Papa John's Pizza in Wokingham

From ordering on the phone other evening to Barney delivering my order...excellent customer service. Barney was most pleasant, very polite, most helpful, so nice to meet a real Gentleman. Delivery was in good time, my order was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Thank you very much.

We trawled through all the pizzerias in Wokingham when we first arrived and then found Papa John's. They deliver usually well within the 30 minute time slot and the delivery people are always smiling! The pizzas are very good indeed, we often have one on a Saturday.

Ordered a pizza and an hour and 20 min not even made yet on their tracker. Ring to say I don’t need it and they said they can’t give refund. If they didn’t even make it yet why. Like I said hour and 20 min and not even prepared it

I placed an order for Papa John’s via the Deliveroo app, which I’ve used for other restaurants/takeaways in the past. The delivery ETA suggested a 40 minute wait which was fine as I had seen Dominos were closed which was acceptable. 65 minutes after I had placed my order, I chased Deliveroo for my order as it was 25 minutes over the ETA given which they tried to call Papa Johns. I waited a further 20 minutes as my order has still not arrived and was told my delivery had arrived. This did NOT happen. I chased Deliveroo who tried to locate my order but were told by Papa John’s that they did not recognise the order number. This is shocking service from Papa Johns Wokingham. They did NOT deliver this order to my house as my outside light was on and door was slightly open. No call was made to my number, no message to suggest they couldn’t deliver but to say they had delivered or could not recognise the order number is a shambles. Shame on you!

I was a bit hesitant about ordering home delivery pizzas but found the staff very pleasant and friendly and able to answer my questions about allergens. The pizzas were delivered on time and were hot and tasty. Their offers make for very good value - will use again
