Oriel in Hillingdon

Servicio rápido y excelente desayuno vegetariano juntos. Zumo de naranja recién exprimido y muy buen café. El personal fue extremadamente servicial y me impresionó lo atentos que estaban en la limpieza y en limpiar los restos de comida tan pronto como cada cliente se fue, lo que a la luz de los problemas recientes es muy tranquilizador. Sin duda lo recomendaría si vuela desde la terminal 3.

Vine aquí porque los restaurantes a los que quería ir estaban antes de la seguridad o aún no habían abierto (a pesar de la información en el sitio web de Heathrow). Mi reseña es para el restaurante de la terminal 5. El servicio fue rápido y mi camarera Anna fue muy atenta y fantástica. Los camareros te vigilaban constantemente, lo cual era agradable, ya que nunca tenías que luchar para llamar la atención de nadie o preocuparte por el tiempo. Tuve el risotto de remolacha y fondant de chocolate. La comida era normal, no necesariamente algo por lo que moriría por volver, pero tampoco evitaría el lugar como la plaga. Me gustó que hubiera puntos de carga en casi todas las mesas para que pudiera cargar su teléfono o trabajar en su computadora portátil, etc.

Attended for breakfast before an early flight and was not disappointed. Smashed avocado with poached egg and a champagne cocktail. Delicious! Reasonable pricing and service.

Oriel is always a must stop when passing through Terminal 3, Heathrow. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Servers are knowledgeable and helpful. There are lovely comfortable booths and you never feel rushed. There's a gluten free menu too. On a particularly nasty February day, a bowl of potato leek soup was especially reviving. Served with a generous helping of gf bread, it left me with enough appetite for dessert. Cremè caramel, delicious! Highly recommended.

Stopped for breakfast. Similar price to the rest of the breakfasts in t3 but the quality is better so you get a bit more for your money. Way over the top on allergies though. They asked about allergies when I arrived, I said I had a peanut allergy which was fine. Then they didn’t bring me butter as it contained lactose, when I asked for brown sauce they said they have to check the allergies, which all seemed to be provoked from a little flag in my food. Felt like I got the leper treatment. If I was so allergic to any of the breakfast ingredients I wouldn’t be ordering one, and if I ate something knowingly then I class this as natural selection.

I have been served by beautiful young lady called Victoria, asked me how my day was and where I’m off to, she also helped me and my friend choose what to eat for lunch. We had pork schnitzel and duck burger and it was amazing. Had a great time and the service was 10/10. Definitely going to come back next time we flying for terminal 4 Kazi

Breakfast stop before heading to USA. Pretty quick service and appeared to be one of the better priced breakfasts. Service can be quick if you have connections. Good food, but perhaps a little tepid. Some pastries out of stock for breakfast, a little disappointing. Usual airport prices, but a pretty good departure breakfast

Had a lovely breakfast before our holiday. Defiantly recommend the Eggs Benni with Duck.. was an interesting and delicious combo. Anthony our waiter was very friendly and nice to a have a little chat with.

I had various great experiences here. Staff always very nice and polite and food is very well presented and delicious. The pork Schnitzel is fantastic. It doesn’t feel like you are in an airport restaurant. Highly recommended!

Staff was awesome, efficient and friendly. We ate starter, main course, dessert and had some wine and cocktails. Everything was so delicious, unbelievable to an airport restaurant! The 7 hour layover was flying by :)

Very pleased with the service, only needed a drink before our flight. Of course no problem. We were served by Candy who was a delight. Because of her friendly disposition we decided to eat and have another drink, which we enjoyed the cheese was very tasty. Couldn’t fault.

Ordered the Oriel burger and it was not tasty at all plus the cheese was not included, you needed to pay extra for it. Frozen meals, quickly warmed up in the grill or the oven, that’s the impression I got. Customer service was fine.

Llegué al aeropuerto unas 4 horas antes del vuelo y me instalé en el maravilloso restaurante Oriel. Con comida deliciosa y el mejor café que tuve en Londres. Y todo esto con la maravillosa atmósfera aportada por el maravilloso equipo: Maria, Laslio y Ash.

Late lunch before flying back home with family. We ordered egg Benedict, seafood risotto and baked salmon fillet All taste very good and enough portion. Dessert is wonderful as well. Service of the staff is friendly yet professional. Value for money as an airport restaurant. Definitely will come back next time.10 out of 10!

Having been travelling for 4 hrs we were hungry. I had eggs benedict and my friend had a burger.... Both were served rapidly so. It any time wasted which is a necessity at the airport. Food was tasty and fresh. The waitress... young lady was great too, always smiling and pleasant. Great stuff

Looked a nice place to have a pre flight lunch. Greeted by friendly team and shown to table. Chose the omelette which came with fries and lovely salad and was very fresh and delicious accompanied with a half a beer. Very good value for money.

