Consistently brilliant taste and great value. A favourite of mine for years.

Such a good meal at this place, everything was home made on the spot by a group of cooks you could see from your table. The food was really amazing and flavorful. Restaurant does not take cards but you can pay cash or transfer money to their account.

No frills, hole in the wall type place but with fantastic food and friendly service. Everything was great but the Szechuan chicken wings were spectacular, can’t wait to come again!

Panda is one of the best dim sum places outside of the center of town. Delicious dumplings and it's BYOB so really affordable! We ordered about 3 lots of dumplings, aubergine in garlic, and the Dan Dan noodles (which were the stand out dish) and were stuffed!

Good food, good service, good value for money. No-frills place. Watch them preparing the dim sum freshly in their kitchen, using fresh dough and self-made fillings. Much better than the frozen stuff that they merely warm up elsewhere.

The only place for authentic Chinese food here in the East and recommend all dumplings which are freshly made by chefs.

Great for a quick dim sum snack. They do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own. The dim sum is very good, that's all we have when we visit Panda. Panda is cash only so do make sure you get some cash before you come to Leytonstone high Street as the majority of the cash points there has no cash. The Sainsbury's local or the post office cash point on Church Lane have the nearest working cash machine.

Good dim sum but the menu is very limited. Good to visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

The food okay if you are not vegetarian because there's not much choice for vegetarians. We asked for stir fried vegetables but it was mainly Chinese cabbage and less of other vegetables. Disappointed.

Some of the best food we have eaten in a while, special dumplings and salt & pepper prawns were a winner (along with everything else) ! Customer service was faultless. Can’t wait to go back

Granted, I ordered takeaway so this review may not be a reflection of the establishment in its entirety. 1. Dim sum was great, we ordered the Shanghai buns and beef dumplings both were pleasing to the pallet. At least 4/5 for a London establishment. However, the noodles were completely bland and dry, both the DanDan noodles and the chicken noodles, the chicken had zero flavour and was as dry as the Sahara. The sauce on the pork of the Dan Dan noodles was basic. Moreover, the fish was clearly frozen and of low quality (£18+), the sauce was bland, watery and the only reminisce of Sichuan flavour in the sauce was the Sichuan peppercorn. It was utterly disappointing. 2. Staff were nice and friendly.

Wir sind hier gelandet, weil unser ursprüngliches Ziel vollkommen ausgebucht war. Hier haben wir noch zwischen zwei Reservierungen n freien Tisch bekommen. Hätte ich die Bewertung direkt nach unserem Besuch gemacht, so wäre wahrscheinlich ein Sternchen mehr bei herausgekommen. Wir waren hungrig von unserer Anreise nach London und froh endlich etwas zu Essen zu bekommen. Die Speisen waren lecker. Aber keine Geschmacksexplosion. Es fehlte halt ... das gewisse etwas. Die Speisen waren keineswegs schlecht, aber es hat nicht geschafft zu begeistern. An den anderen Tischen sah das aber durchaus anders aus, und evtl war unsere Wahl auch einfach unglücklich. Ich würde dem Restaurant aber durchaus eine zweite Chance geben.

Lovely fresh, authentic home style dim sum at keen prices in a café setting. Sichuan chicken also excellent. No cards, but they will take a bank transfer, which is obliging.

Dim sum here is so good and brilliant value! Also BYOB which is always a great bonus

Best Chinese food in London! The double cooked Aubergine is amazing.

Food is to die for: fresh, tasty and delicious combinations, all being relativly cheap. Owner is also very kind. I can not recommend this spot enough.

One of the freshest dim sums that I’ve had in London - you can tell that these were handmade dumplings (the pan fried dumplings were my favorite, especially the fish and chive ones). Cash only so make sure you’ve got some! Restaurant was well maintained and clean. Spent around £40 - around 6-7 dim sum dishes. Would highly recommend!

Recently came back from holiday in China, and Panda’s dim sum is very authentic. Really good dim sum, will definitely be coming back!

Dim sum is absolutely excellent. Lucky to have this on the doorstep. Decent portion sizes. BYOB. However it's cash or bank transfer only so factor into your plans.

Our 1st meal (takeaway). No delivery & watch out for out of date menus on line. Food very good, different and a world away from normal english/chinese. A little pricy. Will book table and eat in next time for just cooked freshness.

