I ordered a lamb biriyani, chicken tikka biriyani, prawn puri, channa masala and garlic naan. All dishes were delicious and not oily. Finally, I have found a good Indian, full of flavour and that isn't watered down or bland. The most authentic Indian I have found and definitely beats the restaurant- The Bombay, which won awards. It was ready on time too for collection. I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!

Great service and the food is of a very high standard. I would say the best I have had in Orpington or Sidcup. Staff are friendly. The price is a little higher than other local restaurants- but the quality of the food makes it so worthwhile. I usually have the King Prawn DhansK which is really lovely and the Dal Makhani, my partner orders a lamb dish and Gobi 65 which is a cauliflower street food dish. One takeaway usually gives us sufficient meals for the next day also.

Got together with friends twice in August and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu is different to a standard Indian restaurant with something for everyone. Particularly recommend the pan Asian specialties

Arranged catering for a lunch party through Ciit Kitchen last weekend. The team was quite professional throughout and the entire process was stress free. Te food was excellent and was delivered hot and promptly. Could easily;y recommend them for any home catering

£120 takeaway which was flavoursome and well cooked. Only disappointment was the King Prawn Mollie which unlike the other 6 mains was small. It consisted of only 3 king prawns which for a £12.50 main was a bit lightweight. Delivery was quicker than initial time estimate and ordering process was straightforward. The shashlik dishes were excellent and just a little bit different from the usual offerings from other restaurants and the Railway lamb on the bone dish was superb. Will order again but perhaps the proprietors will be a little more generous when it comes to the prawn dishes.

I must say one of the best curry houses in Bromley. Food is very authentic if you're looking for a true curry. You must try this place. You will not be disappointed. Dishes are highly flavoured and spiced nicely

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was especially the dal makhni and dahi kadi pakora which was a delicious treat for a vegetarian like myself.the prices were good compared to other Indian restaurants , the amazing atmosphere and ambiance more than made up for it. I would highly recommend visiting in the evening, If you're looking for a memorable culinary with great ambiance, this is definitely the place to be!

Orpington brunch: The waiter wasn’t bothered at all about us being here. We got starters first then had to ask for our drinks again which were served after all our starters were finished. We waited ages for the waiter to come and take our order for mains to the point we had to actually ask him to serve us. He seemed too busy on his own phone as he had headphones in or with the deliveries despite us being the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The food was nice! Slightly disappointed as the reviews are so good.

Been looking all over London for a good chicken lollipop - this place did not disappoint! So glad I found it, would totally recommend.

The chef is absolutely attentive, caring to the requirements and the food since I have ordered it for over a year has been consistent.. not a single miss anywhere. Honestly one of the NICEST Indian takeaways Ive ever had. Delicious. Moved into the area in July and I refuse to get Indian anywhere else. Try their: Lamb biryani Vindaloo ( lamb) And (shockingly ) schezwan noodles (chicken). Thank me later.

Our favourite curry takeaway (we've used them for nearly 8 years) has been going downhill so we've been trying to find a new one for a while but we hadn't had much luck. Until last night. We ordered from Orpington Citi Kitchen (which is actually much closer to our house anyway) and everything was outstanding. Indian takeaway used to be our absolute favourite treat and having lost our usual one we've been really disappointed, so I was so excited by the meal last night that I phoned the restaurant like a mad woman to thank them! We had extended family round who prefer milder dishes and they were a little disappointed with the paneer tikka masala which was a more authentic masala than the bright red sweet dishes we're used to, but my husband and I thought it was delicious. The tarka dal was so full of flavour and the level of spice in everything was great. Even the chicken tikka masala (red and sweet, so the extended family shared that), something I usually don't go for, was really tasty - not just sweet, but you could taste the coconut. The king prawn puree was banging too.

Ordered an amazing meal from the new Petts Wood take away last week . However , having only opened a few weeks ago it’s now closed due to kitchen maintenance. Phoned the other restaurant in coppendene and tried twice no answer . Not a great start .

