate it was a Friday night but even if one of them had said Hi or be with you in 5 or sorry just have these to make and will be with you shortly etc then i can live that, but to be left sat at a bar with staff literally on your shoulder without saying a word is not acceptable. My point is that if i cant go in there and be treated as a customer for what would of been a small £40-50 Bill for a couple of Drinks why should i book to eat and spend what really would be closer to three times that maybe more if your out for the night with Drinks and Food etc. We were really disappointed as heard really good things about the place and had every intention of visiting this year. We walked out. Didn't spend a bean and went next door to Aurelia where we we explained exactly the same situation that we we weren't eating but.... Opuz we will not be coming back.

Opuz Aylesbury gave me food poisoning from the chicken satay 🙃 I literally got ill after starting to eat the meal I have thrown up several times & been on the loo 🚻 unfortunately so has my friend, who had a bit of mine and confirm it was awful got ill too! she had the chicken wings & salad 🥗 Not a great way to start 2025 having to call 111 paramedics YES I DO HAVE A MEDICAL REPORT. We were given a menu by a goth looking girl who was giving us evils 😈 maybe cos were dressed up & looking good for NYE! No NEED to give us rank food! This WAS reported to Management after I got hot sweats & vomited in opuz loos whilst still in the restaurant 🤢 **Opuz acknowledged they poisoned me and took my meal off the bill!** I have been violently vomiting and had diarrhoea both ends for 72 hrs I have since called back & spoken to Management who have apologised and offered another free meal. I declined.

I love this restaurant. All the staff are very good and attentive, you feel like you are in a high end restaurant. I have been here countless times since they opened and have never had the need to complain about anything at all! This is the best restaurant in Aylesbury, in my opinion! Highly recommend.

I attended my Company Christmas meal at Opuz in Aylesbury over the weekend and it was excellent. Great atmosphere and the food was incredible. I had the Wagyu Burger and it was cooked just right and was very tasty indeed. I would also highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were all very helpful and attentive as well. Overall a great experience and I hope to go back soon. Highly recommended.

Food was good. Said we would do tip in cash.... They still added a 10% charge on the card reader and said it was automatically done.. service is discretionary. Not a UK law.

Second time I’ve been the food ain’t great ! Especially compared to Turkish in London. Today I feel sick and have a dodgy belly other members from my group do aswell. Overpriced for poor quality food waste of money when not enjoyable or now feeling ill from it fuming… won’t be coming here again also asked for my lamb well done wasn’t well done and too fatty

For my son’s 21st birthday we booked this restaurant. I am so glad we did because the service from Bita was amazing excellent, the food was fabulous, and the venue looked so plush. Lovely seats and a huge bar. Thank you so much for making his birthday so lovely. Update 09-12-24 Just visited for lunch. Excellent food and great service. Opus Restaurant is a fantastic choice for a lively evening out, especially for a group celebration like a leaving do. I opted for the mixed grill with fries on the side, and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender, flavoursome, and cooked to perfection, while the accompanying salad was fresh and delicious. A standout from the table was the lamb shank—beautifully presented and clearly a hit with those who ordered it. For a fun, energetic evening with good food and excellent service, Opus Restaurant is a great choice. It’s a place I’d happily return to for another celebration or just a good meal out.

Shame. The food is excellent. The management show pure greed and naive business acumen. When you book a party for ten people and pay deposits for all, which is normal. When one person is unwell and doesn’t attend, you don’t expect that deposit to be taken and told we are keeping it as didn’t make money on them. Yes, if all or a proportion don’t show then reasonable, but very poor and stupid from a business perspective for obvious reasons.

Went here for my birthday and had such a lovely experience. The food was really nice and the staff were soo friendly especially Elena, they gave me a little birthday surprise which was honestly soo sweet. Definitely would recommend this place.

We wanted a reasonably quick meal before a show at Waterside and this fitted the bill perfectly. Staff very helpful & friendly; menu interesting and enough choices for our vegetarians. Prices reasonable.