My favourite restaurant!! The food is amazing, I recommend the pork cha sui buns and the wonton soup. The prices are reasonable especially considering how yummy the food is. The staff are very friendly and kind. Also the place is close to the train station so easy to travel to. Remember to bring cash if you are going here. :)

Panda is great, the dim sum is lovey and so are the other dishes, you will always be welcomed warmly and even if you haven’t booked they will try and fit you in the best they can. All the dim sum and bun options are great and you can’t go wrong, good vegi options also. The Chinese broccoli with garlic is great and the double cooked pork. The staff here are lovey and always happy to help and always have a smile. It’s BYOB bring your own booze, which is great (lots of shops around to grab a bottle etc). The decor is very simple but reminded me of some of the best dim sum places in Asia I had visited. The taste of the food was very similar to that of dim sum in Asia also. All the food is made there and you can see them preparing the dim sum and other dishes. Prices are not that bad either, well worth a visit and I will definitely be back.

I came here for a takeaway tonight and the staff were lovely and friendly. I got the prawn and chive dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. The dumplings were delecious really good. Unfortunately the noodles were very disappointing it tasted like Spaghetti and meat I was not a fan of that dish at all. I would definitely come back for the dumplings and soup though :) Thank you

One of my favourite restaurants in the area and some of the best dumplings I’ve had in London. Homemade, delicious dumplings made fresh each day. Only request is that it would be amazing if they could try out some more veggie friendly dumpling options. Perhaps tofu.

DELICIOUS!!!!!! I fancied some dim sum and googled a top rated place and this came up so I had to try. It was 30 minutes drive away but I’m glad I went! I understand why this is rated high. The food was so tasty and I cannot wait to return. The won ton soup was beautifully presented and it was the best one I have ever tasted. The dim sum selection was full of flavour and at an excellent standard. My kids loved trying them all and loved their noodle and rice dishes. I wish I lived local to this place as I would eat here so often. Well done to the welcoming staff and talented chef! I will be back for more delicious food.

Good quality food and service. It's a small restaurant which can get busy during the evening but you can always call ahead and make a booking.

Great local place to eat at! Chicken and meat was halal and purchased fresh daily courtesy of the halal butchers right next door. The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Great selection of food and dim sum, really enjoyed everything we ordered. I especially loved the chicken wonton soup and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the beef/lamb fried dumplings. 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down one of the best places in the area for din sum. Great family run place and kid friendly also. Food arrived in good time and everything was high quality and at a great price. All of the dumplings were delicious as was the Dan Dan noodles. The atmosphere was really lively and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves. I'll be coming here more often for sure.

We had the most delicious dinner here last night. All the dim sum is made fresh, even the dough and you can taste it. Every dish was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend the duck steamed dumplings

I cannot believe how great the dimsum is at Panda's Cafe. We've seen a lot of families with kids here so had assumed they might sacrifice (particularly spicier) flavours, could not be more delighted to be wrong. The chicken wonton soup was a particular highlight. Charming service, clean kitchen and one of London's best dim sums at reasonable prices. We'll be coming back for dinner to try the szechuan bass.

Quite possibly the best Chinese food I have ever had. Truly heavenly.

Lovely place, quite small and cosy, can get busy, so best to book ahead. We were lucky and got seated from walk in on a Saturday night. But others weren't so lucky.. there Dim sum is lovely, we couldn't help but order more and more... There jasmine tea is very fragrant and refreshing. This place is worth a visit. Or a takeaway. Can't wait to go back again soon.

Friendly every time I've been and the aubergine dish is fantastic. Wonderful jasmine tea. Could do with marking the vegan dishes a bit more clearly perhaps, but it's good value nosh.

One of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in London, the flavours will blow you away, most definitely coming back. Staff are super friendly too and being able to see the chefs make the dumplings from scratch was a joy.

Tasty, fresh dimsum but wish there was more selection. The fried dumplings were a highlight. The noodles were ok, tried the egg / wheat noodles with tomato and egg that had shredded cucumber which was 6/10. Good to try and small, independent restaurant. Reasonably priced.

Wonderful, friendly food. The staff were all so kind and cheerful. We started with broccoli with oyster sauce and two other dim sum dishes. We also had spicy fish, double cooked pork and double cooked aubergine with noodles and egg fried rice. We would recommend the pork, aubergine and rice in particular. They were so kind that they added extra rice for the food that we didn’t eat and were taking away. We will definitely go back.
