Paloma in Bromley

I visited Paloma for lunch and ordered from their lunch menu. The portions were big comparing it was from the lunch menu. The mussels were incredible I could get enough of them and the chorizo was great as well. For main we tried the grilled salmon and chicken fajita which they were both amazingly flavoured. Decoration was nice and friendly staff. This place is the best in the area. Definitely will be back.

Let me start by saying that it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles, an inviting ambiance, and the vibes were spot on for a Latin American restaurant. Even the traditional music in the background, brilliant. First time coming & it definitely wouldn’t be my last. Sure I’ll be back within the week! Shoutout to the manager & the chef. Get the Paloma Special if you go & the garlic butter sauce.

Was looked at like we don’t have money, the lamb shank was covered in gravy. Meat was not seasoned at all, very bland.

Christmas lunch! And, my word, was it good !!!!! From the 'welcome drink' - a passion fruit and Martini concoction made by somebody who really knows what they are doing- to the Scallops, vastly superior to a starter on offer down the road, followed by Cod (my choice) with clams and pearl barley , finishing with a very good home-made cheesecake. Decent wines are available by the glass or bottle ( you can take unfinished bottles away !!) and the service is hugely welcoming. This was a wonderful way to spend Christmas Day but I should add that we've been 4 times before and have every intention of going again.

I Have been here multiple times with my fiance and each time I've had the best experience, the bartenders have been attentive and friendly, and their cocktails were delicious. The waiters were always very accommodating and friendly and the food served has been some of the best we've tasted in South London, we will be back! :)

It is such a beautiful restaurant that serves gorgeous food and such friendly service. It's a very chilled, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be coming again

They was extremley racist on my birthday a group of black woman. It was a horrible expeience, I was looked at i I had no money and asked by the waiters if i was pregnant unprovoked I left sraight after this comment was made

Found this place on the off chance today. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely beautiful (compliments to the chef). The food was fresh and seasoned well. I had the Hawaiian chicken starter and then pan fried seabass - beautiful. I would definitely go again. We parked in one of the surrounding roads. Planning my next trip already. Thank you

My first steak was over, but they took it back and replaced it with perfect food. Excellent food all round and brilliant service. Keep it up, see you soon.

Me and my son have just been here about an hour ago and in my words this place is fantastic the short ribs is so tender with a bourbon de taste and the bartender what we had was so nice when talking to my son and if you’re child wants an nonalcoholic cocktail just ask and they will tell you the flavour as it’s not currently available on the drink menu as I said the atmosphere is fantastic and so relaxing romantic for a date night or a family night outside or inside

Lovely place, quite catered for "bouje" Beckenham bit overpriced for drinks and food but OK.... would maybe go back for the cheaper set menu for more value for money Toilets were blocked and looked more "taxi disco" than upmarket restaurant Very friendly staff but again overpriced for food and drinks Cocktails were poor aswell very small

We had padron peppers, bruschetta for starters. Short rib and chicken milanese for mains. Wine and cocktail with the meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was great, my favourite restaurant in Beckenham.

...Before you say anything, I have no photos to post. Everything got eaten once it arrived as four friends and I dined out yesterday at Paloma. This was my first time at the restaurant, and to cut a long story short I guess I'll be going back there. We were served very generous portions of well prepared and reasonably priced food, my virgin mojito was supremely on point, and I'm told that the cocktails weren't shabby either 😆! Paloma has a really relaxing ambiance, and our hours spent grazing the menu were testimony to that. We felt so relaxed that our server expressed a desire to join us for what she thought was a special occasion...there wasn't one. We just slipped into the mood that was Paloma and ate ourselves happy. I have to add that the staff were really attentive - and yet 'invisible' in a very good way. The scallop starter and the sushi fish main were standout dishes for us, as were the ribs on the mains section. We had no room for dessert: be warned, the dishes are filling. You need plenty of room to take on three courses. All in all, we had a great experience at Paloma. We'll see you shortly! Thank you for the shots!

This is my regular spot at least once a month . All food is consistently beautiful. And staff are very attentive. The bar man with locs makes bespoke cocktails and introduced new drinks to us as well. Staff are genuinely happy and remember you.