My takeaway was very fast, so fast that the Bombay Aloo, was under cooked, the Onion Bhaji was undercooked and the Naan bread was shown a photo of the oven. The tikka Marsala was excellent, but £26.95, for one edible dish and two popadoms, was a bit steep. No return customer here

Once again ordered food from here. Always great food and service! Today's dishes were Szechuan Chicken and Noodles and Szechuan Vegetable Rice. Delivery promised in 40 minutes (always wrong 🤭). Great beer and friendly service I recently visited Citi Kitchen and was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary beer with my takeaway. The beer and food were delicious. In addition to the beer, I was impressed with the friendly service from the staff. As for the food, it was also quite good. I would definitely order it again. Overall, I had a great experience at Citi kitchen and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal with good beer and friendly service.

Sharing this with all, we ordered food for my daughter's birthday party (bulk order), point 1 - Mr Manish was so kind to guide us in terms of how much to order, what combination would work etc.; point 2. he asked us about the timing of the party and literally timed his cooking to match the party time; point 3. food was piping hot; point 4. taste was just excellent; point 5. everyone at the party just loved the food - So thank you so much Orpington Citi Kitchen and Mr. Manish for making the evening great.

Orpington Citi catered for our New year event- starters were Indian, mains were indo Chinese and awesome gulab Jamuna/gajar kalwa. I can comfortably say, veg/n veg, old and young, everyone loved the food.

Awesome taste of Indian cuisine,never felt this taste in any restaurant I have been . If you need something spicy then this is the place 🙂. Both Vegetarian and Non vegetarian options are available to explore

Food and service are lovely and they do lovely kulfi if you are a dessert lover!

Overall good food but restaurant experience was poor. Waiter didn't bother to smile😊, they have 10% service charges, which isn't optional, especially when you are paying by card. I asked for medium spiced schzewan rice it didn't have any flavour of schzewan. I have been ordering take aways from them and generally their food is good (towards authentic flavours) . I will recommend take away for sure but will be wary of restaurant experience.

As a heads up there is no alcohol licence and it’s a cash only deal, but don’t let that be a deal breaker the food is simply amazing!

Ordered chicken Tika for wife, No salad as generally you get anywhere else. Ordered chicken Jalfrazze , No green chilli’s as you would expect from a Jalfrazze. Don’t like taking credit card or visa. And delivery will cost you an extra £3.00. It didn’t stand up to the reviews shown on Trip Adviser. Very poor.

Orpington Citi kitchen is one of the few places that makes authentic Indian food. They have a great menu, food is fantastic and people who work there are extremely courteous. Will definitely recommend!

Just had another meal from Citi. Lamb biryani, fish koliwada & spicy rice! Phoned the order for delivery and had a suggested 40 minutes to wait... Came in really quickly! So hot and fresh, as always, the food was truly tasty and nicely spicy! We're always very impressed with this restaurant! Well worth a visit or phone call.

We have now twice used Orpington Citi Kitchen’s services for hosting large parties. Both times it was for about 30 people. The starters, main courses and desserts were all excellent and the food was delivered on time and with care. All our guests really liked the food. I would highly recommend Orpington Citi Kitchen. Well done!

The audacity to charge a portion of Dal Makhani @ £9.50, and the chilli chicken and other chicken items in the Pan asian menu to be lower than a Dal is unbelievable. I can understand the inflation, but this is really taking customers for granted, as they believe they are the only one to do Indo Chinese. C'mon its dal at the end of the day. Indian Essence in Petts Wood serves the same Dal Makhani @ £5.95, being a Michellin Bib restaurant Food for thought guys. Not recommended at all.

Absolutely amazing food. And one of the few places that offer authentic Indo Chinese. Highly recommend schezwan noodles, chilli chicken, and fried rice. Very clean and service was great too.

Mani Singh and his team catered for an evening party of 45 guests in our garden. Mani carefully planned menu with us and arranged for a chef to cook starters on site. Fresh tikka and naans were cooked in our tandoor. A real scene stealer! Dishes prepared in the restaurant were delivered fresh, in chaffing dishes. He provided everything he needed in a very professional manner. All in all the food was delicious and authentic and our guests, both Indian and English are still raving about it. Thank you Orpington Citi Kitchen.