Came here with my partner for my pre-flight meal, nothing special, looks better then it tastes! Service was so so, I would recommend to wait until your inside the departure hall of you want to eat, the good thing was that they had gluten free options

Ordered prawn cocktail, it really didn’t taste of anything, bland Marie Rose sauce. For mains I selected pork escalope with fries, spinach on the plate was horrible and dry and stuck to the plate.the fries were stale and soggy so I sent them back and went for new potatoes which were stale too. What a disappointing experience before a long haul flight. It is also very overpriced.

We called early afternoon prior to a long flight and were not disappointed.

Flying from T3 later that morning, I was recommended to eat at Oriel Grande Brasserie. Greeted right away by a very friendly member of staff and taken to a clean and well laid out table. It was very busy! However, Candy the manager on duty came over to see that I liked my table and wanted a drink while I looked. She continued to be perfect throughout the duration of my full English breakfast meal and Bloody Mary beverage. Smiley staff all around and the service was very quick indeed! Second time I’ve eaten at an Oriel and the first being at T2. I would absolutely recommend this venue. Great selection of food and good healthy choices too! I just wanted to pig out! Lol. Enjoy!!

I came late morning and wanted something substantial. For starters I had the King prawn cocktail with avocado, green apple, baby gem lettuce, chives, Espelette pepper, Marie Rose sauce that was very good. Then to finish it off I had the Baked Salmon Fillet with Béarnaise sauce and new potatoes. Also good and hot.

We had Aida at Terminal 3 and she was the best... friendly, great service and made our meal. The food was good too.

Me and my friend got served by Simona. A lovely girl who was very nice and wasn’t annoying at all. Did her job perfectly, even if it was her first day at work.

Went here for breakfast. I had garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast with scrambled egg. My wife had the smashed avocado on toast. Served by Jailesh who was very friendly and dealt with allergy problems. Food arrived promptly, hot and delicious. Nice ambiance for a busy airport. Would definitely eat here again.

Stopped in on a layover and grabbed some quick food and a drink with my girlfriend. The food was great and I asked for a Manhattan, (a whiskey drink)... the bartender, Wilson, did an excellent job. He also made a great Bloody Mary for my girlfriend. I would definitely recommend this great restaurant.

Really fab place to grab a quick bite before a flight. The service was friendly and helpful. There were several things that we wanted on the menu that they'd run out of, but they were very accommodating. I went for the poached eggs on gluten-free bread with squshed avocado and my other half went for the all-day veggie breakfast, and a side of saute potatoes and red pepper hash (from the gluten-free menu). Loved the smoothies too - they were quite thin but tasty - the berry one and the tropical we would recommend. Fast and well-priced.

Our flight was delayed but that gave us the opportunity to savour the delights of Oriel in Heathrow Terminal 3. Drinks, Christmas gin and tonic and wine by the glass were good and sensibly priced. But the charming service was the star performance: Violeta and Ioanna were so helpful and welcoming. And the Salmon Tians are excellent if you want a light meal before flying. Two happy customers and thank you. We will return.

Called in here while waiting for our flight at T3 after reading the reviews. I had eggs benedict with ham and my friend had scrambled eggs and bacon. Both were very nice. The tea and coffee were good too. The restaurant was bright and airy and the staff were quick to take our order but didn’t rush you to leave. I would definitely use this restaurant again if I was flying from T3

I popped in for breakfast before a flight to France. Despite the restaurant not being busy and me taking a seat by the entrance, I had to wave my arms to get the staff’s attention to ask for a menu. I ordered the Oriel Grande Breakfast (£12.95), a coffee and an orange juice. Minutes later the waitress returned to ask me to confirm my drinks order. With three staff serving a handful of tables, I watched as my food sat on the counter for a full 5 minutes. Kitchen staff repeatedly asked for service. None arrived. My waitress walked past the counter three times without picking up any food. When my now congealed breakfast eventually arrived, it turned out to be the smaller standard breakfast and not the full Oriel Grande. Black pudding, extra toast and bacon, another sausage and tomato were served separately once I had pointed out the mistake. My total bill came to £18.95. Oriel is convenient, has really useful sockets at the table to charge mobile phones before flights and has a nice brasserie menu. But someone really needs to shake up service and management.

We have been at Heathrow for over 9 hours on a layover. and we were dying for a glass of wine. Oriel was the first restaurant to open, and they welcomed us with open arms. We are so thankful to have met Dominic, Wilton, and Pradip. They made this layover enjoyable! Thank you!

Start of a holiday of a lifetime and came across this gem. All other places packed in area at LHR T3; its 0740 am so understandable that getting a table for breaky is prime. This place was a huge find and was an extremely enjoyable eating experience. My wife and I had freshly cooked food that was piping hot and the coffee was also great. Service and friendliness also ranks very highly - and not that expensive! The touch to have a front of house young lady in very tight fitting leather trousers clearly made a few heads turn too - great job!

