Fabrizio served us the best pasta we tried in London. What a lovely team they have. For a second I forgot I was in the grey London thank to them!!

Awesome authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Kensington, hard to find places like this. Fabrizio has been an amazing host, extremely kind and suggested us great options from the menu. The highlight were the truffle cacio and pepe, and the Mazara del Vallo shrimmps Fettuccine. We ll be surely back.

3 of us went for lunch, about 3pm on a Saturday. Food was excellent with rich ragus, and a beautiful cod pasta dish. Excellent service. Can't fault

Great atmosphere, great food perfect every time

Delicious meal with great service. Our waiter was Nikon who was so great and very attentive. The food was so tasty - we had a pinsa to start and then spaghetti and bucatini for mains. The pasta was very well cooked, al dente and served quickly. The music is also a nice addition to the restaurant. Great for date night or celebrations

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Osteria Romana in London! The food was exceptional – truly authentic Italian cuisine with a unique twist that comes from their family recipes. You can tell there’s a lot of passion and tradition behind every dish, making it unlike anything else we’ve ever tasted. A huge thank you to our waiter, Domenico (apologies if I got the name wrong!) – his warmth, professionalism, and genuine Italian charm made the evening even more special. His recommendations were spot on and his attention to detail was incredible. If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic Italian food with a personal touch, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back. Bravo to the whole team!

The rasturent was an absolute shock for me

I ordered the Rigatoni Gricia, took one bite, and immediately felt like Poseidon himself had seasoned it for me. It wasn’t pasta; it was a culinary crime scene drenched in enough salt to preserve a woolly mammoth. Trying to keep it classy, I waited until the end of the meal to discreetly tell the waiter it wasn’t for me—calmly, directly—and mentioned it was inedible. Not a peep from anyone during the meal, mind you. They didn’t check on us after the mains were dropped off like plates of shame. When I asked for the dish to be taken off the bill, I thought that was it—case closed, lesson learned. But no. That’s when he arrived. The manager. A man who strode over like he’d just been knighted by the Pope of Pasta himself. He puffed up his chest, declared, ‘I am Italian, and this is how it’s supposed to taste.’ Oh really? Salt-flavored regret is authentic cuisine now? I guess I missed that episode of Chef’s Table. When I suggested he taste it, he flat-out refused, as though the mere idea of accountability was beneath him. And then—then!—he proceeded to argue with me in front of my entire party like a man possessed by the ghost of over-seasoned dinners past. Imagine Gordon Ramsay on a bad day, but with none of the charm and all of the condescension. So there I sat, gobsmacked, as this wannabe pasta prophet tried to gaslight me into thinking this dish wasn’t an edible disaster. Long story short, it’s just another ‘Italian’ restaurant in London getting by on glowing reviews from people who apparently think gourmet cuisine and a packet of salty crisps are interchangeable.

On holiday for the weekend in London I happened to pass by Osteria Romana, in a super cute little alleyway near Harrods. Really excellent food, carbonara and amatriciana top marks. Precise and fast service. Very kind, tidy and welcoming waiters. Only negative note? seeing two foreign tourists at the next table advance a cacio e pepe with truffle!!! two crazy people

This is a perfect hole-in-the-wall restaurant tucked away in a small alleyway--a hidden gem that serves some of the best pasta I've ever had.

Less than expected, place is too small and nothing so special about the food in general, the taramissu is nice

Located so that one can see the whole Tallinn bay, this restaurant offers 5 star food and service. Snack platter for two - amazing. Octopus with risotto - just like in Italy. Service - adorable. Views from the terrace in a sunny evening - unbeatable. Recommended.

A boutique restaurant between Knightsbridge and Hyde Park, an excellent taste of Italian cuisine with a warm welcome. The perfect combination of mixed salad, Cacio e Pepe, Pinsa Artichokes, tiramisu and surely spiritz. Also, I’d like to thank personally Mr. Tanuka for his outstanding service and helping me to create an unforgettable experience after my proposal to my fiancé :)

The restaurant is quaint, and all the staff was warm and inviting as well as knowledgeable about their menu. There was a sizeable Italian wine selection that David was also knowledgeable about.

Piccolo locale Italiano in zona Hyde Park dove tutto richiama la romanità, dalla convivialità alla maestria nella cucina. Le paste ,carbonara, cacio e pepe , e cacio e pepe al tartufo sono fantastiche al pari del tiramisù finale. Una tappa obbligatoria per chi vuole mangiare italiano a Londra.

il locale si trova in zona del centro davanti al bulgari hotel. il locale è piccolo ma molto attrezzato, il personale è principalmente italiano e anche i piatti. personale gentile e accogliente, e il cibo è stato favoloso.

Anyone who travels a lot in Italy will quickly notice the difference. I had the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe without truffles. They were way too fattening! That's not how you eat in Italy. Personally, I would not recommend this restaurant to people who expect something more from a culinary perspective. The Pinsa was also fattening, but I can't remember exactly which one we ordered.

This was a lovely meal. It’s a very popular spot so reservations are a must (though a handful of walk ins appear possible). The service was warm and professional (special mention for Fabrizio and the maitre d). Food was amazing, the whole thing reminded us of the neighbourhood restaurants we visited in Rome.

If you go there, you absolutely have to try the Coda alla Vaccinara… it’s pure paradise! The flavors are incredible, and it’s a dish that will leave you dreaming about your next visit.

I would give praise but you can't! But Damiano and David know that they are truly superlative! Top service! Wine, we had two glasses of red each, superb! Carbonara and saltimbocca to be the envy of Rome. Congratulations guys! Super recommended as a local!

Klein in oppervlakte maar super in kwaliteit, bediening en klantvriendelijkheid. Typische Italiaanse gerechtjes gegeten waarin de verse zuiderse smaken ons een voldaan gevoel hebben gegeven. Als afsluiter een Limoncello door het huis aangeboden, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Very bad service, we got an expensive red wine which was hot, when he served he filled the glass up to the top and made the dishes messy and if we didn't make a remark so that he would change our plate he wouldn't even get a message, miserable staff unsmiling and inhospitable! We got Pinza for starter which was a pizza and very small! Undercooked and below average. Mainly carbonara and Cacio e Pepe dishes very salty and thick texture! And of course very expensive for what it offers!

We were looking for a nice little Italian restaurant while in London. We did a little searching and stumbled on @OsteriaRomana. We made reservations in hopes it would be worth it. Well, it was. The atmosphere has a cozy Italian feel. The service we experienced was fantastic. We had David from Roma. We were undecided on a few items, because they all made my tastebuds come to life with anticipation. David made some recommendations and they were spot on. The gnocchi was delicious. We’ve never had old Roman style. But I will try to figure out how to make that! We had Oxtail and lamb chops. Both dishes were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place. But you have to make those reservations in order to enjoy the delicious food!

We booked at Osteria for a date night the Saturday before Christmas. The gnocchi starter was amazing and came as a recommendation from David who is from Rome. The pasta starter with pork cheek was authentic and delicious, also at his recommendation. My husband had the Oxtail for his main, and I had the lamb chops. I would 100% recommend and will bring my family when they come to visit in the summer. The restaurant is quaint, and all the staff was warm and inviting as well as knowledgeable about their menu. There was a sizeable Italian wine selection that David was also knowledgeable about. Thank you, David, for a wonderful experience.
