Querido Paprika, Pedí comida el 26 de diciembre y quería compartir mis comentarios. Los dos platos de balti de cordero carecían por completo de sabor, como si estuvieran hechos solo con la salsa de curry base y sin especias adicionales ni cocción para convertirlos en un balti adecuado. Esto fue bastante decepcionante, ya que parecía que no se había puesto ningún esfuerzo en crear el plato. También pedí dos parrillas mixtas, que se servían en un solo recipiente. Esto hizo que fueran difíciles de separar sin crear un desastre, y además, los kebabs de sheesh estaban severamente sobrecocinados, tanto que no eran comestibles. El pollo tandoori principal estaba bien, pero estaba frío, lo que fue inesperado dado que recogí la comida yo mismo, y debería haber estado caliente a menos que no estuviera recién preparado. En general, me pareció un esfuerzo pobre esta vez, intenté enviarle un correo electrónico utilizando la dirección de correo electrónico en su sitio web, pero no se entregó.

Great food, staff very attentive

Dear Paprika, I ordered some food on 26th December and wanted to share my feedback. The two lamb balti dishes were entirely lacking in flavour, as though they were made with just the base curry sauce and no additional spices or cooking to turn them into a proper balti. This was quite disappointing, as it felt like no effort was put into creating the dish. I also ordered two mixed grills, which were served in a single container. This made them difficult to separate without creating a mess, and on top of that, the sheesh kebabs were severely overcooked—so much so that they were inedible. The tandoori chicken main was alright, but it was cold, which was unexpected given I collected the food myself and it should have been piping hot unless it wasn’t freshly prepared. Overall, I found it a poor effort this time.

Great restaurant. I took 20 guests recently, and the service was magnificent. Not one complaint about every dish and very reasonably priced.

The mixed grill was nice but I was disappointed there was no salad with it as there should've been, meat on it's own can be hard work.

Ordered a mix of different starters , dishes and sides. All delicious, hot and plenty of meat. Lovely flavours. Value for money. A*

Excellent food, fabulous staff, great atmosphere. If you want to drink alcohol you need to bring your own as only soft drinks, tea and coffee served x

we usually love a meal from Paprika, but this one was very oily which spoiled the meals

After reading the reviews, I was expecting some super food, especially with all the competition in our area. Sadly very let down with an over priced medico meal, nothing great, small portions, Big let down. won't be ordering again.

Just ordered 4 curry's, 6 poppadoms, 2 nans,1 mint sauce, and 2 rice,1 onion salad, 67 quid their must have been 1 chicken breast used between all 4 curry's poppadoms were just like that hardwoods crap 80 pence for 1 gone up 30 pence in to weeks not value for money at all ,and never use again in my life so be warned people absolute rip off

Been hear before ,balti is bland ,so ordered a madras with starters ,then that phoned me to say if I wanted mint sauce with it ,that's 50p , pathetic,never order or go in there again, if ya going to charge a pathetic 50p for sause that should and always comes with it ,then put that on ya menu ,but it will turn more people away ,serves ya right

Just tried to order of them and they just phoned to say I have to pay for mint sauce when ordering starters never heard of this from any other restaurants and the Balti is very bland never order from here again very disappointed

honestly would never go anywhere else. I've been living in Rednal/Rubery for 8 years. I stumbled across this place and bonus to save on the boozer bill when we dined inside. never had a bad one yet

Very nice large restaurant clean and tidy. Service was very good,but unfortunately guys the food was very bland. No spice no kick.the nan breads and keema rice was lovely. But like I say the dishes were very disappointing taste wise. No spice no taste. Review on 10/7/2024. Eat in meal last orders.

Fantástica comida esta noche. Handi de cordero y paneer y pollo shashlick weee ambos deliciosos platos. Fresco y abundante y de gran valor. Gran servicio también.

Es la primera vez que pruebo pimentón, ya que no me he mudado a la zona, no reservé y apareció un sábado por la noche. Me senté muy rápido, tomamos nuestras propias cervezas y nos sirvieron bien y rápido. Tuvimos un entrante mixto seguido de saag paneer, murgh e - azam, arroz y naan. A la señora le encantó el saag, mi curry era bueno pero nada especial, volveré para probar el Gurkha especial. Rice y Naan eran muy buenos. Fue excelente relación calidad-precio, bajaremos de nuevo a probar otros platos.

Food was very good but the waiter never left us alone, even helped himself 2 sum of our drink! We were too embarrased 2 make a sceen, also we had littl time 2 chat uninterupted between ourselves. Have 2 add hav been coming here for years and ALWAYS great food and service - it ws my recomendation that brought my friends here....who won't be going again im sorry 2 say.

