Original Stratton Tandoori Take Away in Swindon

Gorgeous, flavourful food! Would definitely order again! Great doughy Naan bread, not burnt or dry. Korma wasn't bland it had great flavour. We had veg samosas & bombay potato too. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL

Really disappointed in the food, mushroom rice was dry and had lumps of dry white rice in it and to be honest the chicken passanda was chewy and not very pleasant. Won’t be ordering from here again 👎🏻

Absolutely fantastic!!! Has always been good but something has changed as it’s even better. The portion sizes have increased and the taste is great. Onion bhajis are the best we’ve had. Can’t wait to order again!

meal took an hour last time I ordered, was told sorry know your address will throw in some extras. this time 30 minutes to get here it was just warm. nothing else. 1/3 good experience wont be using them again 4/10

Chicken was awful, dry and rock hard with a very strong flavour! I couldn’t eat the chicken but the sauce was nice thankfully! Curry was in a small container and only half full. No leakage in the bag so it hadn’t leaked, so probably a third of the size of all the other curries I’ve order over recent years. The pilau rice and naan bread were really nice so perhaps I was very unlucky with the curry, but I won’t be spending £17 again to find out, it was a very expensive small meal for one!

Amazing as always. Ordered the Prawn Puri for the first time - wow it is incredible! Best curry and peshwari naan I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend.

Bang average, Luke warm not much flavour, awful mint sauce, looked radioactive. Not worst I’ve ever had but not good

Great food, delivered promptly. But Just Eat ALWAYS forget to bring the drinks, no matter which restaurant. When I complained, this man arranged for them to come in about 10 minutes, so good for him. But there must be something wrong with the system.

Food was ok apart from the popadoms. Food took over 45 mins to get to us from leaving the restaurant. All was cold which needed re-heating and the popadoms were like rubber to being cold. I would say the food was ok when warmed up, but wouldn’t order through just eat again as they deliver multiple orders in one go… mine was obviously last on his route.

Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. 100% ordering from here again, don’t bother with any of the others! The flavour of everything was sooo good! And 5 scores on the doors, you can’t go wrong.

The delivery person was very unprofessional and delivered food which was cold as it was delivered 20 min late and at first he refused to come to the door to deliver the food and giving excuses to deliver to door step and I have been charged 3£ for delivery very unprofessional delivery person cold food

I order half crispy duck... let's just say it should be called slimy duck. Hardly any meat, mostly just fat and definitely not crispy. Absolutely disgusting, only ate about 20% of it - the rest went in the bin.

I usually enjoy a curry from this place On my recent visit my egg fried rice was very crunchy Like it had eggshell in it I am only summizing but I guess that was what it was and the chicken in the curry was not the best I am now boycotting this place and the inside of the takeaway needs a good clean

I ordered a snack - a small order just for myself. They sent me completely the wrong order over an hour later, the wrong food they sent me was even stone cold. But, more importantly - when I called to inquire they didn't answer the phone. Money stolen, Scam, Avoid.

pompadom was not crisp, it was verry rubbery. chips were cold and curry was phyically cold. NOT a good Experience.

Received someone else’s order, tried getting through and have not heard from anyone to get a refund back.

Order was late and when it arrived my vegetarian curry had chicken in it. When I phoned the restaurant the person who answered was incredibly rude and told me “it’s my own fault for ordering through the App and not phoning” before hanging up the phone.

Ordered 2 chicken tikka masalas one hot and one mild and was delivered 2 mild also paid extra for potatoes in curry in both currys and both arrived with mushrooms in the curry which was okay for one of us but the other doesn’t really like mushrooms which wasn’t ideal.

15 minutes late, chicken tikka starter was to say the least burnt and so dry, garlic nan was cardboard and couldn’t even eat it, bhuna was cold, redemption the garlic rice was ok….. not going to be another experience for me

Delivered cold, driver told me to warm it up. I don't spend 20 quid for takeaway to have to warm it up. Called restaurant they didn't really care said it was delivered before I had received it.

Food was delicious as always but a little late but that might be because we pre ordered. We also got prawn puri instead of butterfly prawn. Still loved the meal though!

Top Quality food , excellent flavours and generous amount of meat. Starting using this place 20 years ago and loved it . Moved away from the area 10 years ago until recently . Tried them again and delighted to find same owners and quality still top notch.

King prawns were sliced in half, and were barely bigger than standard prawns. I’ve just woken up after eating less than a quarter of the madras with the worst pain in my stomach. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Delicious food and so plentiful and tasty

Food was cooked quickly and ahead of time. Full of flavour and good sized portions.

* Wish the chips was not frozen * madras could be hotter

There were item’s forgotten due to it being delivered early I guess, it then took an hour and half to get the replacement with the correct items. Very poor customer service, but can’t fault the food.

Thete was hardly any lamb. Person i spoke to asked someone about it. Not knowledgable about biriani. Been ordering from them for long time. NEVER AGAIN

Poor experience, eta was 16:45-19:05 but turned up at 19:30 (wouldn’t let me select 25 minutes late), called the restaurant to be informed, ‘it’s left and on its way’. Food was also not hot, only warm, very disappointed with this experience.

Ordered late at night. Delivery quick but not what u ordered and was stone cold. Seems like they just gave me whatever was laying around/had left to use up. By time it got here the resteraunt was closed and didn't answer the phone. Chucked food in the bin.

Food arrived before time which was good. The chicken dansak was delicious. The garlic naan however was very dry hard to chew and swallow.

Prices misleading. Placed an order for £55 and hubby went to collect it. He was charged £65.30. When he told me, we phoned up only to be told that he hadn't updated the website and the correct prices were now on the leaflet in the bag with our order. When we mentioned that this was actually false advertising he said he was not prepared to do anything about it. He was rude and unhelpful - we will be reporting this to trading standards. Avoid and go elsewhere as the food was not that great either.

Absolutely amazing, family run , CAD and his boys are amazing very friendly and up for laugh. And SARG the chef is exceptional. Very nice food

Tandoori masala was far too sweet and had no spice.

The curry was far too salty, barely could eat it, the bread d King prawn looked big but 2/3 was breadcrumbs.would not order that again The garlic naam was nice and the tandoori chicken was not to bad

Missed part of the order- when I called I didn’t even get an apology. They delivered missing food but rest of the food was cold by then. The chicken was grissly and the chips were the worst I’ve ever eaten. Really disappointed and unimpressed