I met some old friends here from University days as one of them lives locally. She recommended a few places but this one stood out as it’s a Caribbean/Latin influence menu. The restaurant looks gorgeous with lots of real wood and muted lighting. The seating was close to the front window and as it was a mild summers day, we had a lovely breeze coming in. The tables and seats were spacious and comfortable but intimate too. The service when we arrived was great. They were professional and patient. We ordered drinks and they were very good. I ordered ceviche and soft shell crab burger with a side of sweet potato fries. One of my friends ordered scallops and duck while the other ordered bruschetta and beef rib. All the dishes were beautiful to look at and tasty: they all had Latin twists and a nice level of spices and citrus. My favourites were the ceviche and the scallops. A modest bill and some brilliant service from our waiter meant we left full and happy.

Wow, what a day. We love Paloma Beckenham and have been there many many times. We normally choose the set lunchtime menu, normally between 4 to 6 of us and have always been offered a drink on the house. My Father inlaw went yesterday with friends, 5 of them. The Bill came to £240, they were offered a drink on the house. We went back today 6 of us as a Birthday treat for me. Don't know what the Bill came to but we had 2 bottles of wine, probably £38 a bottle. Nice meal, however the waiter offered me a small cake for my Birthday, I said no its OK but could I have another glass of wine, he said no ! I could have a brandy, baileys etc. We have always been able to have a glass of wine in the past and couldn't understand what the problem was. He did apologise and said he couldn't do it. Then the manager ?came over and started talking about profit margins etc ! We left on very bad terms, my Father inlaw had spent the best part of £480 in two days in this restaurant. Never a problem before. Sorry won't be going back, will go to the Q bar.

Went for a final, pre-wedding date with my fiancée and Paloma was the perfect venue. Food was delicious, cocktails were nice and the waitress asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and comped our dessert plus offered a round of drinks on the house to mark the occasion. Unexpected but appreciated dearly! Exceptional service! Will definitely be going returning post-wedding! :)

Went for our wedding anniversary, the waitress asked if we were celebrating something special and we received 2 glasses of champagne on the house. Beautiful attention from Paloma. Excellent customer service and the food is up to expectations. The atmosphere is relaxing yet glamorous. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Officially my favorite restaurant. I saw this place many times and I was curious to try. I went there with my family who came over from Spain and they loved it as well. The staff are really attentive and professional and the food was delicious. We had bread, oysters ,octopus and ceviche as starters. The bread was simple we didn’t see the variety but the oysters and the octopus were perfect. The ceviche was good as well. I tried different type of ceviche which I prefer but this one didn’t disappoint me. The Seafood linguine was amazing, very tasty and good portion. Sirloin steak really good and well cook. The Sausage platter with the chimichurri sausage was incredible. Really good presentation and beautiful place. We really enjoyed the dinner. Definitely we’ll come back soon.

Had an amazing time by myself. Was treated like a princess by the staff. They were welcoming and chatty. The food was very good, especially the creme bruleè. The music and decor alongside the atmosphere and beaming sun made me feel like I was on holiday. They gave clean napkins and cutlery with every dish and also cleaned the table too. A great local restaurant! I will definitely visit again to try the other dishes on the menu, but next time I will take some company to enjoy it too 😊

Really like this place. It’s not the quickest but the service is attentive , food decent and priced ok.

A pleasant experience at Paloma, with satisfying portion sizes for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the mocktails and the meal. Atmosphere was peaceful and interior was nice for a catch up with friends or a date night. As it was a Monday it was quiet which was also enjoyable. I did feel as though we were being rushed slightly, perhaps our waitress was just being overzealous but she was very calm and polite.

We ate here for the first time for my husbands birthday meal. Approached by friendly welcoming staff. Atmosphere was really nice and relaxing, we went on a Wednesday evening so cannot say what it’s like on the weekend. All staff were professional and attentive at all times, we were very happy with the waitresses looking after our table, we really enjoyed our time here. Food was delicious, only negative I would say was one of the lamb cutlets was a little too raw, we should have told them at ordering that we prefer it well cooked. We will definitely be back again!