Orpington citi kitchen is simply the best! The food, the service, the catering its all absolutely super. We have been ordering from the chef and doing all our catering from him for many years now and never once have they disappointed. At my recent party for 40 guests, the guests have raved about the food non stop the whole evening. If you want authentic flavours of India, order from here.

Absolutely amazing food. Strongly suggest trying, especially the gobi 65 and the Kadhai ghosht a wonderful lamb dish.

Highly recommend this place - This is an amazing restaurant for Indian food and we have been here multiple times and have been never disappointed. We really love the Indo Chinese here and the hospitality and the service in the restaurant is very good. We also had a party catering order done from here and all the guests simply loved the food. The chef needs a special mention as he ensured that the party order was well delivered and was available for discuss and adjust as per requirements.

I wanted to try this place as it was rated #2 Indian in Orpington. Went on a Saturday night with my wife for a spur of the moment date night. King prawn purée for starter, £6 on the menu but they charge your £8 on the bill. Mushroom Bharji £5.50 online and £6.50 on the bill and the Garlic Nans were £1 each more than started online. Overall I over paid by £5, don’t sound a lot but on a meal that taste that bad it’s was the final straw. The actual food: I ordered popadoms to start, tasted like old oil, mint sauce has no flavour and mango chutney is somehow bitter. Everything Tasted tomatoey as I can only assume their using a cheap tomato purée. The bitterness overpowered the flavour in the Purée, mushroom Bhaji and the chicken Jalfrezi. I should have guessed when I walked in the restaurant and it was empty apart from one other unlucky couple. The waiter did ask when presenting the bill if everything was ok and I gave him my honest opinion, discreetly I did tell him what I thought and he apologises and said he would speak to the chef and remove some items from my bill. He didn’t charge me for the £2 coke but then over charged me by £5. Will never go back.

From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, my Orpington Citi Kitchen meal might have been the best meal I have ever been served. I have been using this place for 2-3 years now!!we recently moved to Portsmouth but when I’m in the area I have to pop in and get there Lovly food always very pleasant staff a polite young gentleman and the serving desk nice and hot tasty would highly recommend the spicy lamb chops 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

My first visit to this restaurant gave it top marks but more recent visits have disappointed me somewhat. My penultimate meal of King Prawn Tikka Masala contained 3 out of 4 mushy soft prawns which I did not eat. I didnt mention it that night but told a member of staff when I next ordered a meal for collection. When I collected me meal I again mentioned the prawns to the apparent boss and he looked at me with bewilderment and it was obvious he was not made aware of the problem. I had mentioned to the order taker to make sure my prawns were fresh this time and that a couple of extra prawns would be appreciated. He told me "Our prawns are always fresh" so I am obviously a liar in his opinion. My disappointment turned out to be two fold. 1) No extra prawns and 2) one more mushy soft prawn. I do love their sauce so I may buy chicken Tikka Masala in future (Until I find a replacement restaurant to buy from) and buy my own fresh prawns to cook and add from Marks and Spenser's. It is a shame though that the service and bad prawns has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Brings back great memories of Madras (Chennai) with their great hakka style chinese (chicken lollipops particularly and Szechuan rice) and of course the classic chicken 65. Authentic, tasty and spicy in a good way.

Like others I went here on the basis of the high rating from tripadvisor but really wasn’t impressed. Plus they only want to take cash and don’t like taking cards give me real doubts about the place.Quality of food was nothing special - in fact some things like the naan were poor. There’s plenty of other restaurants more deserving of the higher reviews than this and there’s a better Indian on the corner nearby which I have also reviewed.

Drove a fair way for this restaurant on strength of the reviews. The food was good but unfortunately unlikely to go back as they refused to make my son's favourite dish of chicken tikka bhuna. Given how standard this is and yes they have chicken tikka and bhuna on the menu it didn't seem too demanding an ask

This is not our nearest Indian restaurant, but we drove to it for take-away because of the good reviews on here.The food was OK, but much too hot: lacking in any subtlety. I had the biryani, which is usually a relatively mild dish, but I couldn't taste much except for chilli. My partner had one of the chicken specials, and had the same reaction.