Really good experience here, and hence we took friends back just a few weeks later! We enjoyed the Sujuk (sausage) starter along with the calamari and falafel which were all flavoursome & nicely presented. Then for mains, we had the creamy chicken, boneless chicken, mixed Shish (definitely recommend) and the seafood sauté. The latter dish was interesting as it was all the various types of fish but served in almost a soup like sauce but taste wise it was delicious even if visually it wasn’t what I was expecting! I have to say that the portions are very generous too which means value is good overall for the food dishes. Wine was pretty good quality, especially the Romero Malbec, even if the standard South East UK pricing pushes you towards having a glass rather than a bottle as £11+ for a glass is rather steep especially in Aylesbury! Good, friendly service, especially given it was packed in there on a weekend evening. Overall, definitely recommend and will be back!

Fantastic lamb shish and friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like in a high end posh restaurant. Prices are pricey, but well worth paying for what you get. Finding parking around the area is the serious challenge.

My partner and I visited here to celebrate my birthday as it was on our list of restaurants to try after recently moving to the area. First impressions were great, we were greeted in a welcoming and friendly way, the decor is beautiful inside the restaurant and seating very comfortable. Service, however, started slow. It took a while before we were given menus, we were able to order drinks reasonably quickly but then...nothing. After half an hour we still hadn't received our drinks or had our food order taken. There did appear to be a staffing issue, the restaurant is quite large and looked to be about half full when we were dining yet there were only a couple of waiters and just one person behind the bar making drinks (and this place has an extensive cocktail menu which plenty of people seemed to be ordering from which aren't exactly quick drinks to make). Staff seemed to be far too busy to be fully attentive to diners yet they were always friendly and polite when we did interact with them. Presumably the kitchen wasn't quite as thin on the ground staff wise as once our food orders had been taken our starters arrived quickly and the mains followed swiftly afterwards. We were served bread (large, puffed up pitta bread) and some dipping sauces which were lovely, we had a sharing starter of borek, halloumi, calamari, falafel, hummus and sujuk which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The calamari was perfectly cooked and the borek was beautiful. We'd definitely have this again. For mains I went with lamb shish whilst my partner had the beek cheeks. My lamb was lovely, again perfectly cooked with 6 large chunks present on my plate. Unfortunately the rest of my plate was salad. Not even a particularly nice salad, grated carrot, shredded lettuce, picked red cabbage and rocket in separate piles. The salad to meat ratio was poor value for the £20.50 cost for the meal and if it wasn't for the starter, I'd definitely have still been hungry after finishing my meal. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the meal dishes on the menu are served with these piles of salad leaves so you definitely need starters and/or sides for a filling meal here. My partner's beef cheeks were served with a small amount of mash potato and covered in a mushroom gravy, however. His meal was much more 'put together' and again, was absolutely lovely. The gravy was really tasty and the beek cheeks just dissolved in your mouth, incredibly tender. We moved onto desserts, apple crumble and blueberry creme brulee. Again, the creme brulee was expertly cooked, excellent texture and tasted great. The apple crumble contained walnuts and sultanas, the crumble topping was lovely and it was served with a dollop of very flavoursome and creamy vanilla ice cream as well as a little jug of custard on the side. This was a lovely desert, tasty but not overly sweet in my opinion. In addition to this we had a couple of cocktails each, there was a good selection of cocktails including classics and something a bit different you wouldn't find anywhere else. We thoroughly enjoyed them. The total bill, including 12.5% service charge (which is always a big bare of mine, just charge what you need to charge for the food rather than slapping an extra £15 on the bill for the privilege of having it bought to the table!) came to around £135. We left full after a mostly enjoyable meal and didn't mind the price too much given it was for a special occasion. We would be back again but would probably opt for the lunch in future. The lunch menu is a bit smaller but still with plenty of choice and most of the dishes also feature on the a la carte menu, they're just half the price on the lunch time menu.

Fabulous food in a lovely setting. The staff were efficient, friendly and knowledgable. There was an excellent drinks menu with extensive non-alcoholic options. Food was out quick and piping hot, which is ideal if you are combining a meal with an event at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre or a film at the Odeon Luxe, both of which are opposite.

I liked the lunchtime menu. The interiors are also very nice.

I came here for my birthday yesterday evening and the whole time was lovely. The restaurant is very nice looking, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The added touch of the candle and writing on the dessert was really nice, and was appreciated by both myself, and my wife who had booked the meal out. Will definitely be back!

This is the first restaurant that I have been ushered out of so that someone else could use our table When we had just spent nearly £1000 . I found it very rude and a insult to our custom. This was a 50th birthday party so not a rowdy group of youngsters.