Tried booking again for a Sunday roast but have been informed the disabled toilet is now a store room!!!! So no toilet facilities for anyone needing an accessible toilet. Such a shame as my Mum who has cancer wanted to have a mini celebration with friends which she can't have now. Really enjoyed the lunch time menu. Food was excellent and atmosphere nice and relaxed Didn't like the optional tip being added to the bill and paid it as felt pressured too. Would happily have left a tip just don't enjoy being told what to tip. Sadly the accessible toilet was inaccessible due to being used as an extra store room. Wasn't told this till after our meal and toilet was needed! 50% knocked off our bill but this went on dry cleaning bill for 'The accident' due to no usable accessible loo!!!

Came to Paloma to try their Sunday roast. Really nice restaurant from outside to inside. Love that they have a red carpet outside and the restaurant has Really nice decor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, I was dining on my own and the staff made me feel very comfortable. They do a Sunday deal where you can get a Sunday roast for £15. I went for the lamb roast, everything was really nice, I liked the vegetables they had especially the cho cho, very nice touch. The only down fall was the lamb could have been cooked a bit more, it was very chewy and fatty in the middle. The house wine was really good. I would definitely go back to try something else on their menu. Nice environment and atmosphere, the restaurant is really big with lots of seating, and they also have a outdoor seating area where you can sit and eat and enjoy. One of the best restaurants in Beckenham, would definitely recommend.

Average food and service. We went on a quiet Sunday eve a couple of weeks. The service was very slow, even though it wasn't busy. We counted 6 up front wait staff, even so we had to wait 20 mins plus for our first drink. We waited ages for each course after that. The food was average, including a tastless, fatty steak. However, they did make a lovely cocktail and even though about 5 different people served us, they were all friendly. Wouldn't return unfortunately.

The manager was rude the staff are miserable- I waited 20 minutes for a cocktail- the food was ok- I won't be coming here again for the prices the service should have been excellent

My favourite bar/restaurant in Beckenham. Stylish interior, friendly staff and great outside seating too for the sunnier days too. The margaritas are always a delight. Food is good across the whole range. Empanadas are always a good way to start.

Has caused severe food poisoning to both of us. Absolute disgrace

A nice but fairly expensive restaurant (just over £300 for 4 people) in Beckenham. Food 3* I would have given 4 stars for food, but the dessert - a chocolate fondant with ice cream - wasn't very nice with a very powdery liquid centre, only partly eaten due to that, and the latte came up definitely not as a latte with little milk and no foam at all (likewise, only partly drunk). Service 3* service was slow, we had to wait 10-15 minutes each time we ordered drinks which I always find strange as more sales & profit would be made if more drinks were sold. Atmosphere 4* a nice vibrant atmosphere. Summary: an expensive but good restaurant just let down by a couple of points, I would have liked to have given it 4 stars but for the reasons above it comes to 3 stars in my opinion.

I saw in other table the good interaction from customers 2 old ladies and a waiter who recognize them from another day. It creates a warm and friendly environment. The toilets very clean. I would highly recommend and will come back.

Amazing experience! We visited for an impromptu date and were so impressed. The cocktails were spectacular, food delicious, and the staff made us feel so welcome. I must say I’ve been coming to Paloma from the onset since it opened and the standards have dropped so much so that this is my last visit the management also failed to understand the unsatisfactory food that was served , the short Ribs was dry and chewy I had to drink water to bring it down got to the point I had to leave half on the plate , the octopus starter was minature in size for the price there’s no consistency it’s hit or miss with this place, the atmosphere is ok … but disappointed in the food … the manager will always have an excuse in he’s response to customers quarries be warned ..

Food is always lovely & delicious and great portions. We always come out bursting. Great with families and my very active 1 year old. Staff are all welcoming and friendly, we love the decor and my 7 yr olds first choice whenever we go out to eat.

We have had a great experience at Paloma, having a delicious lunch on a quiet Monday. We have ordered a vanilla sky cocktail, chicken and ham croquettes, empanada as starter, then short ribs and rib-eye steak. Definitely enjoyed everything we have ordered and presentation was beautiful too. The waiter was smiley and professional, definitely with a high quality service! If I can say anything I missed, was the latin music, although the playlist was fine, but I was expecting some latin music in a latin restaurant. (Which they might have in the night, who knows.) Overall, a great experience (no regrets) and I would definitely recommend it.