This place never disappoints, amazing food service and very reasonable price. Been coming here for a few years brought many friends and has to be one of the best curry houses in Birmingham.

Been a regular customer here now for the last 7 years, Food is Excellent and so is the service always polite and friendly, even though i don’t live local anymore it is still worth the drive from Worcester, tried their new specials menu last night as fancied something new i had spicy chicken pakora starter and the Gurka Curry, both were full of flavour, perfect amount of spice and the nicest curry i had every tried, cannot rate this place enough i will returning very soon :)

I ordered tandoori Chicken and nan. The chicken was burned. I couldn't eat it. I phoned them and they said that is how they serve it and they could give me a discount next time, l order from them. So they were not offering to do anything now, only when l order a meal from them again. They don't seem to realise you deal with the issue now, which is how you can resolve issues. If you buy a bad meal, would you go back for more??

Visited this place for the first time this evening as our usual place wasn’t open for 5pm! I can honestly say the service and food is by far the best around rubery & Longbridge put together I will definitely be a returning customer! I’m so glad we chose this place just by the off chance! Thank you for great food and amazing service.

This is our local. Food is fresh and tasty. Service always great. Can’t fault it. Eat in or take away. Take your own drink too. Try it- you won’t be disappointed

The main food was good, with a nice kick of chilli, but the samosas were not good. The vegetable filling as tasteless and the texture was awful.

Slightly disappointed with portion size and one of the two meals was tasteless.

I'm not too sure if they got my portion sizes mixed up because my starter was bigger than my main!! Food was absolutely beautiful such a shame the lamb tikka main only had about 6 small pieces of lamb in it lol. Feel kinda ripped off when a leg of lamb would have been cheaper!! Lol

Always love the food from paprika. Always tastes amazing and so fresh and hot. Only thing today delivery got pushed back twice from 7:40 to 8:25 so ended up waiting nearly 2 and a half hours.

Catered to a booking of 14 very well , food was beautiful tasting and very reasonable in price . Service was the stand out for me , very polite and asked if everything was alright before and after food , table service was also very good with water bottles being topped up without asking , first time visiting and i will definately be back .

Spent £30 quid and what I got for my money was shock butter chicken I had 3 piece of chicken and wasn’t warm at all the rice barley cover my plate. I feel I’ve been ripped off tbh. First and last time I order from here.

Visited by chance and chose to dine in. The food the service is brilliant, and cannot fault this place, and will 100% go again. Please remember if you are going to go to bing your own drinks.

Favourite Indian restaurant. Always lovely food. Staff are very welcoming. Very clean, would recommend. Not always a place to park. But you can park over the road if the front of the restaurant is busy.

Madras was lovely but the egg fried rice had egg shell in it and I didn’t notice until I was chewing on it. Usually lovely from here, so this was just a one off im sure.

First time went in and live in Rednal rubery most of our life always goes to dine India Banophool Himalaya but this is the most amazing food I ever had taste was suckling yum yum service was so lovely gentleman lovely decorated very clean couldn’t fault it definitely recommend this to everyone live far and local wish I had been there years ago with family thank you see u again soon

If I could do less than one star I would. Absolutely atrocious service. 3 hour wait for food, and the excuse was that they are busy… I’d you’re that busy don’t accept any more orders. No food arrived and had to call for a refund to which the man had a million excuses.

Waited 3 hours and no order arrived. Heavily disappointed as I had family and friends here waiting for food.

Edit 4 years on from original review (Jan 2022) Still our absolute favourite curry house in the area!! We're still regular customers. Love the fact that we get such great service every time, all the staff are always really friendly and polite and the food is always delicious. Their takeaway is always good but dining in is a real treat because of the staffs service levels - they have recently had a refurb too and so the restaurant is looking lovely and fresh with a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Can't fault them. ************ Original review (2017) The best Indian restaurant we've ever tried and it has been that way for years. Our favourite place to eat out. Not only is the food delicious but the staff and service is amazing and even when the restaurant is busy they still manage to make you feel like you're getting preferential treatment. Definitely reccomended with 500 stars

Very enjoyable meal at Paprika with relatives who were visiting from Ireland. The staff were wonderful, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, in fact it was a more enjoyable experience than my recent visit to a certain five star restaurant in Birmingham city centre that had a visit fromTom Cruise! Would definitely recommend Paprika any day. Many thanks to all the staff.

Beautiful food. Haven't ordered from here since it was The Royal India and it did not disappoint. Still as delicious as I remember it 20 years ago! Only half the order arrived but when I called they sent out the rest within 30 minutes (it's Saturday night 7pm so I understood it was going to be busy) but well worth the wait! Definitely recommend and would order again.