Went here on Saturday 5th Oct to Celebrate a friends Birthday. We booked a table for 2 people at 5.30pm. I wish I had a picture of the Food, because it was absolutely divine! We had the following... BEETROOT DELIGHT V Cooked beetroot, feta cheese drizzled with vinaigrette dressing BOREK V Cigar shaped crispy filo pastry filled with feta, halloumi, spinach and fresh herbs, served with sweet chilli dip LAMB SHISH Prime cuts of marinated lamb cubes, served with salad CHICKEN SHISH Marinated cubes of chicken breast, served with salad With a Side order of Chips and a side order of Broccoli. We had no room for dessert, but they brought out a sweet treat Happy Birthday surprise which was really lovely. Great attentive service throughout the meal and the cocktails are really well made. It wasn't busy when we arrived but it was packed by the time we left. All in all it was a really pleasant experience and I will definitely visit again!

Really disappointed - came here for my auntie’s birthday celebration, the service was poor; our server was very rude and blunt, not at all accommodating I ordered the Cafe du Paris Steak and found not one but TWO hairs in my food - when I asked our server to sort it out, there was no apology and it took another 40 minutes for a new, different meal to arrive; no manager came over to apologise and nothing was discounted from our bill - I did not feel accommodated during my visit Apart from the nice decor in this restaurant, I will NOT be eating here again - very disappointing ☹️

Awesome ceiling heights and decor and features. There's a mezzanine level, a viewing window into the kitchen, and easy parking in the municipal open air car park within metres. Food presented stylishly. Tasty haloumi and mushroom starter. Super fresh salad and succulent chicken and lamb shish for main course and 'birthday baklava' and a luscious, velvety mocca to round things off. The cosmopolitan, upbeat team members who looked after the seven of us were friendly and attentive, without being overly intrusive. 31.8.24. Dined here again, with a booking big enough to effectively monopolise the mezannine. Both the food and the staff were excellent.

We went there for the hype and found the food was great etc, until we found a hair on one of the sauces and when we told the server it was 'plastic ' (must be very long blonde hair plastic),, that is the moment we said we were done. Would I recommend? I don't doubt it after the experience. I'm sure it will be one off.

There wasn’t a wide range of vegetarian options, and the service was a little slow. However, 10/10 atmosphere, the live entertainment was amazing and the aesthetic of the restaurant was very appealing. The waiters are also very friendly.

Walked by when we arrived said "this looks great will have lunch here" So glad we did. Great food, great service , wonderful atmosphere and decor. Gf had the salmon fillet , and I had the lamb saute. Went there for a lovely meal. Service was excellent, our waitress (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was very attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. The bread that supplemented the dips was really nice and topped up when we ran out. It was my birthday and they gave me a lovely dessert and a brief happy birthday which was a nice touch

Good was okay I have been to the other opuz in Hemel and Watford and both are better value, portions are bigger and they do not charge extra for rice or chips it comes with the £20 main course price they seem to be charging more to get the spend up. Service was nothing special I think as they add service charge on to every bill they do not need to try as they know they just add it on regardless.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Finally a restaurant in Aylesbury where the owners have put in a decent amount of money to make it a all round great experience. My borek starter and chicken skewer main was so delicious and good value for money. There is also a very good selection of wines and other drinks too. There was a mishap with some of the food but this was rectified quickly by staff who were very attentive. Thanks Opuz for a lovely meal.

Outstanding as usual. Fantastic value lunch at £15 per head. The lamb was yet again - a dream. A beautiful restaraunt with all of the expected hubbub of a fine dining establishment. Always an absolute pleasure to dine here. Sometimes Opuz can be exceptionally busy but Sel and the team work exceptionally hard to keep everyone content, which judging by some of these reviews, isn't an easy task?! If you are one to expect take away style food and gross portion sizes, arriving in just 5 minutes from ordering - then this is not the right eatery for you. If you expect top quality, clean and freshly prepared authentic Turkish foods, always served with a smile, then do not hesitate to book a table. We visit at least once a week and we are always most welcome. Saturday nights are a wow for larger dinner parties and their resident live musicians are fab. However, any night of the week ensures top level service and a food experience not to be missed.

We travelled from our home time for the 2nd time now to eat at this restaurant. All of use enjoyed the food and it was a shame that we forgot to take a picture of it before we are everything we had. Next time we will upload a picture