Popped in for a quick bite before flying expecting the usual overpriced fare at airports (cynic) but this was delightful. The omelettes were superb and our server, a Scots lady called Gillian, was also a delight. Very helpful. A great way to start our short break.

This is a my go-to cafe at T3. Always get a seat, great coffee, quick and friendly service but never rushed, and the quality of food is very good. On a few occasions I have been served old muffins for breakfast which taste like cardboard, but more often than not the food has been quite good. I tried their chicken burger last month for the first time and that was really good.

The server was prompt and polite. Quality of service was very good. I only had Guinness and couple of desserts which were awesome.

Enjoyed a lovely cocktail at Heathrow before our flight to India. Wilson made us two great cocktails which weren't on the menu.

I do love airports, probably because I don't get to travel nearly as often as I would like. One thing I do like to do once I've got air-side is to be able to sit down for an hour, have something decent to eat without feeling hurried and be able to watch the world's travellers go by. Oriel fits the bill rather well. The staff are really nice and really efficient and because they know that you haven't actually got all the time in the world, they do make sure that your orders are dealt with quickly and you don't have to worry about time slipping away from you. I certainly recommend it.

If you have a long flight ahead this is where you can go. A great selection of breakfast foods. Service was prompt and waiter even took the time to ask if I had any food allergies!

Everytime I travel from T3 I come here. Bar staff are excellent, food and drink selection is also excellent. Barman WILSON is a top bloke, takes care of you and makes sure your glass is always full. Happy to chat when you want to,and happy to leave you in peace when you want to. Great customer service and recommend this over any other bar/restaurant in T3. Great work guys and gals. Only one criticism, bring back Wasabi peas.

I had some time before an overseas flight and decided to have a leisurely lunch here. The steak sandwich with frites was excellent. My server, Aida, was superb: professional, friendly, and attentive.

My experience with Oriel restaurant was quite nice. The food was great and very tasty. The staff was friendly. I actually asked the waitress for her name. If I remember correctly her name was Teresa. She was particularly pleasant and professional. Can't wait for my next trip to the U.K.

I generally have very low expectations of airport eating. So this place was remarkable. Even for a high street brasserie, this would have been would have been very good. With many hours to kill at Terminal 3, I went to Oriel for some food and drinks. Anna Maria was my server. She was great! Happy, positive and very efficient. Food was very good, much better than the standard fare at most airport restaurants. And, they have a a decent drinks list. Would highly recommend.

Oriel (Terminal 3) is a great space with a clean aesthetic, and very good cocktails. The bartender (Joemiro) who served me was great and especially hospitable.

Every time I fly back home, I always stop to eat at Oriel in the London Heathrow Airport. The food and quality of service is nothing short of amazing. Ana-Maria, the waitress, provided tremendous service as well!

Had a excellent breakfast at the Oriel restaurant in terminal 3, Anna-Maria was a lovely waitress definitely recommend.

I was seated promptly and asked my server, Violeta, for her advice between my two choices and she immediately directed me to her choice without words. I indicated I had a food allergy and asked to omit the nuts and she insured this would be possible with the kitchen. I had a wonderful Duck Salad and enjoyed it so much, I asked her for some bread or baguette to enjoy the remaining portion and sauces. She brought me a slice of toast instantly and then without prompting, checked to insure not allergen contamination. I was incredibly happy with the entire experience!

It's often hard to find a nice negroni, some people just don't get it. Wilson however, totally does. A cheeky smile on his face when I asked for it told me I was going to really enjoy it. Wilson did not disappoint.

Varvara looked after us again and made it to a good start for our holiday. Food bear and wine was good and served with a smile by her.

Nice Venue and amazing staff. Wilson makes the best bloody marys, perfect for my pre-flight nerves. Also had an interesting selections of cocktails and staff were willing to hold my seat when I went to the loo (not the usual airport courtesy level, far exceeded)

We were ambling about Heathrow before our flight, as you do, and looking for a nice spot to officially toast our honeymoon. As soon as we sat down Candy (the manager and one of the nicest people in the world) sat us down in a super cosy booth. The whole team were wonderfully attentive and the food was super fresh. We had the lemon sole and the lobster, which makes us sound fabulously well-to-do. We are now. Thanks to the whole team, who treated us like VIPs.

Anthony waited on my friend and I today. He was polite and efficient and we enjoyed him. Eggs Benedict were perfect and other meals we saw at neighboring tables looked good. We will come back!

My father and I dined here before our flight and we had a lovely experience! The food was amazing but the best part of our time was our lovely waitress Klara who completed our order perfectly (and we had a lot of substitutions) and with a smile. Be sure to ask for her when coming here.

I am a regular traveller, and have eaten here a few times, and have been really satisfied with the service and quality of food, however, seems to have gone down hill. Cold and undercooked breakfast. Contacted company, and not even the decency of a reply.