On Valentine's Day, my partner treated me to a delightful experience at this establishment. The ambiance, both indoors and outdoors, was enchanting. The cuisine not only impressed with its taste but also its exquisite presentation. The cocktails perfectly matched my preference for sweetness with a punch of strength. Our waiter Pedro was exceptionally attentive, personable, and provided invaluable assistance throughout our meal. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary shot before concluding our visit. Without a doubt, we would revisit this venue for future celebrations, be it a birthday or any other occasion.

Was there last night.Love this place, staff are excellent especially the waiter who was serving us . The lights are a bit low so I could not read the menu properly that was the only downside. But food top rated and will be back as one of my favourite places.

Food was good, but i felt like maybe either they dont get very busy or they dont get large bookings. I was recently here for my sister's birthday (about 15 of us) and throughout the whole experience the manager and staff members kept hovering around our table, at 1 point literally standing behind my nephew while he ate, this was so uncomfortable it ruined the whole experience. The message i got from this was they thought we wasn't going to pay our bill so instead thought they would just continue to bother us every 5 minutes while we were eating and drinking. Once we had finished and paid we couldn't see anybody for dust! The manager completely disappeared lol. Based on this i will not be returning back to this restaurant. I will say the food was ok, portions were ok, cocktails ok and prices ok.

HORRIBLE MANAGER!!! We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were waiting around 30-40 min for the food, but we thought it was company policy to make us order more drinks ( only few tables were taken and everyone or had their food already or was about to order). My husband was approached by the member of staff and we were advised to leave the restaurant because we were there for 2 hours. As soon as I found about this I requested to talk to manager . He was the person who approached my husband before. I asked him to come to our table and talk to us. After 10 min of wait he came and started blaming us, the staff and being pretty rude. We did not want any freebies from him. I explained that it was my husband birthday and we wanted to have nice time, have some drinks, good food and then the cake. He said that it is weekend and we can be there only two hours. But did not care that we waited for the food 40 min. I said we were not told that the max stay there is 2h and it is not our first time there and this never happed. He was so rude that we just asked him for the bill. After 10 min wait the waiter came with the bill discounting service. We told her that we do not want to pay less just wanted to have nice time. There were at least 4-5 tables free so we were not occupying space. Never ever again will we come back there. In stead of having nice time we felt frustrated and humiliated by a person that was coward enough that sent waitress to ‘close the deal’. Horrible MANAGER!!!

Paloma has the beat desserts in the whole of Beckenham. I have never been disappointed and always want to go back for more. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience.

Lovely eatery with extremely good service looking after our group table. Service in between courses was a little but slow but this must have been because the restaurant was fully booked and buzzing! The food portions were a tad smaller than expected but they tasted glorious! Would definitely recommend and looking forward to a return for more very soon!

The staff in Poloma was amazing the setting is chilled but cosy the place is bigger than you think its stunning. Nice place for couple friends and family they cater at everyone . I had the desserts it never dissapoints. The staff is all friendly an they go beyond and above to make sure everyone is happy . 😊 definitely a place to visit on a regular basis

Overall ok but unfortunately both my starter and main meal was served cold. The waiter was very accommodating however when your starter is scallops and your main meal is duck; pink (as it should be) to be offered for it to be warmed up was not a good idea. I ate the starter; cold. For the duck; main I didn’t want to make a fuss to get the whole thing re-cooked so I just said warm it up a little bit please then of course (as the duck should’ve been pink) it came back over cooked and I could barely cut into it. Paloma did take a little bit off of my mains and brought us some drinks but I didn’t need more alcohol. I just wanted to have my food hot and not tasting cold. Such a shame. It was a Monday night, not that packed, so not really an excuse… There were 6 of us who paid a lot of money, not great…

This is the second time I’ve been to Paloma both times I had a really positive and rare experience. First of all the staff and the management is super attentive friendly and polite. The food is also quality. My best friend celebrated her birthday on Saturday however we didn’t book and just walked in. The restaurant was almost full but the manager still find a table for us which I appreciate specially on a Saturday night. I can only recommend this place ;)
